In both instances, registrants had to add up their own totals. Once submitted, there were often many mistakes we would have to fix. With Regpack, there's no math to be done or double check! Now that we're able to take payments online, we'll never go back! Pros Their customer service is great, it's easy to edit yourself, and the filters will save me lots of time! They have many YouTube videos that teach you how to edit, and they also give you training sessions. Our registrants really appreciate the payment plan option. Cons I loved their YouTube videos, but I didn't know they existed until after my first training session. If I had been aware of them and watched them before my first training, I would have had a much better idea of what to ask. June 29, 2017 4.0 Pros Regpack easily organizes every aspect of my summer camp registration. I'm able to track payments, fundraising credits, notes about a camper, email the users and so much more. I also love that my users have the option to sign up for automatic payments and that I can sort the users in so many different ways. Cons The only part that I find challenging about Regpack is if I have a need to speak with customer support. This is also to ensure that payment and financial data is secure, and can be viewed by verified admins of your system. We are a VERY small camp and have a lot of special needs campers - so this system is great for getting all that detail from campers. Cons Our campers/parents have a hard time navigating it and get confused easily about how to register a camper a second time - they end up creating a new camper because they are not directed to their dashboard when they log back on. Pros The software is customizable which was something we looked for for a long time. Cons Sometimes the features are not very intuitive and it can be a little difficult to navigate creating an application or form from scratch. Which makes it feel like the company is forcing you to use them to help you create your product which could cost extra money, that we as a non-profit, don't have. January 10, 2018 5.0 Time saving, printing and mailing costs lowered (we used to run with paper registrations). It allows online payments which is great for new customers and still allows us to enter payments on the back-end of things if pple still prefer to pay via cheque or cash. It keeps all the information at the same location and enables us to find it easily through customizable reports. Pros It is simple and straight-forward. I love the automated emails we can send, especially now that we can copy them into a new project and don't have to re-write them every time. Online payment options are also extremely useful in saving time. Cons Still not everything can be bilingual (English and French). I was also able to learn my way around the system fairly quickly which was nice. Cons That it will let someone register for family camp under the child category which then means that we don't see their registration show up when we go to pull family camp numbers. It would also be great if reg pack had a component that would automatically deduct funds put into a campers store account once we entered an amount that was spent into the comment section. Cons the software is great. the only issue i have encountered is that after we closed the account from our first event, we continued to get charged and then i had to call customer service when i needed to reinstate and they said for some odd balance would be removed no problem, which it was but getting someone from customer service to respond was not as easy as hoped. My biggest complaint is that when we did our sales presentation and decided to go with your company, we were told that once the program was ready to go, we would have an onboarding call for training. Once we got to that point...we were sent to your YouTube channel. Your designer did help us a lot by doing some specific videos when we couldn't find the answer to some of our issues. However, we spent a lot of time searching and rewatching the videos when a 30-minute onboarding session (which is also mentioned in video one) would have set us up more for success. We do three large events a year and will be using the registration for all of them. It is a good value for the money but I think we would be utilizing it even better with some training. Pros We were able to approve potential attendees as they signed up without having to move information from one system to another. Love the emailing feature and the ability to categorize people as we reviewed. Cons I wish we could attach documents to the emails (certificates of completion/maps). It isn't user friendly to start. February 7, 2018 5.0 Pros It is the only software I found that allowed for use of extensive condition logic in my forms. We have multiple camp locations that have a variety of registration options. Being able to ask "if/then" questions is critical to my forms. Cons The user interface on the customer end is pretty basic. I wish it was a little more attractive. It is easy to use however. One unfortunate issue is that the content jumps too much. Email marketing would be a tremendous asset. I wish there was a way to integrate previous clients and contact lists for marketing purposes. Sure every software offers a way to ask a follow up question, but Regpack takes this several steps further to support organizations like you have many variables and want a clean, seamless registration flow. Cons Would like to see a more customizable scheduler widget (more geared towards multi-day, academic-style calendar in our case), more robust data export (system was unable to export the data for certain more extensive reports in a single export, but rather could only handle 100 or so records at a time), and would like a more intuitive interface for creating reports. It's easy to set up forms, products, payment plans, and send custom communications to each person. This has made our organization a lot more efficient and saved us an enormous amount of time. Cons The software is great, I don't have any criticism of that. However, the customer service can slow things down. Once your account is up and running, the only way to troubleshoot problems (mostly learn how things work) is to send a message to customer support and receive a response 1-2 days later. It would be great to have a live chat feature. Cons The customer service is very slow and unresponsive. Our window of use each year is pretty narrow, but when we need it, we really need it. It's difficult to get support to understand that so in the middle of the crunch, if there's a problem, you have to scream pretty loud to get help. Customer service for this type of product is vital. Used the software for: ### "Flexible, easy to use software for complex scheduling event" October 10, 2015 5.0 I've used Regpacks for over three years and have been impressed by the rapid updates that have made it irreplaceable for our organization. We run a one night educational event where community members select three speakers across three times slots. Some pay, some do not. Regpacks has made it easy to set up, embed the site in our website, track and then report on our participants. When I have an issue customer support is fast to help and if they can't answer they escalate to development and the issue is usually resolved within a day or so. Can't recommend this highly enough. Pros: - flexible for your needs (and these change and the software does as well) - is able to take credit card payments with ease - sends back end email confirmations automatically and when pushed out by admin - reporting makes it easy to track what is going on - great people at regpacks to work with - at the end of every project I send a list of things that could be done better and I've noticed that many of them, over time, have been implemented - online help is very good Cons: - not too many here because they respond quickly to questions when asked, but there are times when having a support person during the weekend would be helpful - there are some things that as an admin you cannot do yourself that don't make sense.
