### "All in one Communication app"

December 26, 2025

5.0

My overall experience is great! I really do enjoy this app. It is one of those apps where it simply integrates all forms of communication into one app in a seamless and modern fashion.

Pros

The largest overarching feature is its communication features. The application allows for the user to call, receive calls, track calls, transfer calls, save contacts and even block contacts. In itself it is great, but it excels in multiple user environments (like firms or offices). This allows for multiple calls to be received, communicated with and monitored. I also am pleased with the meeting like options; it integrates other popular features (such as scheduling or texting) in one app.

Cons

My least favorite feature by far is the bugs. I am currently struggling with my ring app not obeying my ring tone preferences. I also have experienced at times the ring not notifying me of calls on my screen (which is a great feature as well).

### "RingCentral Meetings Review"

December 16, 2019

5.0

My overall experience with RingCentral Meetings is great! I love to use Ringcentral at my work. Our company has many telecommuters, and we heavily rely on RingCentral for our daily work. It's so convenient to meet via RingCentral with colleagues from New York, DC, and Boston offices to work on the same project.

Pros

I've been using RingCentral every day since I joined my company. What I like most about this software is that I can join anywhere in the meetings with my cellphone and share my screen easily with my colleagues.

Cons

What I like least about this software is that sometimes I got kicked out of the meetings and re-joined multiple times when the internet was not stable.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing RingCentral Video

I guess we chose RingCentral meetings because of its video features. It works great especially during large meetings. You know who is speaking because the speaker's name appears on the screen. Also, it is easy for the admin to mute and unmute the participants.

### "Overall I like it"

November 13, 2025

3.0

Overall, RingCentral Video is a good platform for everyday business meetings, especially if you’re already using other RingCentral services. It’s straightforward to deploy and works well for most teams. However, occasional performance issues and less-responsive support can be frustrating at times. With a few refinements in reliability and interface design, it could easily compete with the top video-conferencing platforms.

Pros

RingCentral Video is easy to use and integrates smoothly with other tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. The setup process is quick, and meetings are simple to join and manage. The video and audio quality are generally reliable on a good network, and it includes helpful features such as screen sharing, recording, and analytics for administrators. It’s convenient having video, phone, and messaging in one unified platform.

Cons

Performance can be inconsistent—video sometimes freezes or drops when network conditions aren’t ideal. The interface isn’t as polished as competitors like Zoom or Teams, and a few advanced features feel underdeveloped. Customer support can also be slow to respond, and pricing may feel high compared to similar tools.

### "Daily use app for calls and videocalls"

February 12, 2026

5.0

I use the app on a daily basis and belive its an amazingly helpfull tool. The video conference calls are clear, costumer service is excellent, and everything is secure.

Pros

The product is exceptional, works well anywhere and always great reception. Clear messaging, audio and image. Value for the money is amazing

Cons

The program could use some configuration updating, for example on imaging and additional modern features.

### "Great for video and audio calls"

November 3, 2025

5.0

Overall experience has been great. It is comprehensive in terms of features and has high video and audio quality. It is easy to use for meetings in general and helps us to drive more sales within our organization.

Pros

RingCentral is easy to use and provides great quality video and audio. It also has integrations with Salesforce that allow us to streamline our sales efforts. We can also use its integration with Outlook to easily schedule meetings and follow-ups.

Cons

The interface in the RingCentral app can be clunky at times, but when you are used to using it, it is simple and easy to navigate. No issues, just could "look" better.

### "RingCentral Video: Unstable, Unreliable, and a Complete Disappointment"

February 27, 2025

1.0

RC Video was incredibly frustrating to use. We quit immediately and moved video and chat to Teams as a result of RC's move to Video. We felt lied to through the Sales process, no one disclosing that the partnership with Zoom was coming to an end.

Pros

Honestly. If I'm 100% honest. Absolutely nothing.

Cons

We moved to RingCentral during the pandemic. When we joined, we were promised the ability to use RingCentral Meetings, a white label zoom. This is one of the main reasons we moved to RingCentral, was the stability and reliability of Zoom, while also having the contact center. RC Video is the most unstable platform I've ever used. It never got better. Low quality audio, low quality video. Constantly dropping.

Reason for choosing RingCentral Video

We wanted in all in one solution. Phone, texting, faxing, chatting, and video.

The whole org was not yet on Zoom, but many of our users were and we were looking for an all in one platform. We promised RingCentral Meetings, the white label Zoom product, and were lied to about its longevity. We were stuck with RC Video instead and thoroughly regretted our choice.

### "Not a big fan"

March 2, 2021

2.0

Everyone knows Zoom, so RingCentral bundling that product with their VoIP services seems like a deal. It isn't in my opinion. The RingCentral client is clunky and has constant updates that need applied. They are replacing this with another internal tool, but, unless you have no other options, this would not be a top pick.

