Pros

Love the option to split messages into different threads. This is primarily what I use it for. Very easy to see where each contact is in the pipeline. Very easy to set up customization.

Cons

Dislike the random things that Streak assigns as contact names. Would like to be able to assign contacts by email address so their messages are automatically tagged.

### "The only tool we could find that worked for our Customer Success team"

All in all, it has been a great tool for our customer success teams. I would highly recommend for other customer success teams. Not for a true outbound sales team however.

Pros

Most CRMs suffer from a pretty fatal flaw. They provided a lot of support for following and closing an initial prospect, but they do very little (if anything at all) for supporting current customers and following them through the upsell process. Then there are customer success tools. Those tools are usually super expensive and do not have any real CRM features. Streak was LITERALLY the only tool we could find that did both well. It allows you to create a CRM pipeline, and then map it to another pipeline where you can track project management for different customers.

Cons

The biggest con of streak is that if someone leaves your company you have to keep their email address alive. Otherwise, all tagged emails go away.

This is what I liked most about Streak: 1) The ability to snooze an email as you are writing it 2) A simple and functional sales pipeline 3) I was able to create tasks 4) I was able to do email tracking, enabling me to know if a client has viewed my email

Cons

1) I feel like the reporting capabilities of Streak could be better 2) Though there is a free version for personal use, I fee like the professional and enterprise versions are a bit more pricey compared to similar products in the market

Cons

I wish it was easier to assign new emails to the lead in the pipeline. The software should be able to automatically recognize the email address and add that unique email into the lead's box rather than having to do it manually (and without utlizing that email filter). Although it only takes a few minutes a day, it's still something that should be super easy to implement.

It was a great tool to follow the product implementation down a pipeline. We used it to make sure all of us were aware where we were with integration at a certain property. It was a nice thing to have, but with all the issues with service availability and constant badgering to install it for other accounts it sometimes became tedious.

Pros

It is built in to Gmail - you open your inbox and you're up and ready to work.

Cons

It loads. Most of the time. Sometimes it takes forever. They were often experiencing difficulties and Streak could not be accessed. It also constantly bugged me to install Streak for all accounts, even though only one Gmail account had access to it.

Reason for choosing Streak

The sales were in love with Streak and how it integrates with Gmail. That was the main reason it was chosen over the competitors. Secondary reason was somewhat lower price.

We have not had to use additional tools for notation. It's really great having all information in one location.

Pros

I love that we as a team can track our workflow from our inbox. It cuts down on miscommunications therefore increasing productivity. Also, being able to customize our pipeline means we can pick a column structure that allows us to be able to jot down all necessary details in the boxes.

Cons

I have no least favorite feature especially because it has been so easy to teach our team to use Streak.

Immediate visibility on leads and lead progression. Almost instant setup. Immediate, natural integration with our email system without forcing us to use a clunky email interface.

Pros

Streak is easy to set up and creates a highly visual, colorful pipeline that inspires you to take action. Fillin in details is super-simple and intuitive it mostly happens in a single grid on one page. However, you can drill down when needed. Its full integration with Gmail allows teams to use other tools like Boomerang and Evercontact. The free version of Streak is great for a single person getting started.

Cons

The price jump from free to paid is a big step. Would love to see an intermediate step for smaller clients who want to come on board with team members.

I am familiar with CRM applications and this one confused me at first. Was not certain how to use it. Now I use this for CRM, management of minor projects, contact/email tracking, small group discussion threads and so on.

Pros

Versatile and after you learn the basics it can be adapted to many different purposes. Several built-in templates to help get you started.

Cons

Difficult to understand at first. I suppose the developers rely on the templates and bits of contextual help to get you going.

You'll get rich CRM features in your Gmail (from columns on email, phone number, and the usual info to more nuanced categories like anniversaries and birthdays), and the small business owner who is already strapped for mental hard drive space doesn't need another app to log into. I love what Streak offers in its freemium service, and I even recommend it to my fellow video producers in my blog. It's my preferred CRM - keep it up!

Pros

The best thing going for Streak is its painless integration with Gmail. On top of that, the freemium model gives the small business owner a plethora of features, on the house. When you're bootstrapping your business, use Streak for your CRM.

Cons

The ability to write notes based on dates (e.g. did I call on the 2nd and then send a mailer 3 days later) is really shortsighted. When I was using Streak in 2016 and 2017, the only option was a generic notes field which could fill up very quickly.

Pros

Streak has an excellent set of free features. Basically it provides a full-blown CRM as a GMail plugin, and it's incredibly convenient to use! Along with the CRM capabilities, Streak offers a free email tracker (you can see when your email was read and how many times) and email templates. All this is perfect for a free product used by a single person.

Cons

I think it gets a bit pricey for a team and I didn't like how some non-free features are included in the user interface so that you're led to click on them and see the "this is only available in the premium version" message.

