### "Not impressed"

July 29, 2021

4.0

CorelDRAW was great at the beginning of 2000\`s. Right now I can\`t say that this software is must be your choice #1 in creating or editing of vector graphics. CorelDRAW had a bad interface, also it is not easy to use this software for the beginners.

Pros

Works fast even on i3. You can create some cull stuff by using Corel.

Cons

Ugly interface from 90s. In 2021 you can find a lot of alternative software with more features.

### "Simple and user-friendly design tool"

March 20, 2018

5.0

Coreldraw has always exceeded my expectations in terms of creating and exporting designs in a simple way

Pros

Although I am not a graphic designer over the years I have had to learn how to use design tools to keep my carpentry business afloat, and this tool for me is a success because it is easy to use and very accurate.

Cons

You should use a very powerful computer if you work with a very detailed design and there is a very high data volume, because the interaction with the design software becomes very slow, making the work very difficult.

### "Corel draw Review"

July 31, 2021

4.0

Pros

Corel draw introduced me to graphic design because of its simplicity and flexibility. It is very easy to learn for beginners and is best used when working with projects that requires much shape e.g logos, book cover etc

Cons

It does not have powerful photo editing features. You will hardly see photographers use this software to edit their works

### "Very easy to use"

Cons

To be honest i don't think have found any disadvantage in CorelDRAW its a great application, though the trial version comes with limited features which results in not making nice images. But that can be fixed by purchasing the application

### "Being a new costumer, I have still limited experience, but learning with each day."

March 9, 2018

4.0

It's actually a very capable alternative to Photoshop, and if you're switching over the interface is easy to adapt to. As are the tools, in fact, as they share many similarities with Adobe's behemoth. New in this version is a Healing tool, which enables the quick editing of blemishes; a Perspective correction tool that gives you a grid-based dialog to fix distortions in photos; and a Gaussian Blur lens a paintable mask that enables you to blur areas of your images non-destructively. There's quite a bit going for photo paint; its creative tools are solid and its typography options excellent.

Pros

LiveSketch is VERY good. Node editing made much easier. Excellent Tablet Mode. A good number of tools and resources for everything from logo design to photo manipulation to web design. No matter your drawing style, you can get a smooth line: if you're a scratchy drawer, using multiple small strokes to build up a bigger line. Excellent stylus support (including the ability to adjust stylus tilt, bearing and rotation in real time). A quick editing workflow. Each node has a distinct appearance depending on the handle or selection type, and the size, colours and shapes of the editing points are customisable via Options. More intuitive interactive sliders for gradients, blends, transparency and so on wrap up a decent release.

Cons

Expensive to buy outright, and on subscription. If you own a previous version of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite you can upgrade. Whilst the entirety of this suite is pretty good value just look again at the extensive list above if your eyes can take it. There's always going to be a discrepancy of file between programs.

### "Decades of great results"

February 7, 2019

5.0

I have used CorelDraw for nearly 30 years, since version 3.0. I have tried other vector illustration programs and they just don't compare. CorelDraw is intuitive, robust, versatile, and precise. I have used it for everything from designing t-shirts, to web images, to bumper stickers, to church heraldry and illustrations for the U.S. government.

Pros

I like the intuitive interface and the precision I can achieve with the program. The suite comes with hundreds of typefaces (some of which you would pay dearly for if buying from the source foundry) and clipart. I have really enjoyed the addition of the in-program bitmap trace, replacing the less-robust standalone CorelTrace.

Cons

I dislike recent changes to the fit text to path feature, as it requires more work to get the desired effect, and the rotation of letters is less precise. Corel PhotoPaint, which is included in the suite, is difficult to use compared to Adobe Photoshop.

### "It is the easiest to use professional graphic design tool, it is one of the best"

March 6, 2018

5.0

It has allowed me to prepare poster for congresses and the edition of books in publications of the electoral field

Pros

the best the vectorization system, is very precise and presents a great variety of options for the automatic digitalization, the program in general is very simple to use and the help system located to the left of the work window is excellent

Cons

it is very slow working with heavy files, in the edition of books it is very uncomfortable to work if you have more than 100 pages, this is a detail that is necessary to correct

### "Versatile Design Software with One Shortcoming"

August 13, 2023

4.0

CorelDRAW is a versatile and feature-rich design software that has greatly improved my design capabilities.

