### "Benefits of using Maintenance Connection"

November 7, 2018

4.0

We are using the desktop version to plan and analyse our PM strategy and work orders. The trades staff on the floor use the mobile version which will run on most tablets via a standard browser at all our plants to record all breakdowns of assets which is then analysed each month to identify reoccuring faults or assets that are regularly failing. A strategy is then put in place to eliminate the root cause of the issue. The trades staff can also access asset information via the tablet (such as manuals, procedures) that are directly linked to the asset or the work order. We are now seeing huge gains in efficiencies in the inventory section of our business due to the automatic reorder functionality for inventory as the trades staff directly book out parts used. once a work order is entered on the tablet, the trades staff can look up parts that are used on that asset and see how many of those parts are in stock and the location of the bin in the store .

Pros

The ease of use in the configuration of MC is far better than what I experienced with different vendor. Most user options are a setting that the local administrator can change via a tick box option. The in built reporting and dashboard suite are very easy to pick up and customise reports and dashboards to your companies individual needs

Cons

The only problem I have found with the software is now that we are starting to use more features of the program at a higher level we are finding small bugs. These bugs don't affect the basic functionality and the support staff are brilliant in identifying the issues and passing the issues on to the developers to develop a fix.

### "Can't Find Anything Better"

February 24, 2026

5.0

I have used eight different CMMS systems throughout my career. Maintenance Connection is the easiest system to use, while providing the most usable information.

Pros

It's just a very easy program to use and manage! I don't have to spend half of my day managing the program, but instead, I spend 30 minutes a day managing the workforce and maintenance jobs!

Cons

The glitches that occasionally happen. However, these are usually corrected within a day or two. When something does happen, the process to request help is very easy and is usually acted upon within a couple hours.

### "Coordinator (oversee all work orders) "

February 23, 2026

3.0

Since being with Maintenance Connection, it has been "OK." I find people who are to help, some do bare minimum, some some rise up and go above and beyond. That is sincerely needed with using software that one does not know all about.

Pros

Keeps all information in database that has been entered. Now that I was taught on how to search with using the "wildcard" way, Ex: %digital% - that has helped tremendiously!

Cons

No ease of use, especially graphically. We have been using MC since the spring of last year and all vendors have done the "White Wall Process" and still from time to time, do not receive work orders. it's not reliable.

### "The CMMS that can do it all and continues to grow"

September 26, 2025

5.0

I have been using MC for 12 years and I have enjoyed using this software. I have looked at other software and I always compare it to MC and it never comes close to what MC can offer.

Pros

I like the ability to track a lot of information in multiple modules, that each module connects to one another, and the customization that you can do as an admin.

Cons

I wish some modules were more robust; I wish the procedure tasks were easier to use; I wish there were a better chat feature available for techs; and I would like to see more ideas from users be implemented.

For the most part it does what it was designed for. It's a CMMS program. Like I mentioned the AI future is now.

Pros

Maintenance Connection has everything that is needed in a CMMS Program that is needed to do what is generally needed in the industry.

Cons

As AI is ramping up, it is not setup currently to start at the beginning of the new era. Predictive is good but self-troubleshooting program would be better

### "Maintenance Connection Professional Use Experience"

December 18, 2025

3.0

I've been using Maintenance Connection since 2009 and it a very handy, user-friendly tool that is easily deployed, easy to administer, and easy to data mine. It has been a great experience but am hopeful that Accruent can bring on more enhanced features such as GIS integration.

Pros

Our staff truly appreciate the user-friendliness of the software. New users find it easy to learn and navigate to accomplish their tasks. The Reports module is by far one of the best applications with this CMMS. Other software struggle in this area or you have to use a 3rd-party software.

Cons

I think that Maintenance Connection can enhance the software by standing up a robust GIS functionality for all cloud-service clients. This is the one area that our clients request and is a challenge to deliver using Maintenance Connection.

