The interface is intuitive and extremely easy to use. 3. Managing and records of documents and invoices are just perfect. 4. May 1, 2024 3.0 Initial experience was good when we bought it but their architect left just before our launch. Day to day tech support is decent but professional services is brutal and we have lost all trust. Experience limited internal deployment across other departments. Pros \- Docuphase was ahead of its time 5 years ago when we deployed. - Combination of AP with OCR and document management was unique. - Standard tech support for day-to-day issues is good and responsive. - Newest OCR capture tool is decent. Cons \- Product requires a lot of customization to get it working properly. - Does not handle exceptions very well and when you need support for small configuration changes or ERP integration issues their pro services group is unresponsive. - They "ghost" you and even after you wait for 3 months to get 1 weeks work done you find out it on the 2nd day of the engagement they aren't working on it. - This has happened on so many occasions I have lost count. July 18, 2021 5.0 The flexibilty within the system makes this software a best in class solution! We continue to develop forms to automate workflow approvals, and the best part is when a web form is created and approved via the worflow process the data is archieved automatically. Pros The ability to customize this product to our needs. From soup to nuts this system can provide a solution to automate, authorize and archive every document you can imagine. It is very rare that you find a document management software that not only meets the needs for compliance in archiving documents but also provides workflow managment and digital signature. We highly recommend their products and have not been disappointed with anything. We love their staff and the way they work as a team. This saves us many hours of manual work that was done in the past. Pros It just works. They have a great customer service team that are really just a phone call away and answer their phones. Never experienced a time when problem was not solved within that day unless coding was need. They were able customize Treeno to fit our needs. It's fast and reliable. Cons My only area of confusion is the Admin Sign In. It would be helpful to have to have explanations of what functions are in each category. Right now I just click on each one until I find what I am looking for. Reason for choosing onPhase We were able to have a full demo and our printer company was able to import Treeno into our current equipment. The program was based on the web so we did not have to house all that data here and really easy to use. Price was great and they evolve the program as the computer world changes. We have some complex business needs and several limitations when it comes to the security of protected health information. Would like to feel confident in using this on the public end more. Pros Really like how we can connect to our security manager (SSO) to incorporate manager approvals based on a 1:1 reporting structure. Love all the helpful documentation and examples for business solutions. We are also happy with the SharePoint connector. Cons Integration work to setup our SharePoint connector was a bit painful and took longer than expected. Would like to see more concrete information regarding security, specifically related to the "Send Mail" feature in workflows. Currently not able to use "Send Mail" due to potential security breaches in the transfer of emails from frevvo servers. Web developer Automotive Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Frevvo is easy to use without javascript knowledge, but offers flexibility with someone who does" November 17, 2017 5.0 Easy to use. Fast web design Pros Even though it is very easy to use without knowledge of javascript, frevvo offers the flexibility to create really great forms if you have a good knowledge of coding in javascript. As an avid coder i was able to convert applications created in c# into frevvo forms. With the tools offered by frevvo, mainly the database connector and the ability to generate forms based upon sql queries i was able to create a form that queries past submissions and also then write to the database i had created. Then i was able to create another form that queries these submissions and generate an html table based upon the results. Within the html table i have several links to other frevvo forms which allow the user to view past submissions as well as a separate frevvo form to edit these submissions. Using the frevvo network file connector i was able to write attachments to a UNC path to be viewed later. In the edit form i used the same method to add more attachments to write to the same location to be able to overwrite or add new attachments without giving the user write permissions to the UNC path. I was also able to dynamically change edit permissions by created a separate form only available to managers that can change the status and assign editors. The assigned editors are saved in the database and when a user opens up the edit form it checks their id against the assigned editor and hides/shows the form based upon a match. Also the html table makes it easy to export data to csv Cons Since i am creating applications in frevvo the main con i have found is not being able retrieve attachments from the UNC path to be viewed when a user is viewing the data associated with these attachments Review Source JM Jason M. Over the last 6+ years we've built more than a dozen flows that have some pretty complex logic which integrate with our internal