She was absolutely fantastic and helped my transition from Office Mate. She responds to my emails very quickly and she took her time teaching me tips and tricks to go faster! She has been such a pleasure to work with. Pros I can access my patient charts from anywhere and there is a lot that is customizable. Cons I do not like the patient intake forms. It would save time if there was a better platform for patients to self enter all of their pertinent history/medications/allergies, etc. There is also a lot of clicking. Pros It's easy to use, easy to get the reports you want, the many types of reports you can run, easy to look-up needed patient information, easy to get in touch with customer support, scheduling patients is easy, inserting orders is easy. Cons We have to log out and back in a lot because of system errors that pop up and it takes a lot of "clicks" to do navigate through screens. We also sometimes have some glitches looking at the schedule - patients won't show up after scheduling them or there will be two of the same patient for the same exam at the same time. I can say that Customer Service for RevolutionEHR could not be better! Our Setup Trainer was always just an email away and always had the answer I needed for the given situation. Cons The only problem I have encountered is that sometimes RevolutionEHR will time-out your session while in the midst of entering data on an encounter. There was a recent update (just last night), and I hope this problem was resolved. I must follow that up by saying that it has not been enough of a problem to contact Customer Service. Pros Revolution is straightforward to use and has all the features I need in an EHR. Staff has been able to pick up on it quickly. Cons Using the software is a little clunky initially but gets easier over time. The layout isn't the greatest. We love it already! Phone support is top-notch, professional, and effective. Rev EHR has been a great office partner and tool for us. Pros Customization to office needs. User friendly. Practice management functions and EHR are all on one dashboard, one program. Each patient has a dashboard that includes all possible steps that need to be taken with that patient/encounter. I also like the structure and flexibility of Revolution EHR. The structure is good for offices who have never used a web-based platform, and the flexibility is necessary for offices as they feel more comfortable customizing the product to meet your needs. Revolution EHR is great for small offices and large offices alike. Cons Customer service hours are not as convenient for West Coast offices as they close by 4:30 PST. We have been using it for a little over a year, so much easier to use compared to our previous system. I really like how you can pull previous information. However, sometimes if you don't hit the next button it deletes the information. Not all information seems to transfer over all the time. Authorizing them, then dragging them to one payee or another, then transferring part to the insurance or patient, and discounting is generic and hard per line item. Cons The stress of changing the way you do everything in your office is going to be there no matter which system you pick. We took on more stress by choosing to switch to Revolution. The customer service is amazing. When transferring from another software, they were helpful and committed to making sure we were well trained before going live.
