November 11, 2016 5.0 We use since 3 years ago, it has help us a lot to organice our bussines. We carry a lot of SKUs and multiple wharehouses, and it easly manage all your inventory. Also you can manage multichannel sales, with ebay, amazon, shopiphy, bigcomerce, etc, is not super easy to add app all the products on each channel but once is setup it will help you a lot on your sales and fullfilment. We manage all Sales, costumers, Purchase orders, inventory, accounting, etc on the sYstem. It has a looot o features that we may not use all of them or dont know how to use them but it still has them, as for example CMR or task or projects managers modules. As all softawares if you input wrong info it will output wrong reports so you may learn how is the right way to do things and transacctions to have accurate information. Mostly is common sense and easy to learn but you will have to dedicate some time to learn how to use it. Overall it is an amacing softaware, not cheap, but if your busines can afford it, it is definetly one of the solutions that will help you the most to organice your entire business. Brightpearl's system allows us to control every aspect of our company in one piece of software. Pros \- automatically downloads and processes orders from a huge variety of sources ranging from Magento to Amazon. -Stock of goods can be managed at any number of warehouses from anywhere with an internet connection. February 22, 2013 5.0 We have just implemented into a small, growing owner managed wholesale business and are very impressed with it. The system is an 'all in one' solution that has not only replaced the old accounting system but also the CRM system and has given us full stock control for the first time. The insight into the business and functionality the system gives is superb. We still getting up to speed with this increased functionality and are very excited by it! The whole implementation and set-up process has been relatively straightforward. We have been able to implement the system, in a relatively short period of time, with assistance from the excellent Brightpearl team. The help guides and YouTube videos are great and the set-up is very user friendly. Compared to the alternatives on the market, I can't recommend this highly enough! We use as a point of sale system, stock control system and accounting system. It links to our Magento based web site and we will soon be using it to sell on amazon and ebay, Its a great system - easy to use and comprehensive. Very good. Pros Comprehensive features. Cons The only significant flaw which I really hope they will address soon is the integration with Magento is such that individual colour/size variations have to linked to a master product which cannot be sent automatically - very time consuming! In relation to helping with our sales management it ensures that each user can see any communication and quotes that have been sent by other staff members and not end up sending multiple quotes and invoices to the same customer. Not only has Brightpearl helped us to bring all of that under one umbrella and understand our processes and business better and more efficiently, but it's letting us move forward, expand and develop. We're still learning how to optimise our processes with the system every day and their expanding community and support network is growing everyday helping to share and uncover even more tips and tricks! They have possibly one of the most helpful and friendly support teams I've worked with before - whether it's to discuss an issue or just ask 'how?' There's still a little further to go before I can say it's got everything we need and it does it flawlessly, but I know they're determined, and refreshingly, are really open about where they're headed and how they plan to get there. The implementation was smooth and once our products were imported into Brightpearl we were good to go. Brightpearl has a tonne of features - and we are slowly using more and more of them. The great thing is having a single view of all your inventory across online and in-store. This helps massively and also prevents us from overselling online - something that was always an issue for us. The magento integration is stable - and features some nice touches, such as the ability to allow some products to sell to zero, vs those which can be backordered. Again having a single product catalog in brightpearl that is pushed to Magento also makes sure we are consistent with our pricing across online and in-store, another big win. For the company who is selling through multiple channels - we highly recommend it! It allows us to download all orders from Amazon, Magento and phone / mail order into one place. This makes stock management, order tracking and accounting much easier than trying to do the same with several sytems. When we recently acquired another company, Brightpearl was invaluable in allowing us to easily integrate their website into our system. I tested lots of other systems, and while not perfect, Brightpearl seems to be the best of them. Pros The multi Channel elements. Inventory Management. Cons The cost can mount up if you have a number of users. Reporting could be better. As with any cloud based system there are problems and each user want different things from the system. It is so user friendly, nice clean screen with full visibility in the dashboard of the business - the graphs are fantastic! The accounts for the business are presented in reports directly from BrightPearl. Pros Can be accessed anywhere - office, home or even on holiday !! Very intuitive - it just works so well and having multi tabs open is a great advantage when you are busy. Keeps a track of all activity including notes and telephone calls. Super reliable. I have very very rarely I run into a problem accessing the cloud. Giving a 4 only due to lack of integration with Magneto custom fields, which was really important for us. Pros Robust - Inventory mgmt, CRM, & acct. Implementation - simple & plays well with Magento and ShipStation. Setting it up is simple Guides & Support - Support guides actually answer questions you have. Support is responsive Cons You can't customize everything, which in the end is fine. We had issues with importing custom fields from Matengo. The ability exists but our checkout is customized to the point where it doesn't really work for even with the new feature. Order processing is a lot easier now with everything in one place. I have to admit at the beginning there were lots of bugs, and things not working as they should. However in the last 6 months major investment has gone into it, and its improved a lot and getting closer to the ideal platform. The support staff are friendly and will get back to you within 24 hours, however I have found that some bugs take months to fix! Pros Friendly and respond fast to any problems you might have. We been using Brightpearl for just over 2 years and i have to honestly say it is the best software i have used. It is extremely easy to use, has everything i need and the price is amazing for what you get. We have just integrated Magento which works perfectly and links direct to our website. I would also recommend watching the you tube videos as these are very helpful in the beginning Pros As it is an internet based programme it is perfect that you can logon anywhere and don't have to be in the office to work. Cons The only way you can do inventory take directly in - is to print a list of SKUs and chek them manually. If you have more than 300 SKUs it will be very difficult to do it this way.
