We do find many items, Elvanto is a few steps behind in implementation. Our first hand examples, are 1. use of forms and linking children, youth parents in demographic settings and groups. 2. Check-in printing of labels parents v children, 3. payment for events and registration through either events in the calendar and forms. 4. pulling reports All of our topics we have submitted to customer support and we do get responses quickly. Not all topics are fixable immediately and we are often told the team is working on it. Pros It has practical usage for tracking attendees and volunteers as well as service planning. Cons Other functionality needs work. AS stated in my previous comments on the first page. I know there's no perfect system, but this one just required too much from you to make function properly. Pros There are a lot of features that Elvanto offers. It is a very robust system with Child Check-In, pastoral care, keep track of people in your church, and so much more. They are capable of handling churches of any size, and the cost is very good! Cons Very steep learning curve. There are so many things that aren't very intuitive with the system and requires someone who does nothing but work with it to stay on top of it. Pros Upfront and easy to learn administratively, app is user friendly, cost effective compared with other platforms used in the past, embedding into website - user friendly, interface is clean. Cons Integration into our ChMS is more time consuming than others, we also use SecureGive and they have a better integration tool. Pros Customization! We can make just about anything look the way we want it to. We can add different things to profiles, link them with Social Media, and if we had issues customer service was always on top of getting us what we needed in a very timely manner. Cons It is difficult at times to find what you're looking for based on the titles within heading/main page names (specifically groups and who falls into that or departments). April 26, 2018 5.0 Pros As the title says we loved the mobile app functionality and it was priced really well for what we wanted and the fact there is no charges for add ons. This definitely made it into our top five when we looked at a lot of software. Cons The service programming can be a little haphazard and the mobile app while it is cool we are looking forward to some improvements there. This helped us to evaluate our options and harness the opportunity Elvanto provided. Since we started using Elvanto we have not considered a different product given that the platform meets our needs. Nevertheless it would more valuable to see a few more features included as part of the package, like SMS inclusion, chat/Call app integration, project management app integration and a fully functional mobile interface. With such inclusions Elvanto is sure to set a standard other similar software look up to. Besides, I believe Elvanto is a brilliant software and the team are doing an amazing job. Pros I really like the differents ways to manage with this software, it let you organize as the way you want and it's really useful, I think this software it's really good. October 20, 2016 4.0 Recommended by staff from another local church, we took the trial on and were given excellent customer support from Elvanto both online and on the phone. Our music team took to the rostering and song management right away. Church member record management is now a breeze, freeing up admin staff and the Pastors for other tasks. Great price points are providing excellent value as our church grows. SMS and Emails to groups and/or the whole church take seconds. Automatic reporting i.e. who's having a birthday in the next few weeks emailed the elders was easy to setup. As was the addition custom fields. Highly recommended. It has centralized many areas that needed to be centralized. We still have many opportunities to maximize the resources and features Elvanto offers. It's grown with us from being a small church plant to now a medium sized church. It's awesome to know that it is ahead of us from an innovation perspective rather than behind us. October 20, 2016 5.0 As a church, we've benefitted greatly from using Elvanto. It has definitely helped streamline and centralise a lot of our administration and management. The system itself has heaps going for it, but we're also really glad to choose something based in Australia. Elvanto is really easy to use and has heaps of helpful support articles for any questions that might come up. The team are also very quick to respond to help requests or suggestions. The recent UI update has been much appreciated too. As far as features go, Elvanto offers a broad variety and only sometimes does that come at the cost of depth. For example, the Worship Service management doesn't fully measure up to some of the other options out there, but it certainly does everything it needs to. I always find that what might be lacking in advanced customisation is made up for in usability and consistency. I left a star off value for money, not so much because it is bad value, but because it would be nice to have the option to choose less features and save some money (as some of the others systems offer). Overall, you get a great tool for the cost, but when there's a number of features you don't use, it would be nice to just opt out of them. Some features I'd love to see one day: a social space for church members to connect; a fuller-featured app that incorporates this community connection; and a resource for church meetings (agendas, minutes, attachments, etc.) Ultimately, I have and would recommend Elvanto to any church looking to start using a church management system. Bang for buck compared to the other two major players in the ChMS market, they have the best product for us. Pros competes with most other ChMS with great functionality. Cons Lack of mobile app / Inability to filter giving statements to people with "home address" or "mailing address" - and also the lack of ability to print statements based on total household giving threshhold. August 30, 2019 4.0 It works great and using things like Stripe or PayPal aren't out of the question with this system. Pros We were in the process of streamlining a few platforms and we were happy to see that tithely played so well with others! Using platforms like MailChimp and PushPay were a breeze with Tithe.ly! Cons We weren't a huge fan of the overall giving kiosk experience but that may have been just a lack of understanding so we ditched them pretty quickly. Review Source EL Esther L. But Elvanto comes as close as possible to the best of everything. It can be a little overwhelming during the set-up phase, but the preset defaults help. They also have great customer service and very helpful documentation. If you want a powerful solution at a great price, Elvanto is the obvious choice. Pros It does everything! (Except full-service accounting). And all the moving parts in the ministry coordinate and interact in a logical manner on a master calendar. You set the rules based on your organizational structure. Cons It takes time to set up, but honestly, there is no way to simplify this process. If you want control to make a program yours, you will have to take some time with it. December 16, 2018 3.0 Pros Very very simple and upfront software. All the data was entered easily, and it was very easy to move between fields and between people in the database. Cons When all was said and done, this was way too simplistic. Powerful, easy to use and loads of features. We have been using it for over a year and I don't even feel we've cracked all of it's potential. Customer service is fantastic. All locations have differing needs and we have found a great deal of flexibility within this program. During this time we have seen Elvanto grow rapidly but in all this time never has their been any compromise in the level of customer service or the quality of a program they provide. I have found the team extremely approachable and always willing to help. I am confident that they are continually reviewing the product and enhancing it for the benefit of their customers. Used the software for: ### "Best Value for Churches" October 24, 2016 5.0 When looking for church management software, I came across Elvanto. Without doubt, this has been one of the best decisions for us. Having used other systems, and some concurrently, with Elvanto, it's been one of the best values. The price point is cheaper than other systems, and delivers more features than some. In fact, with a competing service, we were paying almost double just to have volunteer scheduling and child check in, whereas we get so much more from Elvanto. Now, because Elvanto does a lot, it's easy to get lost or overwhelmed in managing the system, but the support team has always been attentive, answering any e-mail that I've sent within 24 hours, even on weekends. The times that something wasn't available presently, I've been glad to see the team suggest it as a future feature, and even see some of them become features that I now use. We currently use this to manage everything, and am glad that there is no local software that need to be installed, since everything is web-based. In this way, implementation has been super easy, and we can allow more of our members to access what they need to without any limitations. This is one of the reasons why adaptation by my team was quick. I would recommend Elvanto to anyone looking for a ChMS. Review Source JS John S. Vice President Religious Institutions Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Tithe.ly Recommendation" May 9, 2020 5.0 I am satisfied with Tithe.ly. Our congregation uses it weekly. Once you download the app on your phone, it is a fast and convenient way to make an offering. Pros Members of our congregation have been given this option for their offerings for over a year. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not gathering in person and most of our offerings are now being sent through Tithe.ly. It is very user friendly for members to make their contributory offerings. It is equally user friendly for myself as an admin to run statistical reports and other administrative tasks. Cons The one thing that I do not care for is that it doesn't appear that you can rescind a category once created. If there is a way to do this, I have not been able to figure it out.
