Pros
It's very easy work with the plataform, and the costummer support is fantastic.
It was a long way to learn but finally a good experience and happy with the product. Today, we look forward to improvements.
Product is fairly straight forward and easy to manage/use. I like the live API links with some of the cruise lines that we deal with.
Api connectivity with a wide range of cruise companies provides maximum reach and best choice for the customer.
Cons
The software can we confusing at times, especially if there is a lot of cruise fares. There is not a lot of customization available.
Statistics are not exacts as some items are duplicates and the margen of error is too big. There are some documents that have to be done from zero, without having the option to updte it.
This can be a pain and time consuming when working out the different ROE's etc when payments are made. I still don't think we use this system to it's full capacity.
However when things go wrong this is where they fall down, taking an age to fix things, with some staff members not knowing how the their own systems work.

"Outstanding backend system!"
Pros: I think the design, integration and single backend system is fantastic. Meets all of my needs.
Cons: No complaints whatsoever. This is an outstanding piece of software for operating tours and bookings.

Pros: Product is fairly straight forward and easy to manage/use. I like the live API links with some of the cruise lines that we deal with.
Cons: Wish the reporting was a bit more stock standard. We deal in different currency's which threw the team off when they were first sorting the product for us. This can be a pain and time consuming when working out the different ROE's etc when payments are made I still don't think we use this system to it's full capacity.

Overall: The support from the APAC team has been great, however, we launched during covid and we are struggling to get the system where we want it to be. This is partly our issue as no time to dedicate to load it correctly, however, I don't believe at the initial roll out we were given the 100% support we needed to get it right . Loading hotel rates & specials is time consuming and repetitive and should be much simpler than it is, given the claims that the system is advanced. There is no functionality to generate emails to suppliers from the system. We were also promised 100% API link to our key supplier in Canada, this is still pending 2 years later.
Pros: The API links that we can use are good.
Cons: Difficult to load rates and specials for hotels. TT is geared to cruising. Our company is unique , in that we specialise in tailored made itineraries and not your standard holiday packages

Overall: We have used iSell for over 6 years, and it has proven to be the ideal travel software solution for our business and now powers the entire booking journey from quote to booking, CRM, documentation and mid-office finance.
Pros: Having Australian based Account Managers who understand our business needs, was one of the primary reasons we chose Traveltek and we now use most of the modules in their software suite. Once set up iSell is a very reliable and efficient tool that allows us to process large volumes of bookings with complex itineraries. The upcoming Product Roadmap looks very promising and makes us confident that Traveltek will be able to deliver our technology needs for many years to come.
Cons: It’s not a quick install and go. To make the best use of the system and utilise all the available features requires time and staff resources. API connectivity with Hotel Channel Managers is limited, however it does offer a large selection of connectivity options with Bedbanks and Consolidators.
"5 years in - and still no other solution to match"
Overall: Generally a good experience. 5years in with no foreseeable plans to move out business to different solutions.
Pros: here at Fred Olsen Travel - we launched with iSell (& iBos) some 5 years ago. Whilst it was initially a bumpy journey, 5 years later - we still use both modules for over 80 of the business. The platform is intuitive, and allows for logical holiday bookings across multiple elements whilst retaining a competitive licensing structure.
Cons: Bespoke development work has previously highlighted misunderstandings and issues along the way, but Traveltek have more recently changed processes and seem to be handling this aspect much more efficiently.

Pros: Being connected by API to cruise companies allows a faster and smoother sales process. It also saves customer information, quotes, and reservations that allow you to do business management. Excellent financial controls that we can manage commissions per branch and the supplier configuration.
Cons: The learning process was not fast. Today we are unable to modify a booking made online. Some reports do not save all database fields. The date of payment or final payment cannot be given by the cruise line API the user has to configure it manually.

Overall: Traveltek allow us to offer live availability and pricing in a fast changing environment. However when things go wrong this is where they fall down, taking an age to fix things, with some staff members not knowing how the their own systems work.
Pros: Live availability and pricing, easy to set up mark up and discounts, create your own web pages and packages etc....
Cons: Slow to fix issues, support replies aren't quick enough, not enough support for the Australia region, all departments should be open for all regions the Traveltek product is sold too.

Overall: I'm happy with the overall experience of iSell. The help desk and development can we slow. However the finished product is of good quality.
Pros: A great product to sell cruises to your clients. The software allows clients to interface with cruise lines inventory. The product is easy to use.
Cons: The software can we confusing at times, especially if there is a lot of cruise fares. There is not a lot of customization available.

"Good product but day to day things dissapoint us"
Overall: We still havent received basic reports, from time to time erros that had already been solve start to show again, support is not efficient nor very trusty, small adjustments ALWAYS have a high cost. The product certainly is good, there´s a high cost involved, but the day to day things frustates us.
Pros: Automation to create a quote/ booking and send documents
Cons: Burocracy to make small changes and even erros corrections take forever you cant trust what support tells us, bc sometimes you find out that the answer they gave you was incorrect

Pros: The practicality to make quotes, make reservations and send these documents to customers.
Cons: Sometimes it takes a long time to load and be able to connect availability with the supplier. We have to keep logging in and out, leaving and coming back from the page when we have to quote several cabin categories in the same inquiry.

Overall: We manage now to process cruise bookings via API/XML. It completes our overall product
Pros: The soft is not hard to use for online bookings. As for integration is good that we know that all the bookings made via API/XML can be found on one place.
Cons: We integrated the soft for cruises. It was not an easy process as each cruise company has its own rules. It was a time consuming process. More the integration with our existing business process needed from our part a very laborious extra work - for instance for the cancelation penalties and also price/comision policy.
