The back end is user friendly and easy to change around if needed Cons Limited PDF reports - always can customize and download to excel, but the PDF download only allows you to download the information and it comes out on individual pages for each registrant. " June 21, 2017 4.0 Increasing our number of campers by allowing the option for uses to pay online. Pros That you are able to customize the product for each camp. Another feature that I like is you are able to open and close your account when the camp starts and ends. I also like that you are able to make reports that are custom to what you need. Cons A lot of users sometimes have a hard time logging back in to register for additional camps after signing up the first time. Sometimes it is difficult to understand the total order and what is paid in the account. Having no option in reports that can show who paid by credit card or checks. Review Source BH Britton H. Parents fill out one application, and all of our data is easily moved into external spreadsheets. Its not perfect, but seems to be a great value for our money. Pros Most of the set-up was intuitaive and could be done without a software expert. For the parts that were tricker, regpacks customer support has been quite helpful so far. Cons I wish that I could help my clients with their login issues directly, instead of having to go to regpacks support. January 8, 2018 5.0 Pros It is fairly user-friendly. The training I received was excellent, and the online help has enabled me to figure out other things myself. It has worked very well for our event. Cons Not being able to call customer service directly has been an obstacle. Sending an email and then waiting for someone to call me, which always happened when I was away from my desk. It prolonged issues that could have been solved quickly without playing phone tag. Cons Reporting did not have necessary reports that our organization needed. Unable to run reports by the day to give attendance sheets to camp counselor. Unable to collect payments online due to the way we had to setup our registration. This created extra work for me as I had to collect manual payments here at the rink. We got the software to ease the manual work I was doing and it did not really do this. As an education-focused nonprofit, data is really important to our operations. Regpack make is extremely easy to generate reports using any data points you may need. Another great feature is the way you can search through registrants based on any criteria. Cons The user interface isn't very intuitive. It is important to understand all of the features but that causes there to be a lot of clutter in the menus and drop downs. However, you do get used to navigating it after a while. Used the software for: ### "Okay product, significant flaws" December 7, 2016 3.0 RegPack is good from a registrant's end, meaning the user experience of who is registering for your program/camp/etc. It is simple, looks clean, and can be used to built necessary messages, notifications, and field types. Where the system fails is on the backend for administrators. The reporting requires too much work from the admin, is not intuitive, and relies too heavily on the specific structure of your forms. The customer service is okay, but they aren't too willing to fix things for you, only explain what you can/cannot do. Regpack is an advance registration system that allows a lot of customization. That is how the front-end is so seamless for your applicants. Pros The thing I like most about Regpack is its versatility and adaptability to create a registration system from the ground up. June 20, 2017 5.0 This software is extremely easy to use and allows me to have control over changes that need to be made. Yet, there is also great support. So, it's the best of both worlds! Pros The software is easy to use and the support has been great. It's very flexible. It's easy to take payments. It's easy to keep track of data. It didn't take me long to figure out how to make the system work for me. I like that they helped me get it set up initially, but I have control now and can make changes as I need to make them. Cons There are a few features that I wish would be added (people can't just opt to pay a set amount, I can't move registrants from one "family" to another, they don't have an option to take credit card payments via a swipe, etc.), but these are all manageable, and I think that they probably will be added in the future. Pros users can easily understand how to register; the basic system is initially set up by RegPack staff; tracking class rosters and payments by users, re-assigning children who were improperly registered, and sending automated invoices are all very easy to do; this has the power of a database without the complication of learning how to manage a database; easily pull data in a csv or pdf format. Cons It can be confusing to understand the process of which RegPack staff is working with you at different points in the process, and how to get help when needed. There is no simple way of assigning priority registration to a sub-group. Pros The robust functionality - It has the flexibility on the front end to gather all the registration info we need and a lot of capabilities on the back end to organize, sort, review, report, etc! Cons It is a necessary evil but the thing I like least is having to create a username and password to complete the registration process. It does exactly what I need and probably a lot more. Cons The software can be difficult to learn. But, they have a skilled team to help you learn the terminology and get you programs up and running. No phone number for customer service, but I am sure that this is to cut down on costs so I am fine with it. May 3, 2017 5.0 It saved me from having to process about 250-275 paper registration forms and checks by hand. The people attending the conference were very happy to be able to register online and pay by credit card. Pros It's incredibly flexible and was able to handle our somewhat complicated registration process. The interface is clean, organized, and generally easy to use. For our nonprofit organization, the price was within our means; we received great value for our money. Cons The biggest problem I had was figuring out how to use filters and reports to get the information I needed from the database.
