### "Graphic design key"

December 31, 2018

5.0

Evegreat experience

Pros

CorelDraw is a software I've used over the years and i still till now. It is the best logo design software out there. I've built exquisite logos for brands on freelance sites a gotten great reviews for the job. It is great for architectural designs as it oays great details to dimensions in pixel, inche, millimeters etc.

Cons

There's need to improve the user interface of the software. Although the coreldraw X7 which i use has way more advanced features than x2, there's still not much differences in the interface design.

Pros

I like that it gives many options to design, edit and graph. It is practical to understand and is very functional

Cons

I would like a larger color palette. More efficiency to vectorize

### "'The Alternative' Professional Vector Design Software"

October 6, 2020

5.0

Once I got over the unfamiliar UI and tool icons, it was more or less the standard vectoring software setup and feel as illustrator. I only use this to open and work on native CorelDraw files as issues sometimes importing .crd to .ai and vice-versa result in file corruption or inconsistencies in the artwork.

Pros

The fact that it is being offered with a perpetual license. Which is a big deal specially now that the subscription model is going mainstream with most industry-standard software. I also like the fact that CorelDraw is actually MORE POWERFUL than Adobe Illustrator, specially in terms of features and the ability to select path and shapes.

Cons

I personally feel that CorelDraw UI specifically the workspace and tool icons aren't at par with Illustrator. Maybe it's Corel's way of differentiating its product from their competitor, but from a consumer standpoint - having to deal with very unfamiliar icons is a hurdle that deeply affects workflow and productivity. A user would have to relearn and familiarise themselves with an almost totally different set.

Alternatives considered

[Adobe Illustrator](https://www.capterra.com/p/227125/Adobe-Illustrator/)[Inkscape](https://www.capterra.com/p/178240/Inkscape/)

Reason for choosing CorelDRAW

We didn't we actually use both, CorelDraw being a secondary choice.

### "Coreldraw Review"

December 5, 2019

5.0

I use Coreldraw to draw up complex artworks and it turns out perfectly well. My overall experience is very good.

Pros

As far as computer graphic design is concerned, coreldraw has proven to be one of the most versatile and easy to use program. The center wheel button on mouse does more good to me in zooming artboards without engaging keyboard command and mouse, or hitting the zoom button in the screen. So the center wheel is an important peripheral especially for those people that might be using one hand due disability or any other problem. I attest to the dynamic use of the wheel because my left arm is partially disabled. Another good thing is the dictionary (thesaurus) in the program. This simply means the chances to mispell words are very minimal.

Cons

Coreldraw has no cons. I have been using it for more than 8 years.

### "Fantastic Editor"

July 2, 2023

4.0

Great tool

Pros

The tool is quite elaborate and meets practically the need of most Graphic Design requirements. While I used it mostly for Image editing and some creative works, I can say without any fear of favor that is stands tall amongst competitors and is indeed an excellent.

Cons

It can be pretty cumbersome when getting started and pretty much overwhelming. The learning curve is pretty steep without a doubt for someone just getting started.

### "CorelDraw Review"

March 24, 2021

5.0

I think it is clear, the design problem is CorelDraw which will be mentioned first in general. With many features that allow users to be more creative.

Pros

In general, the design is identical to CorelDraw. And what I have used Menag is Corel Draw. I think there are many features in it. That's one of the advantages that I know.

Cons

This is arguably a drawback but for certain people it could be the opposite. Yes, in my opinion, there are so many features, it's quite confusing for beginners to learn to understand quickly. But for those who really like design, features are an option for them to create a lot.

### "Software that facilitates the creation and edition of vectors"

May 1, 2018

5.0

Very good tool, each update is much better and surprising.

Pros

It facilitates the creation, edition of vectors for graphic arts. It allows a fantastic integration with external tools such as cutting plotters as well as it can be easily merged with other softwares and thus have faster and more accurate results.

Cons

In today's world we need faster in all areas, especially if we talk about graphic arts, this software has more positive than negative elements, therefore, there are no less interesting or less important aspects according to my criteria.

### "My First Graphic Software"

November 26, 2018

5.0

My experience using CorelDRAW was great because it opened my eyes to the world of nature and it's color and how to design good natural graphics.

Pros

When I wanted to learn about graphics I learnt with CorelDRAW and I can simply say that this software is good when you know how to use it. It allows me to design graphic items with it and my first graphic stuff that I created using CorelDRAW was a calendar which have my picture in it and it was a wonderful experience. Using CorelDRAW opened my eyes to many other beautiful colors of the world.

Cons

One thing I don't like about CorelDRAW is that they don't allow upgrade to a newer version from an older version. For example if you want to upgrade from x3 to x5 a new installation will be required and can't upgrade directly from your x3. I don't really like that and they should try and fix that. Another thing is that proper knowledge is required to use CorelDRAW.

### "Best for designing almost anything..."

March 10, 2020

5.0

I am happy to use Coreldraw and I will definitely recommend this. It is a part of business / life now and we consider it as a earning partner. We design - print and sell almost anything.

Pros

I have been using Corel from more than 3 years and I must admit that this is the best software for anyone who is into designing and printing industry. We rely on Corel for all our designing / drawing needs and it never failed us till date. One needs to understand it thoroughly / the way it works and after that everything is a piece of cake.

