### "Very useful."

July 19, 2022

5.0

Useful, dependable, and easy to use.

Pros

Paytronix is very simple and user-friendly. I like that it's easy to navigate for a tool that plays such a big role in my day at work. It's impossible to have a productive day at work without Paytronix

Cons

Paytronix does not have the ability to operate on multiple web pages at once. I handle multiple 3+ customers at once via Chat and if I was able to use Paytronix on multiple web pages, that would be a huge plus.

### "A Great Loyalty Software!"

November 19, 2019

5.0

Paytronix is really easy to work with. They are the only vendor I know that hosts a yearly conference where one of the segments is asking its clients what could be better. And every year, they focus on some of those items and have that functionality ready to go by the following conference, if not sooner. They want to offer a valuable product, and their representatives care about the success of your loyalty program. Even though some of the functionality could be enhanced, I would highly recommend this vendor to everyone.

Pros

I work with a lot of vendors on a daily basis. Paytronix representatives are eager to help you accomplish your business goals through their platform, and offer data-supported recommendations that could help enhance the loyalty program. Their goal is to an all-in-one tool, and their platform offers a lot of different features. They support email marketing, they have a mobile app which can also do geofencing, and their loyalty features are expansive, which allows for complex, segmented loyalty campaigns.

Cons

The platform isn't the most user friendly, and some organization features could go a long way. We can't sort our emails into folders, so naming conventions are key to finding a particular send. Account filters, what you would use to segment a campaign, cannot be edited once they are saved, which causes a lot of duplication if segmenting changes before a campaign goes out. Like I said in the Pros section, their offerings are expansive. However, when a company offers so many products, it can be hard to prioritize the optimization of functionality for all of those items internally.

### "Furstrating UI and customer service"

February 19, 2026

1.0

For Anyone Considering This Platform: We entered into this agreement in good faith, expecting a professional, supportive relationship with a company that understands the operational realities of restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met at multiple critical points. 1. Incorrect Hardware Specifications at Onboarding At the outset, we were provided incorrect specifications regarding the iPad required for the system. After purchasing hardware based on those specs, we were later informed that it was incompatible. This caused avoidable delays, additional expense, and operational disruption. What was most concerning was not the mistake itself, but the complete lack of ownership or concern for the inconvenience this caused. The response was effectively “that’s unfortunate,” rather than any attempt to make things right. 2. A “Smart” UI That Is Not Operator Friendly To be fair, the platform is clearly powerful. However, power without usability is a problem. The UI may be impressive from a technical or product-design perspective, but it is not intuitive for the average busy restaurateur. This is software that demands time and understanding. Time is a restaurateur's most limited resource. If you are not able to sit down and “twiddle” with non-intuitive workflows, expect frustration. 3. Delayed and Inconsistent Customer Service Customer service response times were slow and inconsistent throughout our experience. In an industry where timing matters, waiting days for answers or receiving responses that don’t meaningfully address the issue is unacceptable. Problems were not handled with urgency, and follow-through was often lacking. 4. Rigid Adherence to Fine Print Over Fair Resolution Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was the company’s unwavering reliance on contract fine print rather than any attempt at a reasonable, situational resolution. While contracts matter, successful vendor relationships require judgment, flexibility, and a willingness to acknowledge when things haven’t gone according to plan. That was not present here. 5. The Access Group The head of digital CS and retention for the Access Group was involved in this process, and based on our experience, I would not use any Access Group platform again nor recommend their other products or services to others in the hospitality industry. Final Takeaway: If you are a large organization with dedicated administrative staff and plenty of time to manage complex systems, this platform might work for you. If you are a hands-on restaurant or bar operator who needs intuitive tools, responsive support, and a vendor who treats you like a partner rather than a contract number, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Pros

Paytronix provided a launch to our loyalty program when our POS did not have a viable option to do so.

Cons

This company has one of the smartest systems on the market in theory, but it is completely misaligned with the realities of running a busy restaurant. Between incorrect hardware specifications provided at onboarding, an unintuitive and time-intensive UI, extremely slow customer service responses, and an inflexible, fine-print-first approach to contracts, our experience has been deeply frustrating. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues reasonably, we were met with rigid policy enforcement rather than partnership. I would not recommend this company or the Access Group to other hospitality operators.

Reason for choosing Paytronix

We actually shopped around quite a bit and looked at many platforms. We chose Paytronix because it is one of the more powerful tools on the market and we were willing to try that price point to build a loyal following.

### "Robust Loyalty Program provider"

March 17, 2019

5.0

Paytronix can be a terrific business partner in launching, maintaining, upgrading, and enhancing your loyalty program. They will help you set up, execute and evaluate campaigns with a lot of knowledge and energy. We especially appreciate their partnership with businesses when developing new features. They will often ask users for advice and testing during the development phase as well as offer beta tests to make sure they are meeting their clients' needs.

