“good tool for IT service management”

OverallGood tool for service management and visibility into VMware environment.
ProsThis tool provides a good workflow tool to establish service catalog and service process in a data center/cloud environment for physical and virtual machines. One can get started quickly with is tool and needless to say it works well in a VMware environment. It provides visibility into the entire Vmware environment as well.
ConsI wish this came with a way to track the various licenses being used in the data center as this would have made the solution more comprehensive and made audit of licenses possible as well. We now have another tool to track software licenses.

“VMware rules”

Overallits a really good software to manage resources network and hardware, it shows you even the processor and ram comsumtion in real time and you can adjust them in real time.
Prosthis amazing software can give you the absolute control in you network it provide a really good set of tools for monitoring network and server using virtual machines
Consi just dont quit any funtion of this software its just perfect for me.

“Good for any business”

ProsAll around a great application which allows remote access and tracking of various IT issues.
ConsComplex to use for the average user, but then again, the average user won't necessarily be using it.

“Awesome Product”

OverallGREAT! I can not complain. IT always seems to be able to resolve any issue that comes up for remote reps quickly.
ProsWe use this product daily and it is awesome it really makes connecting all of our remote users onto the server an ease.
ConsIt still has some glitches being that our team is remote. But we have not been able to pin point those issue to solely VMWARE

“Overall great but sometimes difficult to log into”

ProsGreat to use on any computer, even a mobile phone if needed
ConsSometimes it's a little finicky and signing on requires multiple attempts/ restarting google chrome

“For any business size”

OverallIs not the first thing in the mind of my customers, however, it's a good product. Developed by VMware.
ProsPros: - The software can be deployed for any business size. - "Service catalog and workflow engine" of VMware Service Manager standardizes the provisioning and tracking processes. - Can be used out of the box for a multiple types of businesses. This is important for me as a Consultant. - Most companies are using other software, third party software besides VMWare and they need to be connected. VMware Server Manager has connectors for them.
ConsA little limited because you need another software to audit and tack software licenses. However, price is very attractive.

“VM Ware is a Life Saver”

OverallI have successfully used VMWare in a Healthcare/Hospital setting. We are a large system and being able to log into my desk top let alone the HUGE hospital system from a remote setting is fantastic. It always works.
ProsIt is very easy to log in for remote access.
ConsSome times it may take a little extra time to load.