Streak was added to our Gmail as a test to see how we could consolidate our apps to make it easier for training. Our office runs on Google Apps so anything that works within the apps arena is great for us. Currently, I would say streak is an essential part of our team communication. We use it in all aspects of our office. Hiring to lead distribution, invoicing and client updates. It's easy enough for a small or home based business to have an efficient app running the show while larger companies can easily scale and grow in to new features. A favorite feature for me is the ability to use natural language to set up reminders. I can simply tell Streak to remind me to call a client "a year from now" and it will set a calender reminder and link to the clients information. The ability to add to our Streak from Typeform and other great services using Zapier, has really made it invaluable. Our office automation has risen to the next level and then some.

Pros

Easy set-up. One click install. Templates get a first time user up and running in no time. Seriously.10 Minutes. Nice interface. Very colorful and inviting to use. Not overwhelming. API means a lot of connections to other great app platforms.

Cons

For the new user, the calculation/formula tools can be daunting. There is a great faq page and the staff is very responsive.

I used it mostly to track emails and most if it was pretty straightforward. It's great for managing outreach.

Pros

I primarily used Streak because I wanted to know if my recipients were opening my emails and when. You can easily insert screenshots and dcocuments easily. It's also very easy to add it on in Gmail and turn it into a CRM.

Cons

I can't find anything wrong with it as I was using it to manage very low-volume emails and contacts. It works great.

I wish it has an integration with our email platforms such as Hotmail since some of our team member use different email services.

Streak provides excellent features to track down every email that you are sending and receiving. It helps to let you know the opening time and actions that performed on your email. Streak also provide full integration support with Google Chrome browser.

Cons

Sometimes sync takes a bit long to get completed. Streak CRM standard package has few features and for the advanced features, you have to pay some bucks

Streak integrate seamless in your gmail and is just up to you to decide how deeply use it in your daily routine as a sales manager but also as press officer or any job that involve contacting many people and converting leads in clients or action. You can simply use the mail merge function in few click, or the addicting notify about who where and when has seen your email, so you can manage rational followups. Super easy import export from google sheet so in minutes you can have a draft of a database and import it to sens merge mail with personalization...and many other amazing features that anyway never make the system complex: you just remain on your gmail, sharing contacts, prospects and all useful information and marketing "to does" like alert recall follow up and snippet of your sales email with the entire team. Excellent free version but absolutely worth payed version.

Cons

Maybe is my fault but a better integration or sync between gmail contact and pipeline's persons is possibile

It's easy to manage client contacts, deals and sales pipelines right where these transactions live - in Gmail.

Pros

With Streak, everything is integrated into Gmail - everything. Without bloating the interface, the browser extension and permissions grant you access to customizable sales pipelines, deals and contacts management, and email tracking all associable with the client emails in your inbox. This can really improve your workflow if you're most comfortable working exclusively in Gmail. One feature I really appreciate is the mail merge tools, which pairs perfectly with the customizable sales pipelines and email tracking.

Cons

Parts of the interface can be misleading as to what is included in the free version - I frequently run into a hard paywall when trying to access some links beneath my sales funnels. Ideally those options would be hidden but this is a minor issue considering that the essential features are all there.

Pros

I was on the hunt for a Gmail plugin that could tell me if an email was opened or not. That's really all I was after. I found Streak, and I began using it because of the email open tracking. It works pretty great. It's very helpful from a business and sales point of view to have that email feature. It alerts me if somebody has viewed what I sent them.

Cons

Streak does have a bunch of other tools, but I haven't really found value in them, and I seem to get notified left and right all the time about re-signing in, and new notifications for things that I'm not really interested in. I wish that I could simplify it and just express interest in what I want, and forget the rest. It's possible I'm just the wrong user that they're trying to go after.

Easy e-mail tracking and customer/project tracking right from my Gmail inbox.

Pros

I love that this is integrated with my Gmail inbox so I don't have yet another screen open on my computer and have to remember yet another login. It is easy to sort, add notes and track everything using the Chrome extension. The new add-on for Gsuite is ok but very limited in features. There are mobile apps that are nice but so far you need to be using it in Chrome to get the full features. I found customer service to be friendly and quick to reply.

Cons

I don't like being limited to using Chrome, while this is my favorite browser, I had some problems with it recently and I had to use another browser for a week, this meant that during this period I was limited to the GSuite add ons and mobile apps which don't have the full features that the Chrome extension does. I would love to see an extension for Edge or simply expand the apps to tap into all of the features.

From a sales person's perspective, it is great to see instantly when someone has read your email and how many times they have opened it.

Pros

The extension is very easy to set up. I haven't used all the Streak features yet, as I mainly wanted it to see who had read my emails so I would know how to position my follow up phone call and when to make it. Once this software is installed it just sits there and I don't have to update it constantly. I like the ease of seeing at a glance who has read my emails and the instant notification is also help.

Cons

I have occasionally found when calling prospects they have said they did read the email but Streak tells me otherwise. I am not sure if this is a white lie from recipients or if the extension doesn't pick up all mail boxes.

Pros

First, it is intuitive. It works with your Gmail account, so the leads naturally flow from your inbox to your CRM. It's always available. I have had my Operations Manager object to other CRM's and refuse to use it. This one he smiled and loved. You know what's happening with each case with a glance. Marvelous.

Cons

I haven't needed to use their customer service so I can't speak to it. As with all programs, the more features the more difficult it is to learn. This program you get right after you download. There's very little not to like.