### "Lacking Support and Customization"

December 18, 2025

3.0

Overall good experience, I just wish I was able to use it to its full potential. There's a lot of bugs in the system that make asset addition especially difficult/time consuming.

Pros

Ease of use for the customers- Easy to setup accounts and links for customers to submit work order requests.

Cons

As a seasoned user, there's not a lot of options for me to customize what I need. We have used the system for 5 years and Im still not getting what I need from the program and I dont have the support to assist

I am very compfortable using this platform. I use the Accruent Academy often to refresh my myself when needed.

Pros

I like the how easy it is to search for assets using global search. And how easy it is to create new assets and PM'.

Cons

I wish it was easier to add images to the procedure task while creating PMs. It would be wonderful to be able copy an image from a users manual and paste it on the task it is refering to.

December 18, 2025

4.0

I like the software and have used it for almost 6 years in two different companies. Being able to have their team listen and give you what you ask for, provided it is within the capabilities of the software.

Pros

The flexibility to create my own reports to fit my situation and the ease of which people can adapt to using it.

Cons

One minor complaint that I have is that not being able to print either a calendar or Gantt chart to post is an inconvenience, but we do work around it.

Positive, Easy to Learn, Love the training modules are accessible and detailed. I would recommend this CMMS program to any company I find myself at.

Pros

Being able attach photos, documents, and notes to all PM's, Work Orders, Inventory, PO's. Every aspect can hold all the details needed to create a smooth transaction for preventive maintenance.

Cons

The service requests aren't required to obtain critical information to convert to workorder as a planner.

### "Maintenance Connection: A must have for anyone in maintenance (or anyone who doesn't want their equipment to break down) "

December 18, 2025

5.0

The more I use the program, the more I enjoy my work! I learn something new about the program almost every day. I look forward to the day when I can collaborate a little easier with the program and hopefully have API access.

Pros

I love all the features that Maintenance Connection has built into it. It gives you the ability to keep track of every little aspect of your equipment, as well as the inspections and maintenance done to it. I love that it leaves a place open for the user to add their own information about assets with the user-defined fields. They thought of almost everything when designing the program. I love how it has the ability to predict when something could go wrong.

Cons

I wish it were just a little more user-friendly. I hate that I am unable to access the majority of these features. For instance, when I tried to add a detail such as the Year Manufactured to the fire extinguishers that I am tracking in the program, it says I don't have sufficient permissions to do so. Which is a smart security move in most situations; however, I don't see how this could be a security risk.

### "Solid Tool That Keeps Our Team Moving"

February 24, 2026

4.0

Overall, it’s been a dependable system for our team. It helps us stay organized, keep track of assets, and stay on top of maintenance without things falling through the cracks. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done, and the support team really helps make up for any rough edges.

Pros

Maintenance Connection has made our day‑to‑day work a lot smoother. Creating and tracking work orders is pretty straightforward, and keeping up with preventive maintenance is way easier now. Inventory tracking has also gotten better over the years, which saves us a ton of headaches. Their support team deserves credit — whenever we’ve run into issues, they’ve been quick to jump in and help.

Cons

The interface could definitely use a refresh. Some things take more clicks than they should, and a few parts of the system feel a bit old‑school. Reporting works well once you figure it out, but there’s a learning curve. The mobile version is handy, but still not perfect when you're out in the field.

### "Pretty robust CMMS with lots of customizations."

December 18, 2025

5.0

Overall, Maintenance Connection has proven to be a great value for the cost, providing a secure site with tons of operational tools and solid customer service.

Pros

I find the document and asset management very useful. Building BOM for equipment, attaching technical data and images, all of which can be linked to work orders. PM planning and sorting makes maintaining a professional approach to maintenance easy. PO creation and organization have become essential to our organization.

Cons

The report building could potentially be a little more user friendly, such as utilizing a report building "wizard" tool, but is overall very useful and an integral part of staying on track with our KPI's and overall site coordination.