Pros

This comes bundled with VoIP subscriptions with RingCentral, it's Zoom - rebranded and with fewer features

Cons

Your participants must install a RingCentral Meetings client. Web participants have no features. Not an easy to use tool like Meet or Zoom. If all of your participants are using the same solution, then it isn't as frustrating. However, most people in the world prefer to use more common apps, and don't want to

Was introduced as a "zoom" resold as RingCentral meetings. After about a year of frustration and forcing external participants to use an app they weren't comfortable with, we went back to Zoom and Google Meet.

### "Reliable choice for seamless meetings"

October 3, 2025

4.0

Using RingCentral has been quite good overall. They delivers high quality video and audio, which makes our meetings smooth and effective. Setting up/joining meetings is straightforward as well as it has good integration with other tool.

Pros

They do have a quite good of robust features we need to set up meetings with the video quality. Also, the platform integrates smoothly with other tools we use.

Cons

I do not have any dislike of RingCentral Video. Just sometime little bit of glitch or connectivity issues on meetings but it happened very rarely. It could be issue from my side though.

Pros

What I like most about ring central is it rarely ever runs into technology issues. C Video conferencing as well as meetings are very easy. Customer service is also quick with response.

I cannot think of anything at this time that I dislike about RingCentral. It helped our company connect and communicate.

It's very easy to use and navigate, all employees can reach out to each other using this via chat or video.

Pros

Very helpful for larger companies. Everyone can connect with video or chat!

Cons

Occasionally have issues with hearing each other but I believe that has more to do with the internet connection.

### " Glip is the most effective productivity tool I've ever used to date (despite its shortcomings)."

September 13, 2017

4.0

See review.

Pros

Glip is an \[almost\] all-in-one, \[almost\] unified productivity tool takes a bunch of what I liked about Asana's task-management, and combines it with the instant messaging functionality of Slack. Glip makes team communication, collaboration, and task/project management as simple as instant messaging. Whereas Asana begins and revolves around task-management, Glip begins with conversation, which is a much more organic way to collaborate, I think. Glip excels in its instant messaging, which does more than just the usual chat. In addition to allowing users to easily communicate with their teams and co-workers, Glip's desktop app allows you to create and assign tasks, create and share (and annotate) notes and documents, schedule events, and attach files from your preferred cloud service...all through its instant messenger. Pretty snazzy. The mobile app is a significantly paired-down version of the desktop app, but again, it excels at instant messaging - very response, keeps you connected to your teams...just with less functionality. Overall, I definitely recommend Glip.

Cons

While there are a few things here and there that need to be addressed, it's Glip's calendar that hurts the experience for me. To put it simply - Glip's calendar is inadequate. More specifically, the calendar fails in its ability to effectively schedule recurring tasks and events. While it does allow for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly scheduling, it does not allow for more specific intervals. For example, our organization has an evening staff meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of every month - we can't schedule it Glip. As much as I want to use the Glip calendar personally, it's shortcomings force me to use the ever-faithful Google Calendar...which means, it's not really an all-in-one solution (which is supposed to be Glip's hook!). My suggestion to the Glip team is to look at what Google Calendar does as far as scheduling is concerned and copy it! As far as the mobile experience is concerned, my two biggest gripes are 1) the 7-day calendar (seriously, why?); and 2) the inability to sort/filter tasks. Aside from the above, it's just ok. As mentioned previously, it's definitely not as full-featured as the desktop app...but, since instant messaging is Glip's primary function, it does that trick just fine.

### "Great product. Powered by Zoom"

August 31, 2021

5.0

It allows our hybrid workforce to connect whether on the road, in office, or at home. I'm not sure how we functioned without this for so long!

Pros

We have been using Ring Central for several years. It was not until the pandemic that we really began leaning in to the video meeting capabilities though. The software is easy to learn and intuitive. As long as your network is stable, the software is too.

Cons

I wish there were more options to edit recorded meetings or stitch recorded calls together for training purposes. I realize the software was designed for meetings and collaboration, but we have begun using the software to create training modules.

### "Classic, Not Fancy, Dependable Video Conference/Webinar/Online Meeting Platform"

February 28, 2023

5.0

Pros

It accommodates a large number of attendees and has a less busy interface during presentations. For example, the chat box/questions features do not take up as much space as they do on other platforms. It is dependable- I've never had a connection issue with RingCentral vide.

Cons

It doesn't have the pizazz of its competitors, so you risk looking outdated if you invite people to a RingCentral conference. Also, since it's not frequently used across a wide range of platforms, invitees may have to download the app/software to use it the first time. I have also had it not load when I've needed it, and had to uninstall and reinstall it.

