Pros Best Value for full ChMS. Only ChMS that includes basic accounting without using 3rd party software. Their Tech Support and Webinars really help. Cons Reporting engine is very basic. There are times when a double-entry accounting could be useful. Very basic website tools. President and CEO Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "A System That Is The Best CRM for Ministries, Churches, and Fellowships" March 15, 2026 5.0 My overall experience with ChurchTrac is that I am so grateful that I was able to discover ChurchTrac I believe ten years ago. They have made so many positive updates and improvements to the system. ChurchTrac is our ministry's HUB for everything now and I highly recommend it to all ministries and fellowships. Pros The price you pay for what ChurchTrac provides is the greatest. The give you more than you what you ask for and the customer support is the top. Over the years I have been able to switch from using several programs to now only one. The Ease of Use is great. It is not complicated to learn. The Reports have helped in preparing tax returns to seeing where the ministry is going. Even when it comes to Member Management, this has been an asset. Cons The inability to have more than one way members can donate. It would be great if we could have in addition to Stripe that ChurchTrac uses, to add CashApp, PayPal and Venmo links for contributions. Church Treasurer Religious Institutions Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Best System for a small church " June 1, 2026 5.0 We have been using Church Trac for over a year, and I am very pleased with the entire system. I am still navigating some of the features that we have not implemented yet, but I am excited to get those features working. Pros Church Trac is user friendly, and the support and user guides are very helpful. When a ticket is entered, you receive an email and follow-up communication after all questions and concerns have been answered for the situation. The value of this product outweighs the cost. I receive updates through email and announcements for training on a consistent basis. The reconciling of our bank account is seamless and easy to navigate. I had a call about starting fresh as on January 1st, the gentleman I spoke with was very patient with helping to understand all the aspects of the accounting screens. I was confused but after the call he sent me several links to lead me through other tasks. Cons I work full time, so I miss a lot of the training that is held during the day and have a limited amount of time other than school breaks to have phone communications. They have always been efficient and clean in the interface. They have always worked to improve the tools built into the system in a way that is suited for churches of all sizes. What they do (and they do a lot), they do amazing, and their cost is a fraction of what many others charge. Pros Churchtrac has the best amount of resources and tools built into one product. It's pricing is far better than many of the more popular systems while still providing a better product. The interface is easier to work with and easier to teach to others than most of the systems out there. The customer service is quick, personal, and helpful. They are constantly improving and adding to the list of resources. Cons Their system sending out emails is quickly improving, but they do not yet have detailed reports read, interaction, etc. Their website hosting and admin is new and quickly improving. However, they do not yet have detailed traffic reports, etc. Alternatives considered [Tithely Church Management](https://www.capterra.com/p/132513/Breeze-ChMS/) Reason for choosing ChurchTrac The Tithely Interface was rough and would not be as easy to implement or teach. The available tools were about the same. The price was close. But Tithely was multiple products built separately into one and felt like separate products. Churchtrac was all built into Churchtrac and far better to navigate and far easier to teach to those also going through the change in systems. As the pastor of a smaller church with many responsibilities, I appreciate a product that is easy to learn and use and doesn't cost a fortune. I'd strongly recommend this company and their products to any church looking for a way to keep track of people and projects, communicate with your congregation, and manage a functional and fresh web presence. Pros ChurchTrac provides an unmatched value for the cost of this product. In this segment there are many competitors, but you must pay double or triple what ChurchTrac charges for the same features. Additionally, ChurchTrac has the best support team I've ever worked with. In addition to numerous online help topics and a growing library of videos, support tickets are responded to almost immediately. I've been using this software for more than 5 years, and over time they have continued to update and improve the product. I keep getting a better solution and the price remains consistent. Cons The setup with twilio integration was challenging and ultimately I wish I hadn't gone that route. There are still improvements to be made in this regard, and with the email campaign manager in general. We especially appreciate the accounting feature that allows us to print reports. Pros ChurchTrac is easy to navigate, with a