In a single sentence, it's the software I encourage others to purchase more than any other.

Pros

As with any software you buy, the 'sell-in' always goes well, it always sounds exciting and any barrier seems insignificant. The difference with campaigner, was that all these statements were actually true. Not only did they help us with the onboarding but they've also given us dedicated time and training to help bring some more of our 'outlandish' automations to life. They've really helped modernise our Service and provide us with the capability worthy of our incredible donors.

Cons

Only suggestion would be to build into the software translation capability, although we have overcome this quite easily.

Reasons for choosing Campaigner

There were several but the automation process within Campaigner was more desirable.

It is supportive of mid tier type businesses it uses artificial intelligence to push/force emails for individuals with an extensive customer/consumer base.

Cons

There’s not a free version to use this software and most do, and the technical support is horrible.

Pros

The product's reliability is what I like most. Campaigns have always been successful and productive. No spam folder problems. Customer service is always available.The product is easy to set up and use, the dashboard is great. Features split testing and automation.

Cons

The product lacks a free version or trial. Templates are more static and less customizable.

Absolutely awful experience. Interestingly, there's a similar review on here to that which we had. Found that our account got locked after it was created, emails back and forth between myself and support. No help whatsoever! Got a response saying it was a system issue, then it should work fine, then it was something else. I emailed asking for our account to be closed only to find that we then started getting billed for a server that not only did we not want to use WE COULDN'T USE IT! Genuinely the most awful company I've ever had dealings with! And that's saying something

There is nothing I liked about Campaigner as we were never able to use our account

In reference to the locked account, we had some routine maintenance to conduct around the time of your signup, this subsequently disrupted our customers ability to login and was communicated by our team. Regarding the cancellation, our process, which was adhered to by our support team, is that the customer will need to call in so that we can verify their account details and most importantly the identification of the credit card holder, before cancelling the account. As it appears you had not called in, your free trial subsequently converted to a paid account, which was cancelled after you spoke with our support team via phone. Thanks again for your response. Pros

Simple to use. Its automation and autoresponder feature are what make it the best among its competitors. Another best feature of this software is its integration with social media.

Cons

Poor customer support. They lack the responsive promptness even to make changes in the subscription plans.

It is appealing the easy email builder and the choice of email design

Cons

They take your card details and they carry on charging until you don’t change your card details. It’s not possible to cancel the subscription.

Terrible. Was thrilled when we were able to move the client away from it and onto Active Campaign.

Pros

Nothing. Really it is a terrible email platform.

Cons

The design features to layout and design creative emails is horrid. Nothing is intuitive. The platform is old and couldn't even convert a design to a text version. Every email campaign had to be designed first in visual form and then again in text form. It caused terrible overtimes in building out campaigns. Also its email automation/funnel system is really laughable.