systems via the Database connector. Once a flow is setup, I never have to touch it again. Frevvo has been a huge value for our organization. Pros The form designer is hands down the best part of Frevvo. I can put a solid and professional form together in a few hours. The flow is also cake to build and I can easily send rich HTML messages to users. The digital signature is also laughable simple to implement. Cons Task Management needs some modernization. Once a user has processed a form, it's not intuitive for them to 'see where it is'. Tasks are designed for what a user needs to do only right now. The search is still clunky. Review Source JF Joseph F. March 29, 2018 4.0 Pros We selected DP as a way to manage documents internally, track notes on job files, and basically centralize all aspects of the file. We also are able to assign tasks to every employee and give them a daily worklist. DP also tracks the history of the file, so we can see where breakdowns in communication occur. We can also see prior version of documents so we can restore documents as needed. We looked at many systems and this seemed to work best and was was able to be customized to our needs. We have not lost any file folders since this started! Cons our old file data was not migrated to the system so anything older than 2013 was not searchable. some of the report functions do not work well for us. we are trying to implement new functionality to reduce redundancy and it is not going as well as we hoped. if the internet is down we cannot use the web based interface. We also do not know what will happen if we ever decide to migrate from this system, I do not know how we would access the data. The sales, engineering, and support staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and agile to fit the perfect EDM solution for all lines of business. Pros The solution design of the EDM software combined with the OCR solution enabled our company to move to a paperless and more efficient way to process and store critical documents such as invoices. The cloud-based platform makes the decision easy to implement. Post-sales support is readily available and moves quickly. Cons As with any new software implemented in a business, user training can be a challenge. Since the solution was implemented, there have been more documentation of processes and self-help guides. The ability to integrate into other software platforms such as Active Directory, G Suite, and our H.R. software saves us countless hours of paperwork as well as simplifying record keeping. Frevvo allows us to develop both internal and external forms and control who has access by using network and Google accounts and permissions. Workflows are have been configured to eliminate time-consuming paper and email trails. By setting specific rules and mandatory fields time spent revising Purchase Orders and Employee OnBoarding Applications have been virtually eliminated. I am very accustomed to working with a vendor through a trial and they are at your "beck and call" for any issues and then impossible to contact after the deal has been signed and money spent. Not with Frevvo, customer support is fantastic and they are always quick to respond with an issue or question. They have an endless library of training resources that are updated constantly. We are a small K-12 public school of fewer than 800 students and we are treated like a Fortune 500 company. So if you are serious about eliminating your paper documents, no matter the size of your company or organization, then Frevvo is the answer. Cons I only gave ease of use a 3 based on non-computer savvy users. Because none of our office workers were familiar rules-based workflows there is a learning curve. If you have the people who are trained for your organization start using this immediately after training you will have very little difficulty converting your current forms. Online help should take me to help for the version I am using. instead it takes me to help for the latest version which may or may not apply to the version that I'm currently on. Customers can't always upgrade precisely when a new version is release so the help link should be version specific. The connectivity with our local Active Directory (through Azure SAML) has allowed us to work through known tools and leverage pre-existing authentication and authorizations to build without duplicated effort. Pros Frevvo has a robust set of built-in features that allow non-programmers to develop sophisticated workflows. This is partnered with the ability to create js actions which gives applications developers the ability to provide very customized flows that can meet virtually any workflow need. Simple or complex, Frevvo has been able to meet our workflow challenges. Cons The movement between the application control, flow control, step management, form, and rules is a bit tedious. The interface requires a save and load to move between them that makes working a process that spans any of these levels a time consuming task. April 10, 2018 5.0 We got great Document Management, to a really advanced degree, super Electronic Forms tools and an automation workflow toolset that allows us to do much more with less, far better than other document management tools we've tested. Pros Docuphase is almost a 100% perfect product, missing maybe 2 feature evolutions out of all that the industry has to offer. To be this close to perfect is saying something! Cons Needs better support for Kofax VRS scanners, and could use 1-2 other upgrade enhancements. This software doesn't miss much, and should rule the Document Management arena.
