quickly keep track of inventory, check the schedules, use anywhere there is a reliable internet connection- I've been on vacation and been able to help staff answer questions and complete records. Its a reliable work horse.

Pros

The ease of use in record taking- with training and familiarity, it became second nature within a few days. Its even better once patient's return for their repeat exams in subsequent years. I'll use the phrase, "How did I get along before this?" I love how much more complete I can make the record- recording even more detail than I did with paper records. I highly recommend this product, but, its going to cost you.

Cons

The inability to easily take a previous report (for eg. Diabetic reports to physicians), transfer it forward and just modify the date and few particulars. Also, the inability to easily reorder the same contact lenses, but with the updated rx- the current system requires the entire order to be started from scratch again. The drawing feature is unwieldy.

Our overall experience with RevolutionEHR is super positive! It makes scheduling, charting, contact and glasses ordering, finances, and pretty much everything in our office super simple and organized!

Pros

Revolution EHR keeps our orders for glasses and contact lenses very organized, making it easy to refer back to old orders if need be. There are options for notes, measurements, tracking numbers, shipping locations, and so much more! Additionally, RevEHR allows me to easily keep track of all the glasses we have in stock and what we have sold recently. This is extremely useful for ordering new stock when reps visit the office. Optical operations run smoothly in our office because of Rev!

Cons

The only thing I don't love in Rev is that I cannot add some of the glasses option drop downs without using the "change" button. That is only frustrating because then I have to mark the charges again as non-billable.

I'm frustrated by the increasing number of price increases and lack of improvements to the core product. There seems to be no shortage of add on paid services that no user asks for. I really think its the best of the worst EHRs, but it could dominate the market for optometry with just a dozen or so coding fixes that could not be that time consuming.

Pros

Cloud accessability is great, software is pretty snappy since switching to HTML.

Cons

There has been zero doctor requested improvements since I've had the software. There is still an inefficient number of clicks, screens, and poor layouts that must be slogged through on nearly every encounter.

Very good! User-friendly system helps new staff members transition smoothly. Our daily interaction with our biller is the highlight!

Pros

The staff at the Eye Center of the Dakotas would like to give a shout-out to our amazing RevCycle biller, \[sensitive content hidden\] ! Many thanks for the wonderful person she is and the great work she does to keep us running smoothly with all things billing. We saw the opportunity to send a story or share, but weren't sure how to respond. Hoping this gets to where it needs to go!

Cons

Really no concerns other than the occasional downtime when the system fails. Pop-up windows that appear in the upper right corner frequently cover other info, a bit cumbersome to navigate.

The ease of using RevEHR has streamlined our practice flow. From patient demographics and scheduling to charting to billing, the flow is easy and efficient.

Pros

RevEHR is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Even at our fast-paced front desk, our staff is able to easily navigate through multiple workflows to get our patients scheduled in accurately and easily.

Cons

Submitting claims through our clearinghouse can sometimes have hiccups, but those seem to be caught and fixed quickly.

I think the value is great and it’s a very secure site. It’s extremely easy to bill insurance and also communicate what’s needed to patient’s. The customer support is also very easy to work with.

Pros

I love that the site is so fast and easy to use. It makes it easy to manage scheduling and everything we need about patients. It’s the best site for optical practice!

Cons

The only thing I don’t like is sometimes it can be slow but most of the time it works great! I love that it’s beginner friendly.

Pros

Overall, a good product. Like any technology it has it its issues. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Cons

Too many clicks of the mouse, some improvements are slow coming.

Pros

RevEHR is on the cutting-edge of incorporating software enhancements that will eventually facilitate better clinic flow for both doctors and patients. I'm grateful for the innovation that RevEHR is achieving.

Cons

No "Cons" per say. Rather, just hope the great Customer Service Rep team continues to get scheduled enough workers, so they can help clients efficiently. Secondarily, I want EyeMed Assignment & VSP to accept Electronic Billing from RevClear. It's quite asinine and antiquated that Luxottica is blocking this capability & much-need revision for RevClear. I think RevolutionEHR should push for an immediate correction/allowance.

At the time (about 10 years ago) it seemed like a forward facing, OD owned, company that was interested in becoming a best of breed EHR with a patient portal as a central component.

Pros

Revolution EHR is very user friendly compared to so many other EHR's that I have used. It's rare that we have glitches in performance, and whenever there are issues, Revolution's team is quick to fix it. The other thing I have always appreciated, is that they are constantly making improvements to their product, and they listen to their customers about changes or add-ons they would like to see.

