April 5, 2018 5.0 We had an outside company do our scanning for us and we could never find the documents when they came back from being scanned. For example: and STR means to allot of people street. To us here at the property appraiser office it mean section, township and range. Pros The software has several features that you can use. From making your own forms, workflow and progression. We have not used any of the other features it has. Looking forward to in the future. But for document management it is virtually no maintenance to it. Cons I do wish they had free online classes that you could take for iforms, workflow and progression. That way we as a company can see if any of those items we could use. Cons Frevvo needs more tools to support the management of the tool over many years. Including more flexibility surrounding account and form management from the administration side. However, I love their support!!" March 29, 2018 5.0 Easy to maintain, excellent support and cost efficient. Pros It integrated without databases and website seamlessly. I had no experience with PerfectForms so I rely heavily on their excellent online tools and their support team. Their support will work around your schedule. If you don't have staff or resources to create the online form Docuphase is the best choice. Cons This is a difficult question for me because I have no experience with it or software of this type. We have a full onboarding process built within Frevvo and we have managed to successfully hire nearly 200 people in the last 7 months with very few issues. We are currently working on building an online enrollment process for students that will collect certain information - we have over 17,000 students currently. Pros Being able to connect my SQL databases to any form, whether I need to pull information, or push information, has been incredible. Also, building forms has been very straight forward for myself. Using the schema file to optimize and build forms has been very helpful too. Cons This has already been discussed with Frevvo Devs, but the idea of being able to click a button to make everything not required during testing. Sometimes I am testing a form with a lot of required fields, and I have to fill those in during each testing portion. Also, when I post a blank date field into a datetime field in my database, it defaults as 1900-01-01, which is normal for a blank field in MS SQL. I wished it defaulted as NULL, instead. It also provides the ability to programmatically apply business logic and requirements as needed. Frevvo continues to develop and improve the product in a responsible time frame, and considers our needs and requests as future features are planned and developed. Support for easy MS AD authentication through an LDAP security provider. Able to use and integrate existing SQL data and reports. Staff are courteous and professional. Cons For developers, the form framework lacks built-in support for most form and field events, so basic state changes have to be handled manually when handling business logic. Custom connections to external data sources lack integrated data validation, reference handles, or data updating; all left up to the developer (who doesn't use the provided XML schema binding method) to implement manually. Limited script debugging features. Installation and upgrade process is manual and painstaking. It allows me to search at a more granular level. Excited to see how advanced this product becomes after a couple more advances and iterations. Pros I used this in my last job and I can't say enough good things. I really liked the ease of filing documents. I have used other programs in the past that just could not do the job. Cons I would have liked more upfront training. I didn't really get to see the whole system and how it worked until we were in it. We had to redo some filing which took some time. It connects purchasing department and finance department easily without necessity to investigate from one another. There is a clear connection between suppliers-purchase orders-deliveries-invoices-final payment. Everyone has clear overview about current situation on each account. The integration with our existing processes went smoothly as it was needed a lot. Cons The only con which I experienced was that sometimes when long email discussion needs to be uploaded into system as an attachment, it takes few minutes. April 6, 2018 5.0 We were able to store our donor, vendor and employee files electronically and get rid of all of the majority of our filing cabinets. This also helps with our annual audit in the fact that a file can be viewed online instead of digging through old files to locate requested items. Pros The program is easy to use once you have everything set up. I have many donor and vendor files stored in iSynergy and love the ease of use. I can locate stored files with just a few keystrokes! Cons I would like the ability to print certain/select pages of a document instead of having to print the entire document. My workaround is to save the file on the network drive and then select the particular pages I want to print. I am also not able to email my stored files for some reason. The team worked with us to ensure the system would capture the information important to our organization. With iPayables, we have visibility to the invoice minutes within receipt and are able to trace its entire lifecycle. The support that we have received not only throughout implementation, but also ongoing, has been phenomenal. The team truly understands and supports their tool along with our business. It's been a great partnership! Cons There are some search and exporting features that would be very helpful. Additionally, being able to view deleted and rejected documents more easily would be nice. Reason for choosing onPhase We appreciated the depth of knowledge of the tool that the leadership team brought. From it's browser-based interface to it's broad integration capabilities with line of business applications, DocuPhase helps to put content and information at your fingertips - saving time and money. Cons Honestly, not anything that I can think of. I would like to see expanded integration with Windows, Outlook, and the Microsoft Office suite. Pros YUM leverages the dynamic discounting and our vendors love it. The vendors have access to check the status of invoices 24/7 versus contacting the approver or the Accounting Helpdesk. Cons Should have various roles for Administrators. For example, if someone needs to run a report they should not have the access to setup a new user or modify an existing user. Through rules based workflow and tracking via logs, each function can get closer to achieving operational efficiency. Pros Central Repository, Progression. Admin duties are relatively quick to pick up and learn. Alerts and real time statuses are the perfect way to get buy in from Departments new to the concept. Cons Patches take too long. Wish they would get feedback from users as to what is not working well for them. Wait is too long for iDatix customer support, bad for keeping day to day business afloat. Speed needs improvement. Pros Customization capabilities, ease-of-finding results, search capabilities, scalability, when iLink works it saves a ton of time Cons iLink is EXTREMELY temperamental - at best - and works only 10% of the time. When there are problems with ScanDox/Upload Manager, the solution that fixed the problem the time prior doesn't always work, which leads to a tech support request . Pros I like the ease of this program. Training is extremely simple for a program like this and document retrieval is super fast. I also like that any super user can expand the program to accommodate an entire company with all the levels of security that one could ask for. Cons I do not like the the programmers keep changing how the "rubber stamps" work from version to version. some versions can be assigned to users and the latest version has no assigning. this leads to a sloppy workflow and cumbersome use. It saves time and makes data available to all users in our organization from town to field. The retention of this data is essential to record-keeping in our company. Pros It is reliable in retaining data. I've never encountered a problem finding past entries. Most programs get bogged down in too many steps. Docuphase is simpler to master. Cons The software should be made to recognize duplicate entries. It does not prevent duplicate entries which wastes time once the error is found. It makes me productive and efficient with my work. Pros So far I would say that the most beneficial feature from Docuphase would be the workflow tasks configuration. This allows me and my team to stay on top of our work but also allows us to review our work one last time before officially sending it over for approval. Cons If I'm being honest, I don't think there is a specific feature I did not like. The only suggestion I would make is to provide a basic tutorial for new users to see how to operate or navigate the basic stuff within Docuphase. Review Source ML Mike L. Actually I can't really come up anything but if I were to dream I would have to say for the non-programmer designer It would be nice if there was a more innovative way to put rules together that would allow for easier development. We've already released a Visual Rule Builder which makes it easy to create some of the rules. An update is coming in Dec 2017, which greatly expands the set of rules that can be created visually.