Cons

It can be complicated for beginners but that how everything / any newbie is.

### "Coreldraw easier than adobe"

February 14, 2020

5.0

I would recommend Coreldraw if you want to produce graphics that are layered and quality

Pros

I have used Coreldraw for years and have found it easier to use than Adobe products. I also have found that many other designers and printers use this so its easy to share files and get things printed. Printers appreciate when I share a coreldraw file or eps etc rather than a hand drawn file or a word file.

Cons

I find it is pretty intuitive and easy to get started with. There are times when I can't find a function that I want - but I can search it on youtube or google and find the fix easily

### "Good graphics software, tricky to learn"

April 6, 2018

4.0

Pros

Corel Draw is a complete graphic software suite, it packs up many tools and feature and will work for every kind of graphic job you need to achieve. The support behind the software is amazing, if you have any kind of doubt, you can expect to be able to work it out with the help of the support and the community.

Cons

Due to the high amount of tools and features available, you'll might find everything to be a bit confusing and "crowded" at first, so it might take a while to get used to the toold and get the most out of them

### "Like Photoshop... but better"

November 6, 2019

5.0

To put it simply, I can get about my work without hours of study. And I can produce phenomenal results at a fraction of the price!

Pros

In a word, VALUE! I've done graphic design work for several years now - brochures, flyers, business cards, badges, banners, table-top displays, etc. There is simply NOTHING I can't do with CorelDraw (and its partner program Corel PhotoPaint). And it's a fraction of the cost of Photoshop. PLUS as of this writing, Corel has not gone the cloud route - you can purchase the program and use it as you need it. No connection to the cloud required!

Cons

There are some features from version 8.0 that are missing in the later iterations (like some fills, etc.). These are minor issues compared to the advantages provided.

### "Love the ease"

November 27, 2019

4.0

Pros

I love the ease of use and how fast I've been picking up how to use the program. I can find all of the fonts and tools with little trouble. I enjoy it more than Photoshop, which is what I've had the most experience with.

Cons

Switching from Photoshop was slightly bothersome.

### "Great Design Software Every Bit as Strong as Adobe Illustrator"

October 15, 2019

5.0

I learned computer graphic design with CorelDRAW over 20 years ago. It was a lot of fun to learn, and its user interface gave me the knowledge to find my way around virtually any design software that I might use.

Pros

It is more affordable than its Adobe counterpart. The tools are easy to recognize and easy to use. Also, it's fun to use.

Cons

The software isn't used as widely as Adobe Illustrator. I was kind of sad to see that you now have to have a subscription in order to use the full version.

Reason for choosing CorelDRAW

Price. CorelDRAW has always been affordable. Adobe software has always been outrageously expensive.

### "Neat"

September 22, 2019

4.0

Corel draw has been a wonderful application to make graphic design easy and neat after exporting, the display is so clean that you wonder how you started.

Pros

The ability to do a lot on just one page, with directions when you click on any tools you hope to use.perfect for logo, poster and flyer designs, its display is good enough to preview high resolution images.A must use for all designers

Cons

You need to understand corel draw to be able to use it,if you save a work on corel 11 ,you need to curve it to be able to use it well ok another version of corel draw so it does not distort when imported

### "Simply great!!"

October 7, 2021

5.0

Great.

Pros

It's vectorial, not pixel-based, which is great because no matter how much you enlarge the image, it will always preserve quality. It's compatible with Office files and works perfect, it's multi-page (basic but very useful) and It supports many formats, simply great!

Cons

The only negative aspect I can think of is that it doesn't support the illustrator format and and uses a lot of system resources.

### "Have been using for years and will continue to do so"

May 4, 2019

5.0

I have been using CorelDraw for years. I use it along with a machine of mine to create items, and although I am no expert CorelDraw allows me to make the most amazing things. I'm still pretty much a beginner, maybe almost an armature, but while using this software I have been creating since day 1 because of how easy it was to learn! I have tried two other software before this, and they both were way too complicated for me to understand.

Pros

Easy to use, simple to learn and affordable. Great for beginners and experts.

Cons

The latest update wasn't the greatest, but after watching a few YouTube videos I was able to use the software quickly within a few days.

### "Great for vector graphics"

November 15, 2019

4.0

I enjoy using for my brochures, banners, flyers and tickets, sometimes illustrations and branding.

Pros

I began using Coreldraw from my childhood, and was captivated by the ease of use in which i could practically create great designs and illustrations with the few tools i had available right from coreldraw8, it is easy and intuitive, with a wide range of tools to work with. really great.

Cons

Maybe not as flexible and adaptive as the other graphics tools i have used in the past, and also, they are usually not precise in dimensions of elements, maybe a personal observation thouugh.

### "Best Grahics Designing Software with Easy to Use Tools"

September 21, 2018

I worked for many years on CorelDRAW to design newspapers and ad pages.

Pros

CorelDRAW is mostly used software in world of graphics designing in computer and printing press industry. It is the largest world using software that support approximately all languages including unicode languages. It has a lot of tool sets built in the software to design beautiful graphics. It is also using in the newspapers, magazines and books publishing markets. In Pakistan everyone who want become a designer it should have great skills on CorelDRAW. Now these days there are many free and open source softwares available for designing but CorelDRAW is beating all of them.

Cons

Its more costly according to third world countries, where the users prefer to spend less money on softwares.
