The designing task was efficiently handled as there are many options and tools in CoralDraw. There is no doubt that CoralDraw is one of the best tools for designing.  We can do all the types of designing tasks such as photo editing, page layout, trimming, symbol and power clip. There is another important feature in coral draw and that is using CoralDraw we can open edit and save a PDF file with multiple pages. Cons Coral-draw is bit confusing for a beginner who does not have much knowledge on  how to use this tool. Pros Very users friendly and there are a bunch of tutorials that you can watch to figure things out. Less expensive than adobe creative cloud. You can either buy program or purchase a subscription. Cons It takes a bit of getting used to and trying to figure the different options within Corel draw. It doesn’t have a whole bunch of extra add-ons. You need various products to work in conjunction with it. Switched from [Adobe Illustrator](https://www.capterra.com/p/227125/Adobe-Illustrator/) I had too many issues with Adobe so I made the switch to Corel draw. Also, adobe was much more expensive in the long run. Even though it takes time to learn how to use it, it is a great program. Once you get used to it you can easily and quickly modify objects, turn them into vectors and make some art. Pros I love Corel Drawl for its functionality. It has many features that help me create and edit vector objects as I wish to suit my customers requirements. The program allows easily to adjust curves and change the objects' shape. Cons As all programs you need to spend some time to learn all the things you can do, however it is worth the effort. In it we can create different combinations of layers and obtain satisfactory results with simple drawing commands using lines and geometric shapes. It has good acceptance of Adobe Illustrator files, exports in several formats and hardly crashes. Highlight for the function that tracks the bitmap and converts it to curves according to custom settings. As I said before, it was my first approach to graphic design softwares, it really helped me with some basic things about sheet estructures, but today I'm part of the Adobe army. Anyway, I can see people from my family who has nothing to do with graphic design using it, and reaching what they need. I RECOMMEND IT for those who want to take their FIRST STEPS onto graphic design. But while you scale, and need a bigger and better workflow, you gonna need something more professional. Pros I think CorelDRAW is the first "pro" software we've all used as designers (deleting Canva lol), it is easy to understand, really intuitive (among other softwares), and helps us to achive our firsts designs (such as posters, brochures, information sheets, etc). When your aren't related to many design concepts (vectors, curves, textures, etc), it's still really useful, and many people out of graphic design is able to use it. Specially for those things you think is not necessary to get a designer, or you can't pay for it. Cons We all know about the historical competition betweet Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW, so I can't stay out of this comparison. The truth is that, although CorelDRAW let us make vectorial designs, Illustrator is much more complete. It is not based on the tools you have on each software, 'cause nowadays they're so similar, but its community makes the difference. Today we can found many textures, brushes, vectors, tools in general to use on Illustrator, because of the big community they have, and Corel is really out of it. That's why I remark the difference between the sheets design, and the vectorial art on the first part. Also, if you need to work with more than one software, Adobe simplifies the workflow. So, for example, it's easier to work with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, than changing between Adobe apps (Ps-Id), to CorelDRAW. Review Source DA Dalia A. Diseñador gráfico Used the software for: 2+ years ### "It was my first design program, it's already very intuitive for me" May 22, 2018 5.0 Pros the tools are much better than the competition, it is easier to vectorize and edit vectors. when exporting I think it has the most extensive file support, plus I can even open Illustrator files (which I can not do vice versa) the cleaping mask option is better than another, I can edit even the bitmap colors a lot easier without worrying about damaging the original file Cons its eternal failure with the colors when printing, only the experience makes me know what color to choose so as not to have direct colors on the screen.
