### "GrowthZone Feedback from an Established User"

My overall experience has been positive in both my role within my organization and the organization’s functioning as a whole. It has streamlined the billing process and is easy to navigate for our members. The event module has also been extremely helpful in planning our many programs throughout the year.

Pros

Our organization began using about three years ago. We use GrowthZone for membership management and event planning. Invoicing and payment processing are easy to navigate and both have saved us time and money. The donor and donation management have helped us grow and expand our outreach efforts. Overall, we are happy with the software.

Cons

Customer support is a little lacking. It can at times be hard to reach someone to find a solution for an issue. Tickets are created but follow up is hit or miss. It took over a year to solve a problem with the fundraising module.

Overall, our experience with has been very positive. It has helped us streamline membership, events, communications, and reporting in one place, which has made our operations more efficient. The support team has been a real highlight, especially during onboarding and ongoing use. They are responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in our success. While there are areas we would still like to see improved, particularly the look and feel and the community feature, it remains a valuable platform for our organization.

Pros

What I like most about is how supported we’ve felt from day one. It is a powerful all-in-one platform that helps us manage membership, events, communications, and reporting in one place, which has made our day-to-day work so much more streamlined. The onboarding experience really stood out. My onboarding coach, \[sensitive content hidden\], was the best. He was patient, responsive, and genuinely helpful, and he made what could have been a very overwhelming transition feel manageable and even enjoyable. That level of hands-on support set the tone for how we’ve experienced GrowthZone overall. I also really appreciate that the platform keeps improving. It feels like GrowthZone actually listens to its users and continues to refine and expand the system in ways that make a real difference for associations like ours.

Cons

What I like least about is mainly the user interface. While it is very functional and gets the job done, I do wish it looked a bit more modern and sleek. At times it feels a little dated compared to other platforms, especially on the visual side. I’ve also been somewhat disappointed with the community feature. It has not felt as intuitive or engaging as we had hoped, and it hasn’t quite become the active member space we envisioned when we launched it. With some refinement and improvements, I think it has potential, but right now it is not a standout part of the platform for us.

### "Some improvement, some regression"

Good when it works, but frustrating and time-consuming when I'm working with member submitted content or reports - most of my daily process.

Pros

Some added capabilities over ChamberMaster. Smoother integration, so far as it went. Ability to connect to two bank accounts so we can better separate our Foundation and Chamber funds.

Cons

The user interface needs a lot of work. In ChamberMaster the UI changed a little depending on what section you were using - different words to do the same thing - it was annoying, but it worked alright. In the UI has stepped back to the 2005-2010 era. When I'm editing and approving member submitted content (web content like Jobs, events) my text formatting tools scroll up, off the screen when I scroll further down the content window. Then I have to scroll down, select text, scroll up to make the change, scroll down to see whether the change I made is correct, scroll further down to edit more text, etc. And our users don't have access to any text editing tools to make their content look decent. None of this was broken in ChamberMaster, but it is broken in GrowthZone. That isn't right. The other significant issue I have is in Reports. Everything is labeled "Contact". It is difficult to tell if I'm working with individuals or organizations. We need, at the very least, more context clues, or maybe just call organizations "members," and individuals can be "contacts". As it is now, reports are unintuitive and difficult to use, let alone use effectively.

My overall experience with has been good. I really do like it — it’s a strong tool that helps keep things organized and makes managing members and events much smoother. While it takes a little time to learn all the features, once you get the hang of it, it really does make daily tasks easier and more efficient.

Pros

What I like best about is how it brings everything together in one place. It makes it so much easier to manage members, events, and communication without having to jump between different systems. I also appreciate the way it helps strengthen engagement with members — from tracking involvement to sending reminders and updates — it keeps everything streamlined and organized. Plus, the reporting and automation features save so much time, which lets us focus more on growing and serving our members instead of just managing data.

Cons

What I like least is that, because has so many features, it can sometimes feel a little overwhelming or take extra time to learn where everything is. There’s a learning curve, and occasionally the system feels a bit “too much” for smaller tasks. Some customizations also take a little extra work to get just right.