Pros

Paytronix cares a lot about what their users think and are constantly working to improve their product to meet their customers' particular needs. We have seen several features developed as a result of direct user input, especially gathers from their annual users conference. They seem to be on the leading edge of predictive analytics and offer valuable insights into user habits. They also have very active Techinical Consultants who are invested in the success of your campaigns and business.

Cons

Paytronix is not the strongest player in the email/messaging part of a loyalty platform. Although they have a great staff to set up templates, the filtering and formatting process isn't as user-friendly as it could be. Their mobile application is also very structured with little room for customization, so you may want to consider third party app development. They are also not strong in text/SMS messaging.

### "Paytronix Debrief "

November 19, 2019

4.0

It has been really good! Rarely run into issues and thankful that when there is one it seems to be recognized quickly and fixed promptly. Seems like you continue to ask for feedback and that is appreciated.

Pros

I like how all personal account information is in one spot. It doesn't require you to click through multiple pages when updating a guest on the info they have given us. It is very user friendly when reviewing transaction history.

Cons

I wish that there was an "undo" button. If you added on rewards with a 1 month expiration, but actually needed it for 1 week, then you have to go back and void the rewards and then re-add them. It can make the transaction history look back and confusing if the guest were to ever view it. Also, it would be nice if we could add tickets from past days on double points days and have a way to "click" to make sure double points aren't applied when adding the ticket manually.

### "Fair platform for loyalty and CRM"

November 11, 2021

3.0

Fairly good experience and happy about the customer services and support provided by the PX team.

Pros

Integration is fairly easy with the developer documentation and the support provided by them. PX monitoring system is impressive, you will get to know when something is off.

Cons

Customer unification and segmentation have some concerns. Better you get these clarified and understood if they are aligned with the business expectations.

### "User Freindly"

November 18, 2019

5.0

We use paytronix with our clients rewards system. It goes hand in hand with zendesk software we use it with. It makes finding customers, combining accounts, adding points and removing points easy.

Pros

I like most about paytronix is its simple to use. Also if you font understand a function you can go yo the help section that makes understanding all functions easy.

Cons

I like least about the software is sometimes it will glitch and not allow you to perform a task without adding a favorite location that is not working or takes a long time to select it.

### "Paytronix is perfect for taking customer engagement to the next level"

April 6, 2021

5.0

Using Paytronix, we have been able to elevate our customer engagement experience. Sending content based on past purchases, and when we think customers will be in the purchase cycle. It's been a real game changer for us.

Pros

As a digital marketer, I am primarily using the email marketing tool within Paytronix software. I find it to be extremely user friendly. Creating, editing, approving, and deploying emails can be done with a WYSIWYG interface or through HTML coding if you have that resource. The analytics after deployment are really where Paytronix shines-well beyond the basics of engagement metrics-tying back to shopping basket and predictive analysis.

Cons

I haven't found a ton that I don't like just yet, but I will say that some of the terminology and formulas used to create the personalized content in emails can be tricky to get the hang of.

### "Not bad :) "

February 11, 2021

4.0

Being a platform designed for restaurants and stores, Paytronix is a good software to engage more customers. It is a needful tool and the combination of several services like loyalty-building, order and delivery, gift and compensation, also the analyzes and reports make it easy for the business to relate with customers using modern language. Anyway, there are some other uncompromising platforms that may be don't suggest some of Paytronix tools but are much chipper.

Pros

What I liked a lot is the constantly updating educational content for users. Paytronix provides E-books, articles, case studies, etc. related to the topics one needs while working with customers. The suggested solution in this software reflects the demand of the time.

Cons

The customer support service is far from being good and they should work on it thoroughly to make it more quick and effective.

### "Comfortable way to communicate with restaurants"

February 22, 2021

5.0

As I work from the office, my team really likes to order stuff for lunch, so I use Paytronix for orders and delivery mostly.

Pros

It is very easy to use, the app is designed just amazing for the user experience.

Cons

I didn't manage to contact customer service. So I think this was the only con.

### "Ambiguous choice"

February 18, 2021

3.0

If you can't afford your personal digital solution, Paytronix could be a good way to do it. Anyway, they may be cheaper solutions, but with fewer tools.

Pros

I like that Paytronix covers the whole ordering experience. Also, the educational content on their website is quite useful.

Cons

There are some online markets that suggest similar tools and are much cheaper. Also, they are not quick at responding.

### "A useful tool for restaurants and retail!"

February 24, 2021

4.0

Overall, I consider Paytronix as a great all-in-one Customer Experience platform, offering a wide range of options and functionality to its clients.

Pros

There are a number of benefits that this solution has. I would mention the process of covering the entire ordering process, as nowadays time is the most valuable thing.

Cons

The design could be much more attractive. Probably working with a new brand book to make some changes is a good option.
