The LiveSketch tool is a gem - it's like it reads your hand-drawn lines, making your designs real snazzy. Cons The interface can be a bit cluttered and the learning curve's kinda steep. Cons It lacks a lot of advanced features compared to Adobe illustrator and so most companies prefer Adobe over corel draw. Pros The best part about CorelDRAW is that it is both a great graphic design tool and a great photo editing tool that has an app so you can use a mobile device instead of a full computer to work on projects. Cons There are a lot of functions for this software and it is a bit difficult to test it all out in the free trial, it also has a bit of a learning curve. I was able to bring so many things to life while using CorelDraw. It had so much that Illustrator didn't offer. It was also much less expensive. I could spend hours working on images and never feel like I didn't know what I was doing. Plus I was able to make colour separations for my screen printing business. It took me a little while to learn, but it does have a certain "language" that makes sense, and once you learn the basics, the rest comes naturally. It's a beautiful product with some pretty incredible tools built in. A must if you are in the sign business. Pros There are some features in this software that are just genius! It's efficient. It makes it easy to create beautiful art quickly. Best of all, you can make vector! Cons This is probably just a discrepancy in what the program was designed to be used for, and what I am trying to do with it, but some of the tools and presets just don't look as smooth as some of the adobe tools (shadows, etc...). I also use the photoshopping feature a lot to edit pictures of products. I have been able to edit images, adjust resolution as I like and also used it in advertising my designs. I like that I have most of the features I want in just this one app. Cons I cant open/edit files sent to me with adobe. Corel Draw doesn't have stuff like proper guides, page accumulation, methods for extensive layout and styling automation and this has crippled my use of it to an extent.