I work with some fine tools in my line of work and this is a great tool for success and growth

Pros

Just being able to get the full depth of learning as in class while being able to be at a convenient remote location is amazing

Cons

It's a litte bit of a work around for larger groups like my class group of 30 we have to be separated into groups of 10 then added to a bigger conference

### "File sharing, video conferencing, task assignment and group messaging; all for free with RingCentral."

November 1, 2017

5.0

Pros

Everyone in our office uses Glip because it's bundled with RingCentral and that's our unified communications solution. File sharing, starting calls or video meetings, creating and assigning tasks, groups of as many or few team members as you need - I don't know if there's anything groundbreaking here, but it is all included in one app, it IS all essential, and if you're a RingCentral customer it's 100% free.

Cons

My preference would be for synchronization between Glip's calendar and Google's to be a two way street. But although you can upload your Google calendar to Glip, the extra functionality within Glip prohibits updates there from syncing back to Google.

### "RingCentral review"

October 19, 2018

Overall, excellent software. Would recommend for all my teleconferences.

Pros

Expensive software, but by far, my favorite to use. It’s a simple interface and pretty easy to call in from anywhere. You can even put up presentations for people to see. This is another popular software that my sponsors like to use, besides WebEx. I would not have any problems with firewalls or internet security.

Cons

Haven’t had any problems with it so far.

### "Love this team messaging software"

Pros

This is my go-to messaging software for teams. Not only is there a free version that you can use, it also has a calendar, notes, gifs, video conferencing and task management built right in. A great all-in-one team collaboration tool.

Cons

It can be difficult to navigate and learn at first, but once you have the hang of it is a daily tool to help you manage your day and communicate with your team.

### "The latest combined design change is great"

February 9, 2021

5.0

There is so much more communication within our HR team now.

Pros

I love that they combined the different apps into one easy one. Now I can fax, text, message/glip, and do meetings, etc. all in one place. Also, the fax option literally works 100 times better than our actual fax machine! So easy! And the sidebar on the right allows you to pin pieces of conversations and saves all shared images. Plus, you can search back through all conversations with a keyword or phrase which has really come in handy. Plus in the video meetings, there is a setting that makes you look like you have a filter on! Great for those days you aren't feeling 100%!

Cons

I think the settings for call handling could be more user-friendly, and the actual phone system setup for quick dial people could be as well.

### "Easy to use with other companies - Simple and straightforward. "

December 4, 2019

4.0

We have been able to join Webinars from all over and have seemless meetings with different companies who have different software than we normally use within the company. This also lets us schedule times and keep appointments.

Pros

This is something we see a lot with other companies doing a teleconference with us. They send us the link through RingCentral and we follow easy instructions to get into the webinar and then it works well. The fact that it syncs with the Microsoft Outlook calendar is useful as well! There aren't too many features so it's simple enough to learn and use without having any previous experience with it. Simple and straightforward. Easy to use!

Cons

The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't feel familiar. A lot of programs, although you've never seen them before feel more intuitive and familiar to use. This doesn't have that. It's very easy to use and integrate, but the FEEL is more utilitarian than what most users like.

### "GLIP Social Workspace"

October 18, 2018

5.0

Pros

Being able to organize your workflow and collaborate with colleagues makes GLIP a phenomenal tool to boost office productivity. The new integration with Ringcentral's phone system makes it a single spot for your communications, helping to alleviate needing multiple tabs running different applications.

Cons

It can be a little difficult to navigate and is not the most intuitive design, but once you learn the layout it becomes second nature. There definitely is a learning curve that some employees may resist.

### "RingCentral Video Great For Virtual Communication! "

October 7, 2021

5.0

Pros

Great tool. Combines all that a virtual worker needs! Great video features and screen sharing features as well! Love the ability to schedule a meeting and add it to your calendar as well as send invites to those that need to be in the meeting. RingCentral mobile app gives you 24/7 access anywhere you have an internet connection! Having this program on your mobile device is great because you can get up from your computer and know that you can answer calls from anywhere at anytime!

Cons

RingCentral is a great tool. Sometimes the video freezes. If that happens our users just turn off the video and its seems to work great after that. This rarely happens!

### "Ring Central Glip Review"

April 5, 2019

5.0

A great benefit of Glip is the abilty to create tasks for the day, the phone system is amazing, and the chat, too!

Pros

My co-workers and I LOVE glip. I specifically use Glip everyday for daily tasks and phone calls. I use to use a notebook and would make a list everyday of what needed to be done. Now, I simply create tasks as they day goes on. Glip allows me to color coordinate each task and it crosses it off when I am done without deleting it so I can see what I have accomplished. The phone aspect is very smooth and the audio is great. Very simple and easy to use.

Cons

One downfall about the phone is transferring a call. When you cold transfer, the call on hold is then received by the person it is being transferred to. However, when you warm call and speak to the person you are sending the call to and then transfer, it does not go through. I am not sure if it is something on our end. But it would be nice to be able to speak with the other co-worker first before transferring the call.
