Overall, my experience with ClassDojo as a parent has been positive and helpful. It keeps me informed and connected to my child’s classroom, even when I can’t be there in person. While there are a few drawbacks, it’s a useful tool for staying involved in my child’s education.

What I like most about ClassDojo as a parent is how it keeps me connected to my child’s classroom on a daily basis. I love it! The families love it! It’s a great app for classrooms and sports teams alike. I had even used it in past summer art programs. The parents love that the chat feature is similar to texting directly and I love that I can get messages quickly without sharing my phone number.

Pros

It is the easiest and quickest way to communicate with parents and families while still maintaining your privacy as a teacher and not sharing your own phone number on social media contact. I also love the ability to post pictures and videos showing parents what goes on in our classroom on a daily basis.

Cons

Honestly there isn’t much that I don’t like, it has been an amazing communication tool with students and families and also a great way to award student behavior!

My overall experience with ClassDojo has been excellent. Good value for money. It has really improved my niece and nephews' learning.

Pros

I appreciate how easily and conveniently parents or guardians can monitor their child's learning. The added features are nice and cool. Easy to learn and use.

Cons

ClassDojo Customer support responses are a bit slow. I also noticed a few issues and lagging, tho it didn't last.

Pros

First, i love that my nephew and nice love it. They use it to do their assignments given to them by school. I like that it is kid friendly

Cons

The only issue i have is that sometimes the lessons are not well explained for the kids. Sometimes they need an adult and even I as an adult sometimes struggle to understand the expectations of the work or assignment.

How easy it is to use-formal, safe invitations straight from your child's instructor! Consistent, daily progress notes.

Overall it was a very useful app, and I have no complaints! We used it daily in our classroom, and it was really fun and interactive.

Pros

Super helpful with classroom management, classroom communication, reminders, and a fun incentive bonus for the class. My students loved the interactive features.

Cons

Sometimes it was slow to load, and challenging for parents to navigate the app. But overall is was great to use.

Ease of use; setting up classes, sending messages through the class story and creating events to allow parent to sign up as volunteers.

Cons

Adding students that are already enrolled in the school is very time consuming and cumbersome..I've tried sharing the QR code for parents to add themselves but often have to troubleshoot that for them as well.