As a system we need to update this more regularly and more detail training would be helpful. It would be a better system if our own team actually utilize the tools provided by MC. Overall I would continue to use it and see no problems

Pros

That a lot of items is all in one system. Pictures and videos/ documents are all important - and we are able to keep it in one system. we don't use it for financial documents - which would be useful. It has great potential.

Cons

We don't utilize enough of it and not train prior to using it - the weekly meeting is great but hard to attend

### "Update and simplify"

February 24, 2026

3.0

It's complicated to use. Some of the steps are unnecessary. Don't like the difficulty level to complete simple task. This feels like an early 2000s upgraded version to the AS400 screen, just allowing more colors.

Pros

The ability to track and maintain inventory. There is visibility into other DCs stockrooms if you ever need to get information missing or request parts that may have long lead times. This makes collaborating to get parts from other users very simple.

Cons

The platform needs an overhaul. The look is dated. The actions to complete tasks should be reduced. Having to create POs in MC when you have already done one in the procurement database is inefficient. The PM process has useless tabs. Learning this system requires effort that shouldn't be needed. Creating reports and the tracking needs major work. Too many options that create confusion and extra work even after you export. Having to get administrator approval to make changes should not be required if each DC is isolated from other locations. This would eliminate so much extra time trying to manage dead stock or updating part information. A connection to procurement systems needs to be created to help streamline the PO creation process and make this an automatic action in MC.

### "Better than most."

December 18, 2025

5.0

Overall I like MC over any of the other systems I have worked with. Being able to setup auto assignments, and send emails based on status changes of work orders, if setup correctly it is almost a hands off system.

Pros

After using several different programs, MC is one of the easiest to learn. It also helps that the Academy is free and available at any time.

Cons

Setting up a new user, is a little harder than I think it needs to be. The site admin should be able to setup someone without having to go through the login screen.

MC has made asset health documentation a breeze when cooperate is wanting to know how much time, labor and material was put into the asset questioned.

Pros

Over the the past four years, I have found that the platform is extremely user friendly, and is very easily learned, even without teaching.

Pros

### "Pricey but overall great program"

February 24, 2026

Going on year 6 now and overall happy with the program. It has helped eliminate down time in the production area and helped with organizing things during out audits.

Pros

The interface is helpful and easy to understand. We use it primarily for maintenance management and it makes creating PM's and WO's very easy to track and revert back to in times of need, such as an audit.

Cons

The cost of the program is a little on the expensive side but if you were to use it to its fullest potential, I think one can justify it. Customer support is great when you can get in touch but that is not the easiest thing to do for some reason.

I am happy with the Maintenance Connection interface. It's simple and easy to use. However, it can get frustration at times when you have to close several work orders and have to repeat the labor hours.

Pros

### "Maintenance Connection Review . "

February 23, 2026

3.0

My experience with this program has been exceptionally smooth from day one. It functions exactly as a maintenance tool should—working quietly in the background to support our goals without creating unnecessary obstacles or administrative "red tape." The simplicity of the layout means we can focus entirely on equipment reliability rather than fighting with a clunky interface. It has truly streamlined our workflow and made our PM reviews a seamless part of the work week.

Pros

his program is remarkably intuitive, stripping away the usual complexity found in maintenance scheduling. The user-friendly interface and logical navigation allow our team to update PM tasks in seconds rather than hours. It strikes the perfect balance between robust data tracking and a clean, clutter-free layout that even our least tech-savvy technicians can master.

Cons

How only a certain amount of people can be on the system at the same time, i believe for us is 2 or 3.

Pros

### "MC works well for us! "

December 18, 2025

I have been working in the system for about 2 years, I knew nothing about it when I started, and the trainings were very helpful as well as the help desk when I could not figure something out.

Pros

Easy to learn, works well with our campus. Whenever I have had a question, the support has been great! From fast email reply's to setting up a phone call to walk me through the solution.

Cons

The cost of each license seems steep, when there are several of us that need to work in the system, it is a pain to have to wait until someone is done. Would be nice if there were more options for pricing.
