Business Manager Staffing and Recruiting Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Zoho recruit is great tool to have for every recruiter" April 12, 2020 4.0 During our recruitment process, we need a lot of documents from the candidates and Zoho recruit is able to receive these documents form candidates and update their file as well Pros Zoho recruit is very slick and is very intuitive. There are lots of training videos available on the Zoho sites and also on Youtube. It has good integrations with existing google systems. The resume parsing feature is good. The integrations of directly importing the resume form the email is also fab. Cons I am still using the trial version and found that there was no integration with dropbox. I may be wrong and might know more when I explore a bit more. Easy to find and to sort specific curriculum which meet criteria’s we want. A single link that can be shared across multiple site jobs or social networks. Zoho is not only highly customizable (which suits our industry) but the price point is incredibly affordable for a small business. Pros Looks good, they have thought of a lot of elements for various business scenarios. Some of the features are fantastic and the ability to set up workflows is awesome. Cons You cannot create a group of candidates for a job opening and change their status according to the interviews (e.g. suitable, unsuitable, submit, etc.). You can only create groups of candidates based on some criteria (e.g. skills, location), and then associate the single candidate to the job opening. There are not official video tutorials. You have to pay for each user. For instance, you are a recruiter, choose the plan of 25 dollar per month, and you have just an intern using Zoho as a recruiter, so you have to pay 50 dollar per month. I picked up most of the tricks within the first 2 hours. I also like the feature which I can import spreadsheet of candidate records. Also great value to the money Cons One draw back is that sometimes it doesnt allow me to open multiple tabs on the browse. Or if I open a new tab for a candidate from a search, the bottom for the previous or the next profile are missing. This is so far the old drawback I can think of. It saved time for us to sort out basic information. Pros 1\. Easy for us to manage candidates pool. 2. Easy to check candidate status. Make group work more efficiency. Cons Writing "Note" function is not that smart. For instance, if there are only 1 applicants in total. But I wrote 2 notes for this single person, when I generate a summary sheet, ZOHO will regards two notes as two person, and count 2 applicants in total. The initial configuration was very easy, almost self-explanatory. Anyone with a little knowledge on recruitment processes can effortlessly start using this, without the need for extensive training. We would like to recommend Zoho Recruit to small businesses, due to its simplicity, and as we don't have the time nor energy to spend on learning large complicated systems to get our work done. Pros Features like Candidate management, Resume parser, Client & contact management, provision to add modules of our own, integration with RingCentral phone system and also with multiple job-boards have helped us accelerate the implementation of our processes. The user interface and options are so user-friendly that post sign-up, our team has been using the product effortlessly without the need for any dedicated user training. There are extensive training material available on Zoho's repository for those features and functionality that aren't straight-forward. We just need a basic ATS as we're in search and do not advertise at all. Then we noticed that candidates, clients and companies are MISSING from the database! When we emailed support (you can't call them) they said it was "a technical hitch and they'll be in touch in due course". We just noticed an entire company (client and all contacts, notes etc) has gone missing too! This has been outstanding for 7 mths now and we've leaving. If you can't get the most basic elements right, then what can you get right? Pros Zero Cons Records going missing and no one does anything about it! If we count pros i would say they have good interface but not that great where i can think of continuing with them. As, they come in pricier end. All in all it's an okay application where you can track applications for their end to end recruitment. It is easy to use, set up and customise, it does everything you could want and more. Cons So far, so good. To date we have nothing that we dislike, if I was pushed though, perhaps having the same integration with other job boards such as Total , CV Library or Reed. Found that it makes a recruitment department's life a little easier if they are small. Cons Hard to utilize on large scale enterprises. Cons Transferring data over to the system takes a while as I need to input it onto a XLS rather than being able to parse a PDF or doc file when adding in candidates. Also when putting in contacts, I find that there should be an option to ensure that all contacts from the same client go under the same client.
