I’m impressed with Tall Emu. Coming from a SAP environment, I can accomplish nearly everything I did before—and in many cases it’s far simpler. Onboarding took a bit of know-how, but once set up it’s been solid. Bringing the company back was the right call: support used to mirror the poor MYOB experience, but now it’s fast, helpful, and on point when unusual issues arise

Pros

It has a solid integration with MYOB to keep the accountant and tax man happy. Once they are out of the way you have a functionality suite that emulates big players like SAP. My manufacturing operation runs very nicely thanks.

Cons

It was good out of the box but took a fair bit of my knowledge to get it running. I would highly recommend the onboarding offer. Support in the MYOB era was pretty poor but now on point since the ownership change.

MYOB is featureless outside of accounting. I run a manufactuing business and Tall Emu is as close to SAP as i can get, without the price tag.

Overall, our first experience with CRM was not very good to say the least. There were many complaints from myself and my staff. Nowadays everyone is using the CRM and we rarely encounter any issues. Should we have issues, I appreciate being able to ring up and speak to a member of the team. The team has been friendly and always willing to listen and understand our problems. I appreciate that they try to provide me with a solution rather than sell me a product. I have always advocated for supporting local australian businesses and was initially questioning my choice. Now as a business owner, I am very glad we chose to be with CRM and stayed.

Pros

As a system, Tall Emu CRM was very easy to set up and the integration with MYOB was quick and minimal effort. We've had issues with other software before where the integration with MYOB was a nightmare and caused a mess with our data. For Tall Emu we only had to log in and confirm the connection. Previously I would say that the quality of their support times was one of their weakest points but this has since changed since \[sensitive content hidden\] acquiring the business back. Having a local support we can ring up and pop into a meeting with is now a heavy advantage of CRM and we benefit from it greatly on the manage support package. Recently, we paid for some development work to build features on the system for my business. The goal was to automate processes and help my staff do less on excel. I am looking forward to the feature and am excited for further custom work depending on the outcome.

Cons

There were a number of pain points with Tall Emu. Our first impression was the system was great. The Sales people sold us on a solution for our business and we were excited to get started. When he had purchased the software, there was no onboarding package and so we had to self onboard. This lead to a lot of mistakes on our end which caused for a number of discrepancies between our accounting and CRM. We had asked for some form of onboarding back then but were denied of further support there and went on with months not using the system. The support team did make an effort and after a good amount of back and forth, we had our issues resolved and our accounts were fixed. Regardless, the reaching out for help and not receiving any at the beginning was very frustrating. Overall set up of the system took us quite some time as we figured it out ourselves. We did eventually get some help once \[sensitive content hidden\] had reacquired the business and were able to exponentially utilise the system more from there. To my knowledge, they do offer an onboarding package now which sounds to be exactly what we wanted at time of purchase. This is unfortunately much too late for us but we would recommend anyone getting Tall Emu to get the proper help lest you end up like us with a few wasted months and money down the drain.

Very very good - there are some areas for improvement but the TE team are normally receptive at trying to implement features

Pros

All in one platform - can do everything from quoting to inventory to a database of contacts

Cons

Timing for support - sometimes it takes 2+ days for a response to ticket items.

Started off rough but has greatly improved and can see it improving continuously

Pros

I like the fact that since getting the company back from MYOB how helpful \[sensitive content hidden\] has been himself as well as the other people working very closely with the customer who were having problems

Cons

The initial confusion to the software which was partly due to not having used a CRM before and also due to the lack of support when owned by MYOB

We were a new business and wanted a common platform to operate both as a CRM and Order Management through to Logistics and Tall Emu is ideal for this. It is intuitive, we were actually live prior to the onboarding, it REALLY is that easy to use.

I highly recommend Tall Emu CRM for small businesses looking for a user-friendly customer relationship management solution. As someone who has worked in technology for over 25 years as a developer, Senior Business Analyst, and Quality Control and Tester Manager, I can confidently say that I've never encountered a CRM that offers such comprehensive manufacturing and inventory features. This combination is perfect for small manufacturing businesses. The interface is intuitive and can be easily customized by non-developers, making it accessible for everyone in the team. Additionally, the support team is incredibly polite and easy to work with. They are always available to assist whenever needed, ensuring a smooth experience. If you're in the market for a CRM that meets both customer management and manufacturing needs, Tall Emu CRM is an excellent choice!

Pros

1) The intuitive design allows easy navigation and customization without requiring technical expertise. 2)It combines robust CRM capabilities with specialized manufacturing and inventory management tools, making it ideal for small manufacturers. 3)The support team is responsive, polite, and readily available to assist with any inquiries or issues.

Cons

While the basic functionalities are straightforward, some advanced features may require a bit more time to fully understand and utilize.