Pros

I've been using CorelDRAW for my graphic design projects, and overall, I've had a highly positive experience. The software offers a wide range of powerful tools and features that make creating intricate designs a breeze.

Cons

there is one aspect that falls a bit short. The learning curve for CorelDRAW can be steep for newcomers to graphic design software. While there are ample tutorials available, a more beginner-friendly onboarding process or interactive guides could be beneficial.

### "A very solid image editor. As any creative tool, requires some time to get used to"

December 11, 2019

5.0

Quite often, as a self-employed professional, I need to make a new banner or piece of visual media from scratch, or to edit/update an existing file. With CorelDRAW, even not being a designer by profession, I can do these simple to moderately tough tasks by myself. Corel should be more than enough for many of the needs of a small to medium size business that does not have too much emphasis in visual arts.

Pros

Very accessible interface, not way too heavy on weaker computers, handles most vector image formats and also exports to many other formats with a good amount of options for file output specifications. Evidently, vector art does require some experience, as does learning a new software, but these barriers are expected for any image edition software. CorelDraw has both the features for learning and working with the basics to intermediary competences in vector editing.

Cons

Not especially created to edit bitmaps or non-vector files, many beginner users have a tough time understanding this. As a program that can really used professionally, will require some time to get used to. I had to reinstall it a few times through the 5 years I have been using different versions. Some times, maybe through Windows updates, the need to reinstall Corel to fix an issue can arise, but that process is usually not too troublesome.

### "Corel Draw really is kind of a swiss army knife in graphics."

March 9, 2018

5.0

I have been working for more than 20 years now with this software through several updates and upgrades. Without Corel Draw I would have had to learn more inconvenient programs which by the way don't offer better end results.

Pros

Corel Draw gives you the opportunity to create high-quality graphics content at a reasonable price. The software supports industry standard outputs of data for web development standard offset print products up to large format digital printing data. I have not seen another piece of software that has a working area similar to Corel Draw. Perfect for sign-making.

Cons

I am working with Corel Draw since version 3 and must say I didn't find a negative aspect in all the years. When it came to a complaint by my side i often had to admit that it was simply a user error. On the other hand updates to fix bugs and errors were always done precisely by the software manufacturer.

### "Amazing App for amazing user"

CorelDraw has been my partner since I started my freelance graphic design profession and with this I was able to create a homebased business which I do together with my employment.

Pros

CorelDraw is one of the most important application that a graphic designer needed. You can easily capture that image that you long for to create.

Cons

I can't see any negative things using this software, I use it partnered with Photoshop application. Which makes my creation great.

### "coreldraw review"

August 27, 2018

4.0

Coreldraw has exposed me to various surprising capabilities in what i can do with graphic tools.

Pros

They have an amazing help and support. The offerings are wonderful and it has an easy to navigate interface. It is an easier and lighter alternative to Photoshop . it consists of different applications making you have access to various tools and features.

Cons

The fact that i cannot run an action script to do a mock-up of my design like photoshop. It takes a while to learn how to use all the tools to achieve maximum result. I pretty much grew using coreldraw (in 2001) and i must say even though they release newer versions periodically, they are still not there in terms of graphics delivery and capability when likened to Photoshop. I also do not like the fact that corel rave was discontinued, it was my motivation to learn animation at the time.

Designing has never been easier with CoreDraw, it has enriched my designing basics.

Pros

The Livesketch tool stands out as well as the Bitmap to vector tracer will save you time when designing and also assist in making your designs lively and time saving. I love the fact that CorelDraw is user friendly as it offers tutorials and offers touch-friendly interface.

Cons

Some of the features take time when using them to design. The latest version of CorelDraw seems to have a solution to that so as to save time.

### "CorelDraw Graphics Suite a Creative Powerhouse"

November 2, 2023

5.0

Simply, if you you want to create any graphic, from a simple flyer to complex vector illustrations, or edit/manipulate photographs or create raster graphics from scratch, then I cant recommend CoreDraw highly enough. I have never had an occasion where I have been unable to realise whats in my imagination, thanks to CorelDraw.