My overall experience with has been very positive. The platform brings together membership management, communications, billing and event tools in one place, which has saved our team time and reduced duplicated work. Once we got past the initial learning curve, the system proved to be reliable and efficient. I’ve also appreciated the responsiveness of the support team whenever questions came up. Although there are still areas that could be more intuitive or customizable, the software has helped streamline our operations and improve member engagement. Overall, GrowthZone has been a strong asset to our organization.

I liked how intuitive the interface was — it made managing member information so much easier and fast to learn

Cons

While offers many valuable features, the area I liked least was the learning curve for some of its more advanced tools. At times, the interface felt a bit cluttered, making it harder to quickly locate specific options or reports. Certain modules also seemed less intuitive and required additional training before my team felt comfortable using them. In addition, a few of the reporting features lacked the customization we needed to fully match our organization’s processes. These issues didn’t outweigh the benefits, but they did slow our adoption and required extra time to integrate GrowthZone into our workflow

Would recommend to others as we understand our poor experience onboarding was a one-off. Overall, we are happy.

Pros

The software itself is easy to use and fairly intuitive. It's helped us amalgamate our CRM database with our billing & payments. The support staff & tier 2 team are awesome and things have been getting faster and more responsive with the support team. I like that there are additional modules we can add on as our biz needs grow.

Cons

The staff member onboarding us, it was his last onboarding before he moved to a different dept and to say it was brutal would be an understatement. 2 yrs later and we are still correcting issues that the onboarding created. It has been a fight to get the software to meet our needs from day one - we didn't now what we didn't now and the deficient onboarding exacerbated the issues. We wish there was more easy-to-access support with the webpages.

really wants to put out a great product and meet its customers' needs; the initial conversion was pretty smooth. They are open to suggestions.

Pros

Great value for budget-minded small association; an off-the-shelf product with customization options that have worked well for our organization. Knowledge Base is very thorough - sometimes difficult to find just what you're looking for with all the information but once you do find it, the step by step graphics and instructions are great!

Cons

Customer service had declined for a while / tickets and support were taking quite a bit longer than we'd like, but that has been improved a lot since new management and commitment to serving its customers.

I would say me overall experience has been great. I think all companies should have this program. It's up to date on technology, fast and easy to use. If there is a problem, it gets resolved in a timely manager.

Pros

How fast and easy it is to work with. It comes with videos to show you things about Growth Zone. When I need help the IT teams helps right away and will go step by step to makes sure you know what's going on and resolve the issue.

I can honestly say I have don't have one bad to say about it. Maybe that you guys need to put yourself out there more so other companies are using this format so it can be easy one everyone. I didn't know about you guys

Very good. Onboarding and customer care are very good. Perhaps the most impressive thing about GZ from my perspective is that it is already apparent to me that they listen to their users, and that they are constantly making improvements and keeping users in the loop on what features and fixes are coming down the pipe.

Pros

Membership Management, Reporting, and user education are all features are all logically laid out. In fact, the whole environment is well designed with reporting being a key feature to provide additional metrics for an association.

Cons

There is a learning curve, but it is not insurmountable. As with anything, this software's users would benefit from more specific examples for their end users (i.e. Trade Association, Chamber, Real Estate, etc.) to help users understand how to leverage the power of the software to solve their problems for their use case.

### "Growthzone review"

Overall, it is good program with many features that work well together; however, it seems the program was designed by different committees and forced to work together. So far no one has been able to provide a map of terms & examples. See above.

Pros

What I like best is how membership management, event registration, and communications all work together to provide a record of member activity.

Cons

Support - When we used Memberzone customer support was much, much better. Now it is hard to get someone on the phone. Also, there is no consistency in terms. Some places Contact Name is a company, others it is an individual. This makes it hard to pull reports and get the desired results.

### "GZ is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition."

So far, minus the customer service issues, we have really enjoyed using GZ. It has increased our attendance for classes, events, and charity events.

Pros

It has most everything that an association AMS should have. Most areas are pretty easy to learn and set up, but there are a few areas that don't make sense in the setup.

Cons

The customer service is not up to par to the other programs and systems that we use on a daily basis.

