The fact that the feedback was anonymous ensured that it received brutally frank feedback and the response was more in our leadership development programs. Cons There are no topics assigned to the domain and there is no advanced searching where one can type in certain keywords. Pros It's free for individuals; user-friendly interface (layout, white space, etc.) Cons \* Will raters receive marketing emails from SelfStir? - No information provided about this important question. \* Online customer forum has only 26 posts since 2016. \* You cannot preview the emails that will be sent to your raters. \* If you send one survey to your boss ("management"), their completed survey is marked as a "manager" response. We do specify in our Terms of Service that rater information will NEVER be used for any purposes other than sending out the survey invitation and possibly a reminder, if you wish, which can be used only once a week. Of course, if you personally wish to receive any updates from us there is a place in your profile area where you can opt-in, but this is not pre-selected and as long as you don't select it, you will never hear from us. We are a company driven by a mission, and we work and live by extremely high values. In fact, the platform that you used is not a free trial, it is an absolutely free service that we provide because we believe in Leadership. Our business platform is a paid service used by some of the leading organizations and universities, which helps offset the costs of providing the free service for individuals. The feedback got from different roles in a team allowed me identify patterns that relate to leadership competencies that I emphasized on. Cons I had one issue with exporting survey reports. The peer and manager feedback modules helped to create leadership standards, and the journal feature provided an effective means of reviewing performance recommendations. Cons One of the issues I observed was that the action plan tracking was not very informative on the progress with the goals. Rather than using an external company to do it from A to Z for us, through SelfStir we have been able, in a much easier and cheaper way, to customize the platform with our own Competence Model, to upload a custom survey and to generate the related assessment reports by ourselves. Pros Functionalities, ease of use and power of the tool. Cons Sometimes the screen scroll up after a selection is made in a menu or a data is inserted. This obliges to scroll down before going ahead.
