Pros The number of features of Corel in incredible. We changed our graphic display design now easily and often. Moving graphs and pictures around is very easy. Cons Finding features that are unknown is not easy and have had to ask other who have a longer use of the software was necessary to get things done in a reasonable amount of time. Vector manipulation and tracing images in CorelDRAW are fast and easy with a full set of powerful commands. I also find it easier to learn. Cons When it comes to bitmap manipulation and image editing, CorelDRAW doesn’t fare better than competing software. Live chat and email/phone support can be improved. I mostly use Adobe products, but thought I'd try this for a billboard I was making. It was actually much better to use than Adobe for the billboard and I was very surprised at how intuitive everything was. Also, if you do a lot of design, I think this software is much cheaper in the long run than the creative cloud. Cons I didn't find anything that I didn't like about it. From what I used, this software worked better than Adobe for what I needed. In the end, it does what it needs to but its really not for everyone. Pros CorelDRAW combines all the best features of multiple design software in one so there's never any need to switch from one software to another which really streamlines the workflow. It creates clean high quality resizable vector images, web graphics, logos and really anything you can think up. Cons This is not for low end pc's at all, the software although it works, definitely demands a lot when it comes to processing power, which isn't always the greatest for people who can't afford such machines. I found better options over there. Cons Selection tools are not very comfortable. If we use Adobe Illustrator then the selection process is very comfortable as compared to CorelDraw. Also due to World Wide popularity of Adobe Illustrator, we can find of plenty of creative stuff free of cost on the Internet. Cons Tho it's mid range there are limitations with CorelDRAW that other programs do offer for those who need to do more advanced work. January 30, 2018 5.0 I don't see any reason for buying this software either buy the best or go for one of the much less expensive but capable options. Pros This is a very capable vector drawing software. But I haven't found a good reason to invest in it. It isn't the best or the industry standard. I would opt for it's more popular competitor even if it is somewhat more expensive. If I wanted to save money or couldn't afford the industry standard, there are other much less expensive options that work as well. Cons Value for the money just isn't here. If you aren't the industry standard or don't offer features that blow the competition away (CorelDraw is neither) you have to compete on price. Pros No subscription model, which can save a lot of money in the long term. Does everything as alternative Adobe products. Cons Rarely, but does sometimes crash.