### "Ease of Use"

Most all of my interactions with GZ have been really great. They are attentive and usually quick to respond. With th ecurrent MFA rollout, I am sure they are super busy. 2 out of 3 in the office are unable to get set up on the new verification system.

Pros

Security, membership management, user friendly. Customer service is usually really great. We are currently struggling with an error when setting up MFA for me and my AE

Cons

The ability to easily fix a mis post on invoices or payments. For the most part, I am satisfaied with the power of the system and its ability to track and disseminate through reporting a lot of detial! The HUB is great for our members, keeps them informed and allows for smooth transactions.

Overall it has been very positive. The onboarding and training resources are very valuable and I also appreciate the ongoing webinars to stay on top of the new and existing features that I might now be aware of.

Pros

I am a new user of . As I am delving into its features, I am becoming more and more impressed with the intuitiveness of the platform. Most of the things I wish to try and do within are all doable and very common sense to find and do.

Cons

The biggest disappointment for me is that it is not automatically linked to my Microsoft Outlook account. This would be a huge help as a feature down the road.

Great customer service when contacted, I think the good news is there is room to grow. I do wish there could be a little more user friendly features on the website building portion of it.

Pros

I like the directory, contact portion of it very much, it's clear and seems to have enough of the fields that we need and room to grow. I also like the payment portal is included. Certifications are a huge part of our business and that is there too.

Cons

Customer support is great, but hard to reach sometimes and I've waited up to 5 days on tickets. Sometimes what we are doing is more urgent and a response would be appreciated

The Chamber's experience is overall extremely positive. When I have questions through the Chat Box, all representatives are patient and helpful. They lead me through the steps when I need assistance. Their follow up is consistent as well.

Pros

The Customer Service is extremely patient and knowledgeable. When I first began this position, I had many questions with all the tabs, particularly the templates and billing. The customer service was always helpful and the wait time was not extremely long most times.

Cons

The learning curve was quite difficult at first, but to be fair, I didn't participate in many video trainings. Billing details were difficult for me to understand at first, but it is much easier now that I have had some experience.

Our chamber loves the reports, the event management, the ease of use of the smartplans and the invoicing. The support staff at the help desk is extremely helpful.

The struggle for our team was in the conversion. The amount of time was intense on team members and the direction could have been managed slightly different to achieve better progressive results for a timeline.

They really listen to our needs and tailor things so it fits us, instead of just giving a one-size-fits-all plan. The process feels organized but not overwhelming, and their energy makes it easy to stay excited about what’s ahead. So far, onboarding has been smooth, supportive, and even fun—we can already tell Growthzne is going to be a great partner for us moving forward!

We love the membership management capabilities and the one on one onboarding support we have received so far.

Cons

I would love if it integrated with a print on demand company to be able to use for the storefront to create non dues revenue.

10/10, easy to learn and everything is pretty great at self explaining itself. The tutorials are great and there is always seminars that pop up to enhance your experience for members.

Pros

How easy and secure it is the connect with members. Events are a breeze to set up and have and easy way for people to pay online than them taking the time to send in checks. Checks are an option too which is just as easy to process. Donations and sponsors are so easy to set up for events and more and makes a huge difference.

Cons

I haven't ran into cons yet, very easy to navigate. If I had to even name a con maybe some shorter shortcuts when creating an event.

I appreciate 's patience with my lack of knowledge in the technology world. Our board is not large enough to have a technology dept so I have to be able to do all of the skills. GrowthZone has helped with this.

Pros

I am able to ask for online chat help and a real person will help me via chat. That person will send images of step by step directions to fix my problem.

Cons

Emailing a question is not as fast as chatting with someone. Sometimes, my issue happens after hours, but then I chat the next day and it gets fixed.

is great! All and all this has been a been upgrade for my company and working with growth zone has been good.

Pros

Megan Help! She is so great and has truly helped my team expand our knowledge of the system. Very thankful for her help through our billing cycle.

Cons

Some of the systems are hard to learn or unable to adjust to my needs. For example when a card is declined I am unable to change the card number and this stops me in my tracks.

Cons

So far everything has been easy. There is always a process when moving to a new system but customer support has helped us with the changes.
