only problem currently is with daylight savings time messing up our schedule since we don't change time.

Looks pleasing to the eye. Good flow, ability for company to adapt and make changes as needed. dont know what to say but did not have enough characters to submit :)

Adobe!!!! Time consuming on back end data entry.

One of the best things I’ve encountered so far was the helpfulness of staff from the device transfer team (specifically Paul). He has gone above and beyond my expectations and has been extremely easy to work with.

Pros

I really like how you can customize everything to make flow more efficient.

Cons

Calendar system. I wish you were able to look at more than one day at a time. A full week overlook would be very beneficial

The portal needs work. Patients should be able to set their own password and retrieve it if they forget.

So far it has been a positive experience. We have worked with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and she has been the most helpful and patient integrator for our office and team. Always available to answer questions via phone or email and easily explains solutions.

Pros

The fluidity between the scheduling software my office uses (TAB) and the EHR itself. Easy to create new patient profiles and change appts and both are updated in real time.

Cons

Inability to E-fax directly to offices because we have reports and referrals to send out quite often.

Reason for choosing RevolutionEHR

I have used many products in the past and for our office the ease at which our patient database was integrated into the system was very efficient and effortless.

Cons

I know I can change the settings to long standby times but when I'm logged out and resign in I would all of the information to still be available, example would be patient chart I was previously working on.

My experience with this software has been mixed but overall I dislike the product. There are some good features, but for what I needed this software has not been a great fit.

Pros

The product is customizable. The cost is good. It is easy to install and start up because it is cloud based like most software today. Minimized IT costs. The one-click normal button is good for when you have a routine exam.

Cons

The software is good if most of your patients are routine eye care exams with a very little disease. The more you have to document in terms of disease and diagnosis, the more it slows you down. It also doesn't flow as well going through the exams. For instance, I have to click on another section to finalize the exam instead of being able to okay the glasses prescription from one section. You must go through training in order to learn to fully use this software because it is not as intuitive as some other software options that are available. The customer service is not easy to reach in an urgent situation. The customer service usually has to call you back after you have left a message. Some other software has more management reports to review than Revolution EHR.

Schedules, Accounting, Optical and EHR is all on one platform. The system is cloud based so can be accessed from anywhere

Cons

In order to chart there is a lot of different screens that you have to click on, and if you add a screen you do not wat their is no way to delete it.

Minor technical glitches- sometimes site unavailable. Sometimes I want to add a diagnosis that isn't listed or available.

Cons

Sometimes it will not run smoothly with different browsers. Sometimes I cannot find non-ocular ICD-10 codes that I would like to use.

Pros

Cloud based, thus integrated into every system. Really does have a lot of feature. Their support team is ACTUALLY there during transition and after (so far, went live 2 weeks ago).

Cons

While you can modify everything, you can't modify it easily on the fly. On the phone with an established patient booking an appointment and want to change their phone number? Not just highlight and change. Click name, click name AGAIN to take you to the "Patient" pod, open their demographics pod, click Edit (almost hidden graphically in the bottom right) to be able to type, change, click Update, go back to the schedule, totally one click. Also lacks easy to see overviews for information. Want to see a patient's name, address, phone number, and insurance in one tight screen? Nope, separate. Want to see a slate of the day's patients with a live update of where in their exam process they are? Nope, not there. Want a simple end-of-day report that has all the reports you would print out in one click (maybe two - check it, then print?) So far, haven't found that one. Lots of reports in lots of menus and lots of buttons to click.

Cons

Too many clicks. It takes way too long to complete a comprehensive exam. I will eventually need to get a scribe.

RevolutionEHR is geared more for practices that emphasize eyeglass and contact lens and less useful for medical eyecare

Pros

There is nothing good to say. I wish I could have a positive point but I do not.

Cons

This program is a complete mess starting with the inventory function. Complete and total disaster. To add to this disaster, they use Frames Data program which is completely incorrect and has messed up our inventory so bad. When I talk to customer support about this they always say "We know its a problem and hopefully in a future update we will fix it". ALSO, they have a section of inventory for sunglasses and you cannot enter the eye size and color. Its ridiculous. Customer service told me I have to enter sunglasses in both regular frame inventory AND in sunglasses inventory. When I run inventory reports they don't tell me color and size so when I print off the list I have to manually figure out if I really have 2 of the same frames and what colors they are. Next issue is how much clicking and not user friendly the software is. I waste a ton of time clicking through things that other programs have easily displayed on one page. It doesn't make any sense. I waste so so so much time every day.

Pros

We use this product at work to keep track of our patients health records. It is easy to use and has all their information in one spot and has multiple ways to look patients up which is nice. It is very easy to input any information you need. I like the fact that it is a cloud based system so it can be pulled up from anywhere you need.

Cons

This product is a little on the expensive side, we have only used it for a few short months and I have not see anything I do not like.

This is our first experience with electronic health records.I cannot say enough about how friendly and informative \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been through this whole process. As an older doctor, I found it more challenging than my younger counterparts but \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was always attentive to my concerns and very encouraging. She is one of the nicest customer support people I have ever encountered.

Pros

We found it to be flexible and easy to customize to our needs.

Cons

We feel sometimes that there are multiple keystrokes to get certain information inputted.

Pros

The software is user friendly and the vendor provides outstanding service. Also, there is only a monthly fee and no huge cash outlay in the beginning.

Cons

Like almost all EHR software there is room for improvement - one of my major issues is that you can only view the schedule one day at a time. I would like to be able to see the whole week.
