Overall I thinks it's a great software to keep track of your children. And for children it's an encouraging system because there are a lot of different options with appearance of dojo characters and children can upload photos, videos to the app that their teacher can make them the winner of the class. I thinks every teacher must use ClassDojo.

Pros

With ClassDojo teacher can give you positive or negative marks. And it's a great thing for children to encourage them to the lesson. It also gives family participation that you can see your kid's marks and status.

Cons

While signing up for first time it takes a little bit of time but after you're in the app everything is perfect and you can see whatever status of your child.

Pros

My daughters class uses this app for her school it's great because I get progress reports on how she is doing everyday.

Cons

It could be a little bit easier to navigate but overall it's a great app for both teachers and parents.

Pros

It allows me to see what my daughter's behavior is like during the day and alerts me to both positive and negative behaviors.

Cons

I can't see very far back so it doesn't let me see overall how well she has done since the beginning of the year and I can't see how many total points she has.

I have used Class Dojo for two years now and continually tell my colleagues about it. It is very user friendly, the staff promptly responds to emails, they take teachers comments and ideas and make it a reality. Class Dojo gives teachers the ability to get in touch with parents, creates a "social media" atmosphere, allows students to post (with teacher approval to the class story). I think this is a spectacular software and the cost now is free!

Pros

Ease of use, quick response from customer service, continually growing and improving

Cons

Parents can't communicate with one another.

Pros

It was easy for my children to use while they were home during covid. My children used it almost every day with ease.

Pros

Class Dojo is a great tool to use for classroom management as you can reward students for good behavior or take points for off task behavior.

Cons

I have yet to find any cons while using Class Dojo in my classroom. It makes classroom management simple.

Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who has a child in the public school system.

Pros

I absolutely love this product. I can keep track of what my child is accomplishing every day at school. It has a messaging feature that is connected to all of his teachers and the vice principle. You can upgrade and use it for positive reinforcement at home also.

Cons

When using the app, the school has the ability to give the students a certain number of points at the beginning of the week. Some teachers opt not to do that, so if the student gets a bad point it automatically drops there score down for the week.

This is an effective way to encourage positive behavior and creates a simple way for teachers and students to communicate. It can be used as a reward system and is simple, free, and your classroom roster can be input in quickly.

Pros

The Dojo is user friendly and can works well with helping control behavior problems in the classroom, as well as encouraging positive behavior among students.

Cons

No cons about the software so far. Would love to see updates to maybe a more advanced version.

The overall communication between the school and I, and also between my son and I has increased immensely.

Pros

I love being able to see what my child is doing at school via pictures and posts as they are happening! I also love being able to get an immediate report about his daily behavior and productivity. It keeps me in the loop, gives us talking points after school, and helps me know how to support him! It's also a great way for his teacher to give us a quick reminder about upcoming events and notices.

Cons

I wish it were possible to save pictures that the teachers post. This is really the only thing I've found that I'd prefer to be changed.

Overall, it's a good tool to use to be informed about what's going on with the kids at school.

Pros

The teachers of my 2 sons (one a pre-schooler and the other a first grader) use this software. It's a good tool they use to keep us informed of what the kids did that day, the upcoming week or if need anything from us. Also, they've been sending us the home-schooling info through it now with us being in the quarantine which has been very helpful.

Cons

The only issue I have is the app for it on my phone will at times tell me I have something new from the teacher and when I log in there isn't anything there.

I really liked the behavior management part of it, but didn’t always keep up with it. It is also a really great way to quickly communicate with parents.

Pros

It’s very easy to customize the positive and negative behaviors and points allotted. I also like the mindfulness tools.

Cons

I had a hard time keeping up with adding and taking away points. I also had a difficult time trying to keep track of weekly or monthly points and would just end up resetting the points.

I like it. It has not given me too many problems in my time of use.

Pros

I like this program because you can keep up with both of my children through the week and get a report on them for any time you would like. I love that it keeps me informed, but also, keeps my kids accountable for their actions.

Cons

I havent found too much that I do not like about this program. I do wonder if all the kids get an average for how their class was that day.

Class Dojo is such a great resource for tracking behavior. My students and parents love it!

Pros

I just started using class dojo this year, but I love it! It is easy to use on the iPad. I'm able to send photo and video updates to parents. I can update parents on how their student is behaving in my class. There is so much to love about this app! Before I felt like I would forget to share information with parents about their student at the end of the day, but with this app I can send updates whenever I want throughout the day.

Cons

I wish there was a way for students to see how many points they have when they're at home because they are always asking me "how many points do I have?" I wish I could link it with their other classes so their behavior can be tracked throughout the day in all of their classes.

Reason for choosing ClassDojo

I chose ClassDojo because I am working at an international school in Thailand and it is what the school provides for us.

Overall-I have not had issues with using ClassDojo, besides the additional feature I would like added that I mentioned above. ClassDojo provides me with not only communication tools, but tools I use in class as well, such as grouping, timers, and background music.

Pros

I love that I can quickly and easily communicate with all parents at once or just message one parent individually.

Cons

I wish I could upload albums of pictures to a separate section instead of a few pictures in a message.
