Pros

I love how easy this product is to use. It is a very great tool to communicate with parents as a messaging system without having to give out a phone number.

Cons

I do not like the message this software sends students. They are trained to listen for a ding to behave rather than the teacher.

Pros

Class Dojo allows you to connect teachers, students, and parents all together via an online program with a app, all for free! It has amazing features that allow teachers and students to share student behavior, work samples, videos, and chat personally.

Cons

We have had trouble getting students signed in and staying signed in.

Class Dojo is a pretty cool software, with a little bit of polishing it could be a pretty great software for schools and parents!

Pros

What I loved the most from this Software program is the ability to communicate directly with my kids teacher on her grades and behavior!

Cons

What I liked least is the lack of notification via email when a new message comes in.

This program is easy to stay connected with educators and kids progress. I love getting videos of my kids during the day so I know what they are learning and how they are behaving.

Communications to/from parents/teacher

Pros

graphics and simplicity. The menu options and features are limited - so it's simple to start using immediately.

Cons

Functionality limited - used for sending messages, pictures and videos to all or some parents and reporting on behavior - and parents messaging back to teachers . Usefulness is dependent on both users and customers discussing and understanding what features will be used ( and how to interpret input). Mostly used for messaging.

My child has been well behaved and on task because they want to earn "dojo bucks".

Pros

I like how this works as a behavioral reward for my child. If they are able to maintain a certain level of behavior in class they earn "dojo bucks" that they can redeem for rewards.

Cons

I wish the free version offered more options. It is somewhat limited and they require you to purchase a certain package to receive the added options.

My experience has been great with the app when I have used it and being able to communicate with the teacher whenever there is a concern.

Pros

I usually use Dojo to be able to communicate with the teachers regarding my children. Any questions or concerns I have it can be done through the app.

Cons

The app is pretty easy to use and navigate. I don't have anything that I dislike of the application.

Overall, this is an excellent communication tool for parents and teachers. During the pandemic and schools being closed, this was very easy to use!

Pros

This software is very user friendly! It took no time to learn how to navigate.

Cons

I think that sometimes there can be a delay when trying to communicate with the teacher.

Pros

Behavior management made simple. You can make it as involved as you want and customize points for the qualities/skills you want to reward.

Cons

I wish there was a way to make the behavior points more private. It could be considered a breach of privacy. Some have stated this program encourages extrinsic motivation.

The ease of use - an user can quickly download the software, and be comfortable using it very quickly after.

Cons

The software didn't give all of the options and reporting fields that one may want, but don't let that deter you, as the features you receive for "free" are outstanding!

Pros

The software, for me, is very user friendly. Interestingly enough, my child is able to navigate thru it with no problem. That's very important to us in that it gives him the since of independence.

Cons

In as much as it is use friendly for some, there seems to be a bit of a learning curve when it comes to deciphering the messages and materials, especially if the child has more than one teacher.

Overall my experience has been positive. I like the app and it seems helpful most of the time. I wish they wouldn't try and upsell me through my email inbox though.

Pros

I like the ability to get real time messages and pictures from my children's classes without it filling up my inbox.

Cons

Not all of my kids' teachers use this, and this means that I'm not able to streamline and use just one app.

Classdojo is a must. Its easy to use and not only does it keep my son connected with his teacher it also give a fun schedule for the entire family. From games to dancing, reading and even meditation for your little one.

Cons

I found classdojo to be very helpful. No cons for me.

My kids school uses this product as a communication platform between parent-teacher. I like it a lot. We can add as many kids and we can even send a private message to the teacher.

Cons

The notification is not consistent. Sometimes I don't get notified when there's a new post.

The thing I like the most about this software is that I get updates through out the day on what my children are doing, like pictures of them & their work. I also like how I can directly chat with the teacher as well with any concerns either of us have,

What I like the least is that you have to pay to see past dates after a certain time frame, also how I can't really navigate easy with switching my between my kids profiles.

I love it. We use it to track well over 50,000 students and communicate with parents. It's a great tool to use for in-person and virtual learning.

Pros

Allows teachers and school personnel to communicate with parents throughout the school day. Also allows parents and teachers to communicate regarding the child's assignments and behavior.

Cons

The platform is often used in several classrooms and may become confusing for parents with multiple children. The software is also eared toward younger students.

Pros

ClassDojo is interactive, visual and it promotes discussion between teacher and parents

Cons

This may seem like just another app on your smart phone, it is however worth having. Seeing images of your kids, their projects and progress makes you feel involved in their education.

Easy to use and a great idea for connecting parents to classrooms

Pros

I liked the ease of use for parents to be notified of the child's day and how it allowed the parent to remain connected to the classroom while encouraging the child throughout the day.

Cons

There could be added features to support mental health techs/therapists within the classroom setting. This could be a great way for parents and therapists to communicate how the child is doing in that respect as well.

We use ClassDojo with our children and we love it. It is very easy to use, Were able to communicate with the students and their families with no issues and its simple enough that the children are able to log on and see what's needed of them without much help

Cons

Its not really suitable for older children and there's no in app search option so if im trying to look for something I cant search for that specific thing.
