August 31, 2026 4.0 It offers consistent and reliable features and has a wide range of options for users, including the option to save maps and download reports. Pros It gives a lot of comprehensive options for the information you can pull, including a drive time radius. Cons It can be tricky to figure out how to do exactly what you need to do without spending a lot of time. Only being able to be logged in on one device at a time. Manager, Sales Applications Medical Devices Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Good product that is losing usefulness" August 22, 2023 3.0 It was a good initial experience - learning curve was manageable and price was good - but it features have been decreasing as price increases, and we're just told that they believe they're still a good price with no plan to address the deficiets. Pros MapBusinessOnline makes it easy to import and export zip code data for territory mapping. Cons Viewer experience is confusing - its made to look like a free trial that will have to be paid. Map organization is severely lacking - there is no way to create folders, and no way to see all maps (ones you created and ones those on your team created) all in one place. There is no way to delete old maps created by people no longer with the company so we have clutter and mess making it very difficult to find the map we need. Price continues to go up as features we used (Salesforce Integration) are discontinued. Value is decreasing. We used to get quarterly zip code updates but they are much less frequent now, to the point we may need to pay for those from another service. There is no way to speak to someone in support - they respond to emails only which makes resolving issues very time consuming and inefficient. The Territories are great, but hoping there would be more room to build on Territories - like putting 2/3 Territories into one map? Pros The program responds fast and captures what we need it for - which is illustrating a territory. I also like that you illustrate a radius on an area which is great. Cons I hope you had an ability to build on territories more, like different colours and a place for a legend. When I first started it only took me about five minutes to learn the basics of exporting addresses and exporting territories. Pros Territory mapping with different colors an layers per state. I love that you can copy and paste your dataset into the software and quickly generate professional territory mapping based on zip codes. Cons Making edit to existing territory mapping when you have to change a few zip codes isn't easy. I found that start from scratch again is the best way. " December 14, 2016 5.0 After searching and trying other mapping programs for our delivery operations team and finding that we just couldn't get all the features that we required we finally found Map Business Online. Not only did it have all the features we needed including Longitude/Latitude and optimizing delivery routes but provided us tons of other bells and whistles. MBO proved to be a superb tool for our operations team to create routes and territories with the click of a few buttons but also allowed our reporting team to make beautiful maps that helped our executive team visualize the story the data was telling. We are using this for the 2nd year in a row and will be renewing when it is time again. We pride ourselves at offering cutting edge applications to our millions of readers and subscribers worldwide and love the MBO helps us stay ahead of the technology curve by continuing to update their product and features. The interface is very user friendly and I have gotten so much out of the software in many cases. Saying that, I think it needs to become available in other browsers because I can't stand Internet Explorer. Also, I used to be able to log in and access my saved maps immediately without having to create a new map first. Lastly, sometimes when I zoom in and out, some of the data gets moved outside of the map. Overall, this is the best mapping software on the market as far as I am concerned. The ease of being able to access this from anywhere is a major plus, not to mention all of the capabilities that exist within the program. Individuals throughout my company have come to me and asked how I make my maps because they are so perfect. I love that I can create a territory without anything else in the background. October 26, 2017 4.0 Easy to purchase and get started, able to import locations from Excel, able to use my own art as the pushpin, and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Pros The customer support for Map Business Online is off the charts! I am only just beginning to use their software so can't tell you all about it, but it was very easy to purchase and get started. Even more important - they are extremely responsive. We needed answers about compatibility before purchasing, and then wanted to use our own art as the pushpin. While I'm sure that information is available in their tutorials, they responded to my emails before I could search out the answer myself. Another feature I'm happy about is that I purchased the 3 month version, but if my client gets their job, I'll need to continue using this, and I can upgrade then and have my initial investment credited. I highly recommend Map Business Online. Cons I haven't used this long enough to have any cons. It's possible there aren't enough variations of map styles, but I could always export the data points and overlay on my own art if I want something more stylized. It is a lot cheaper than others I found and it does just as good of a job as far as I can tell. I travel a lot with my job and this allows me to keep all of the locations mapped and easily mapped so as to make my computer work less and more organized. Pros I like the multiple layers. And the ability to cluster locations and label them for future use. Cons I have been unable to use the graphing and it is hard to figure out how to change that. These symbols are applied to two or three columns of your imported numeric data. They then show the visual comparisons of your data segments. Pros I liked the demo and the ease of use, the set up of the data sets and the overall look of the finished product, but needed more in the lat/long field. Cons It does not support lat/long by address. If I have the address, I'd like it to also give me the lat/long of said address. While lat/lons do not show by hovering over your imported points you can actually retrieve lat/lons using MBO. Still, the tool is not designed to be a lat/lon generator. Go to the Data Window, hover over the left hand column of any imported dataset (colored dots) - choose to edit locations by clicking the pencil icon. An address correction map pops up. Click at the point presented and you'll see lat/lon on the left panel. Call 800-425-9035 for further assistance.
