Pros I like the different options of screenshare and personalization for creating videos. For example, you can record through just screenshare, screenshare while visually capturing you in it speaking along, or you can just record yourself. Cons It seems like I often ran into difficulties with sharing and giving others access to the videos. The links would not work or would stop working depending on the browser or how you are trying to view them. The interface is simple and straightforward, and it works really well for managing a video library and sharing videos. I mostly use Vidyard for storing videos, and later sharing and hosting them in our learning content. Pros The ability to easily manage libraries of videos, and then go on to share them, is what stands out for me. It is very easy to find videos from your library, and you can then download, edit, or share in a way that suits you. There are tracking and reporting options available too, however I have not used this feature. Cons One downside is that while Vidyard is simple and easy to use, its basic interface may feel a bit too minimalistic for users who are looking for more advanced customization features. If you are hoping to use video editing with this tool, you might end up finding yourself using a different tool which can lead to extra costs.
