Once it’s set up, it does a great job of keeping candidates, roles, and client activity organized in one place. The customization is a big win because it allows us to tailor the system to how we actually work instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all process.

Pros

We’ve been using Zoho Recruit as part of our recruiting workflow, and it’s been a solid, practical tool for managing both candidates and client activity without overcomplicating things. What I like most is the flexibility. Whether you’re running contingent searches, working on project-based roles, or juggling multiple clients, Zoho Recruit lets you set things up in a way that actually matches how you work. You can customize pipelines, fields, and workflows without needing to fight the system.

Cons

There’s a bit of a learning curve when you first get started, especially if you’re customizing workflows and fields. It’s flexible, which is great, but that also means it takes some time to set it up the right way.

It covers all the core functions needed to run a recruitment agency and has the flexibility to grow alongside you. While there are areas that could be more modern or streamlined, the system delivers where it matters most — managing candidates, jobs, and workflows efficiently. For agencies looking for a stable, adaptable, and good-value recruitment platform, Zoho Recruit remains a strong choice.

Pros

Reliable and proven – We’ve used Zoho Recruit for nearly 10 years, and it has consistently supported our day-to-day recruitment operations without major issues. Strong CV parsing & database management – Makes it easy to build and maintain a large candidate pool, which is essential for a specialist agency. Good search functionality – Quickly find suitable candidates from a large database, saving time on resourcing. Customisable – Flexible enough to adapt to different workflows as the business has evolved over time. Integration with Zoho ecosystem – Email and other integrations help keep everything in one place and improve efficiency. Cost-effective – Offers strong functionality compared to many more expensive ATS platforms.

Cons

User interface can feel dated in places – Some areas are not as modern or intuitive as newer platforms. Learning curve for full functionality – To get the most out of it, you need to spend time setting it up properly. Automation could be more advanced – While functional, some automation features aren’t as slick as higher-end systems. Really good experience and would definitely recommend it for staffing, recruiting and maintaining candidate database.

Pros

Great for recruitment process as it streamlines everything and helps maintain database. Candidate interviews can be both scheduled and logged separately later. It's quite easy to use and learn using the tutorial and guides. The customer support was also good and prompt whenever we needed assistance. UI can be improved a bit but mostly okay. Also, really like Zia and would like to use it better.

Cons

I think the UI can be improved a bit and the dashboard UX can be a bit confusing or disorienting. Can't think of any other demerit as of now.

I'm still on the learning curve - my free trial just expired = 14 days - but I might schedule a Demo presentation since I can't seem to wrap my head around some basic stuff.

Pros

The price options, quite affordable for startups. The visual appearance and easy integration of the "Career Site" and "Candidate web forms" with your own website in Zoho Recruit, are among the best I found when benchmarking similar software.

Cons

Since lot of features are not available under the "Free Trial Version" (essential features) at the end you still have to pay to properly "test" the software, which make the "free trial" redundant. The availability of options to customize the menus seemed a lot to me (I was looking for a more simple and practical platform).

Cons

We are a recruitment agency, WORKMPLOY, and have been using Zoho Recruit to manage our hiring workflows and client requirements. The platform has been very helpful in organizing candidate data, tracking applicants across different stages, and improving overall recruitment efficiency. One of the key strengths is its customization capability, which allows us to tailor pipelines based on different client requirements. The user interface is fairly easy to use and would like to explore more. Initially, there is a slight learning curve while setting up workflows and automation. Need more hands on on this. Overall, Zoho Recruit is a reliable and cost-effective ATS solution for recruitment agencies looking to streamline their hiring process and improve productivity.

Pros

Its cost effective and user friendly. Zoho interface is very easy to use for anyone new in system. The CRM is really effective for early age startups.

Cons

I can say I didn't find anything specific to the product but sometimes the portal loads to slowly even if the internet speed is up to the mark.