Cons

Can't think of anything off the top of my head. Any issues I ever think of are very minimal and I soon forget them anyway.

Pros

Very much customizable and easy to use. Always on top of if something has gone awry with any part of the system and will update users. Always resolves issues as quickly as possible

Cons

It would be nice to have more of a training on how to utilize revolutionEHR to its full extent with an actual person rather than just the videos, especially at set up, then through out the years maybe once/twice a year.

Pros

I find the program is easy to set up and use, feature rich, guides the Dr recording to ensure correct documentation for medical care and coding for those encounters, this fact has created Dr confidence and enabled our office to increase medical billing - that more than pays for the monthly fee, its updated for free and web based is an asset for any practitioner with multi locations , help is just outstanding , my technicians find it easy to use and we do experience tech turnover so ease of use is important, lots of business partners to help communicate to your patients , survey and recall, great communication tools for patient and their health care providers

Cons

I am an OD so I wish there was a lower monthly fee and it was easier to get all my pre test data into the program. But the most irritating thing is I cannot let my techs to start the record days ahead of the visit- this is something I would like to be changed-- this is so pre work of insurance, demographics and health HX & meds could be entered well before the encounter in less of a rush so when the encounter is present the day of the visit - patient processing is quicker and less tech duress improving the entire encounter experience - no one likes to wait for the receptionist or techs gather data - but REV forces that because we cannot open a case before the encounter date/time- can you fix that ??

It has been a great experience. My implementation specialist, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], was (and continues) to be an excellent resource. Not only was she there to walk me through every step with detailed instructions. She made sure I was prepared to use the system. Additionally, if any questions came up later she directed me in the right direction promptly. Not only was she an expert with the system and the industry, what set her apart was her compassion, patience, and excellent service.

Pros

Love the partnerships available to integrate with the software & the ease to allow them to integrate. Additionally, patient scheduling, adding insurance, and charting are the most efficient out of any other system I've used. It takes some time initially to set the administration settings to your practice though once done - you no longer need to repeat.

Cons

Wish that the intake form updated medical history automatically.

The knowledgeable customer service has good response time and has always been "on target" for figuring out any problem I had. The customer service representatives: 1) have an optometry background, and 2) are not located in a foreign country, making communication ideal. RevolutionEHR cares about its clients!

Pros

The integrity of the company. I confidently achieved Meaningful Use (MU) because Rev (and later RevAssure) worked to educate me to do things correctly. I was "bulletproof "when audited, thanks to the thorough tutelage and efforts of \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]

Cons

Cumbersome, not intuitive. Learning curve was challenging.

The customers service is fantastic! Any time I do not know how to do something in the system, I can call for help and they walk me through how to put it in. They are so helpful and friendly! \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] was epecially wonderful today to help me with a very complicated transaction in the accounting.

Pros

I like the demographic information and how we integrate with Weave to make it easy to send patient reminders and notify of product in. Overall, the system is pretty easy to use.

Cons

It is difficult to make changes in the accounting. I get lost at times with all of the different invoices and figuring out how to make changes or corrections when needed.

We chose Revolution EHR to be able to customize our screens and price point.

I think my overall experience with Revolution EHR is great! Pros definitely out weigh the cons.

Pros

I love how easy it is to look up a patients history and to schedule an appointment. The calendar makes it really nice as well to see what we have going on.

Cons

Sometimes it is frustrating training a new employee because sometimes there are little buttons you have to choose in order to get to the place you are needing to be. Once you get it down it’s fine but learning it is kind of tedious.

Pros

I love how accessible RevolutionEHR makes patient files—past and present. Also, the ability to merge duplicate patient files (for example, one from 3 years ago and one from a recent visit) is remarkable. I also like the design of the software, as it is easy to navigate.

Cons

I do not like how the software can be glitchy. At times, RevolutionEHR will not allow me to login to my account unless I try several different times. This can be very frustrating with a busy day with many patients to look up.

THE PEOPLE MAKE THIS COMPANY. I thought I set the bar on customer experience but for a small practice, I think that's pretty easy to do. For a large company like RevEHR to manage so many customers and the ever challenging and changing healthcare and software worlds...and do it like a 5 star hotel...escapes my comprehension.

Pros

The thing I liked most about the SOFTWARE was the attractive interface, the video training modules for my staff, the fact that I was always informed of updates or issues to be concerned with going down the pipleline, and the ability to access RevEHR from anywhere with a network connection.

Cons

The exam flows are too click-heavy...with multiple menus and submenus for testing...would like to see more tests combined into less pages/tabs.