Pros

If you want vector graphic and image editing functionality second to none, then CorelDraw Graphics Suite is the wise and natural choice. With its fast and friendly ease of use, theres not an image that cant be realised in this, my Graphic Design software of choice for 30 years. Once you become familiar with its wide range of capabilities, the sense of empowerment and satisfaction it provides keeps you in that creative flowstate until project completion.

Cons

I cant think of anything which is lacking in CorelDraw, as a Graphic Designer, it does everything I need.

### "The beginning of Design"

February 23, 2021

5.0

I have a strong connection with CorelDraw because when I started my career as a Graphic Designer it was this software that launched me into the job market.

Pros

The good thing about CorelDraw is that some vectors you can't do in Adobe Illustrator you can do in CorelDraw, it's simpler than Illustrator and easier to use.

Cons

However, not all companies ask for CorelDraw skills, most ask for Adobe products, I think this is a big disadvantage for CorelDraw.

### "The long standing industry standart"

August 8, 2019

4.0

I use it mostly to prepare files for cnc laser cutting, fabric embroidery and similar applications. However, I eventually use it to create catalogues and other material that demand repeatability across several pages, with precise element placement and demand for vector illustrations. I find it more versatile then Adobe InDesign, and easier to use for that purpose than Adobe Illustrator. In that sense, is kind of a in between solution.

Pros

Corel Draw is excellent for product design and technical layouts when you need precise placement of elements and repeatability over different pages. It is very intuitive to use, and in my opinion, much easier to learn than it's main competitor. The newer versions offer great customizability and the modular nature of the resources means you only pay for the functionalities you actually need. Corel supports (both for importing and exporting) a very large variety of file types, which is why it still is the industry standard when preparing files for CNC laser cutting, computerized embroidery, silk screen canvasses and other non ink printing media.

Cons

When it comes to creative intuitive design, I find it a bit limiting for the same reasons it makes for a good technical design software. It is based on parametric constraints and measures, which makes it very good for technical layouts (such production guides or products datasheets) and helps a lot with standardized lay outs where repeatability is a must across several pages. However, when you want to design intuitively and loosely for mostly aesthetical effect, it can be a bit hindering to the creative flow, at least when compared to its main competitor.

### "Endless Creativity"

March 31, 2020

5.0

I've been using it for over 20 years. This software provides the biggest scope for creativity without restricting or limiting function. If I can imagine it, I can create it in Corel Draw. And each year they come out with new innovative upgrades and features I didn't even think possible.

Pros

I love its capacity to handle graphics and manipulate them into images I didn't even think possible. I use this software every day in my work of creating images. The ability to create and finely manipulate vector graphics always amazes me. I've also been able to use the image editor to do some detailed photo restoration to the delight of my customers.

Cons

Because this software is so extensive and powerful, it takes time to learn to use it, and discover all of it's capacity. With features I use less often, I have to take a few extra minutes to remind myself of how they work.

Reason for choosing CorelDRAW

For the price, it gave me far more creative features.

### "Easy to use and allows to develop projects with professional results"

March 21, 2018

5.0

I have developed institutional manuals for electoral processes in the workplace.

Pros

Essential tool for graphic designers, intuitive, easy to use and with a lot of options for vector editing, the module to vectorize images is great because it incorporates several options for vectorization.

Cons

The program becomes slow and a little unstable, when the projects exceed one hundred pages, for future versions it is essential to improve the capacity of the program to handle large volumes of information.

### "Very messy"

August 29, 2021

3.0

All in all, it seems like a very good December software to me, but I think that instead of every year releasing a new CorelDraw with a different number they would have to fix the problems it already has. It is a shame since it is very easy to use, but I have lost work thanks to its unexpected closures.

Pros

It is very easy to use without knowing anything specific about the software, very intuitive. It has many useful tools and is not heavy.

Cons

Every time I used it I was afraid that it would close out of nowhere (which it did very often), it worked perfectly and crashed all the time.

### "CorelDRAW: The way to success!"

September 20, 2019

COMPLICATED!

Pros

Everything! Absolutely every single thing! CorelDRAW is the most complicated software. Especially, I have made a big step when I started to work in CorelDRAW. It gave me a chance to make a logos, posters and many other things. Interface is my favorite part of this software. I like it the most!

Cons

As I said, interface is the my favorite part of this software and also, a hard one too. CorelDRAW has many tools to use and it makes it hard to find what you want.
