" July 5, 2018 4.0 Pros I like that it allows me to keep up with our financial needs rather than just using an excel file. It lets me print reports for end of year tax receipts while letting me keep up with information about our members such as birthdays and ministry specialties. Cons Probably would have to say the lack of video tutorials on how to use it made things tough to figure out. It is very easy to learn and use. Most of all, their customer service and support is the best you will find. I highly recommend the CMS. Pros Te ease of learning to use it, and how efficient it is. The accounting always balances. Cons Would like to see the ability to customize some of the reports. As of now they have to be exported to be manipulated. March 28, 2018 4.0 continuity with the past computer program. Wouldn't have to start over with a new church based or mission program. Pros If you have a concern your only a few keystrokes away from getting assistance and an answer to your inquiry. I first signed on to the Online version on a Saturday. The support staff wasn't working during the weekend. However, I received an email from one of the founders and developers of the program and received an email from support that my data had been received from my computer version and would be switched to their online program, she was able to help me reconcile my computer register to the on line register. She has assisted me for the past 2 weeks in adapting to the online program. Cons The computer version offers a full page format when you were entering giving donations or when in the Accounting section viewing the checkbook register. May 30, 2019 5.0 Pros I was recently asked to seek out and implement an online accounting program for our church. After looking through various products I decided ChurchTrac would be a great fit. Their program has a straight forward, intuitive layout which along with the well written and detailed help section provides a fast, easy learning curve. If additional assistance is needed their excellent support team provides prompt, courteous solutions. And all of this at a very reasonable price. Cons No negative comments. The program and support team do everything we need. Cons The software instructions are not clear in every case and in some cases the software does not respond as specified in the instructions. For instance, it says you can reorder the catagories and budget items by just clicking on them and moving them. It does not work. I find the instructions are not complete enough. Since converting to this system everything is one place. Pros We asked a lot of questions of the support team while we were setting up and getting up to speed. Contributions super easy to record. So happy with the accounting and payroll features. Cons I am not accounting savvy. March 14, 2018 5.0 It's simple, very useful, and affordable even for our small church. We are looking forward to finding new ways to implement this software in our ministries. Pros The software is very simple to implement. All of our ministry leaders have been able to start using it with little to no instruction. It's also a great deal financially and has lowered our yearly technology expenses considerably. We love the way it encourages communication between ministries and keeps everything organized in one place. Cons So far the only downside has been not being able to call in for support.The only way to communicate with them is by email or a support ticket. This software was incredibly easy to use and very helpful with online giving as well as setting up a church page for all. The price was affordable and they even migrated items from the old version. This software (especially the accounting side) is very easy for my team to use and keep the church finances up-to-date. Cons Checkin system seems a little dated but still usable. October 12, 2018 5.0 Pros There are several reasons--We needed something inexpensive as we are a very small church with a limited budget. ChurchTrac fit that to a "T"! Also, many extras are included and everything is extremely easy to use. We are new to the program, but are thoroughly loving it! Cons Have not found any cons at this point.