clear menu system that makes updates simple and efficient. Its monthly pricing is reasonable and affordable for churches of many sizes. The platform also provides helpful training videos and responsive customer support, making it easy to get quick answers and resolve issues. The reporting and accounting features allow churches to track giving, events, attendance, and other important information in one place. In addition, ChurchTrac’s automated communication tools help keep the congregation informed and up to date on church activities. Cons We would like it if Church Trac had a genuine app that can be accessed from phones or tablets. The current access is like pulling up a web browser. I found myself further in the process than I thought I would be, just in in the 30 day trial - so it was a no-brainer to sign up for the service. We are all excited about this cohesive software! Pros We are new users and love that ChurchTrac laid out how to get started, along with videos for details. I have put in a few tickets for questions and they respond so quickly. Cons I want a step by step checklist in my life - after doing the first three steps, I'm wishing I had a "this is how most churches start" to help me go from soups to nuts. In addition, we will be saving money in the long run. We will no longer need third party vendors to pushout notifications, and we can contact members by using texting and the Church Connect App. Pros We just started using ChurchTrac with in the last 6 weeks. I absolutely love how user friendly the software is! The ease of the different modules and the support respond is excellent. I have created custom reports with very little help, because all you have to do is click on a step-by-step video! Cons I really don't have any cons yet. We are still implementing the software. Glad I found ChurchTrac. Pros The price was what attracted me as I am with a very small church. Since then the service has reinforced the decision. Cons I haven't found it yet. Of course, there is a learning curve as you try to get familiar with the program, but I think ChurchTrac is as easy as any to learn. CT always available to develop new ways to use the application. Website formatting easy to use. Pros I have used CT for many years now. I find the cost very reasonable, the support is very good - even when one asks a stupid question. I am the primary user and find it very easy to manage our membership, and our pledge giving. Reporting is easy to use and I, on many occasions, have been able to pull up information quickly when needed. We have never had any issues with online giving. I feel totally secure in having this information in the CT system. Unfortunately, we do not use the accounting platform. Cons This issue is specifically on our end and not CT. I cannot get more people interested in using the online application for any aspect of CT. With an aging population, technology is not what they want. I need to find ways to show them how beneficial the information from CT can be for them. Always a goal. We have created financials and budgets within the software for many years at this point Pros The software is relatively easy to use. Almost anyone with a business back ground will understand the software. Initial set up is relatively intuitive. Cons It would be nice if the reports format could be changed slightly. Consultant Computer & Network Security Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "A great app for church leaders at a great price" August 30, 2025 5.0 Overall, ChurchTrac is a great app for church leaders and administrators to track their churches impact in their neighborhoods, membership growth, and other church member milestones. Pros I have used ChurchTrac in the past to track the members and work of a church I assisted, it was helpful for those of us consulting and the leaders involved. The user access, security, communication, and bank transactions features along with the ability to run reports that help make data easy to read add up to an application that is a great value for money and useful for both users and administrators Cons some have told me they had issues withthe sotware, I however love the application and could not find any issues that were dealbreakers for me. It is very easy to learn once you get the hang of it. I would recommend it to people Pros User friendly, and easy to use. Fix mistakes very easily. I have not used Church Trac before and it is easy to learn Cons I wish it would let you add two lines to a customer giving/pledging instead of doing it line by line. January 28, 2025 5.0 We have been using it for several years now with complete satisfaction. You have continued to add beneficial features which shows that you care about it being the best program available. It is very reasonably priced and I know that comes from the desire to serve the Lord in helping other churches with their financial burden. Pros It's an efficient program that has about all you would need for keeping the church's financial records accurate and in order and yet it is rather simple to do so with the features it has. Cons Memorized contribution amounts for regular tithers would be very beneficial. Nowadays most budget their tithes so they give the same amount each time and a memory, as I have seen in other programs, that would suggest the amount would be nice.
