September 5, 2024 5.0 I simply can't say enough great things about Church Trac. The customer service is fantastic, the ease of user use is so nice for someone that doesn't really have any coding experience - it's all very simple to use. And as upgrades come out they always make the system better. Pros The ease in which I can do all the things my church needed. From people managements to accounting, worship scheduling, online giving, a church website, and attendence check-in. It's all included for a very low cost to the church. And the fact it is so user friendly in all modules! Cons While there may be a few small items missing or I don't like, the developers are always doing upgrades to make the entire program better and if you submit ideas they really do take the time to look at that and see if that is possible. Training brethren to use it is also very easy. I am not a tech person but I was able to use it and training others to use it. Pros Friendly user, easy to navigate. Doesn’t give you run around to use. Brethren easily get to use it at one shot training Cons To be honest with you. Nothing. I only wish when you enter brethren name, you can drop down the menu for the tithe and enter it, then drop down the menu of the offering as well and enter it, instead of going all over to re enter the name again before you can enter other donations the individuals made. Pros I am Elder/Treasurer of a small church of about 50 or 60 souls. Church Trac has enabled me to keep track of our finances with relative ease. I especially like the ability to easily create financial reports for our Elder's meetings. Cons I don't have any major cons with Church Trac outside of the learning curve. Cons The search bar attempts to correct spelling of names and then loses the names that have already been selected. It would be very helpful to be able to download reports especially Mailing Addresses and the Church Directory. When we archive a person, they retain their groups, for instance they still show up in the birthday and anniversary lists. If there is one family that has some members living in one location and some living in another location can we add two family addresses? NEXT big sales job will be getting them to use it. At least the Pastor is pumped up over the possibilities. Pros The helpful videos and so far the quick responses to questions posted. Cons Sometimes your videos get ahead of a first-timer raise more questions than we can comprehend. Then we have to wait for a response or struggle through it to find out what will happen. Each day i woke up can't wait to learn more. The site is very easy to use, templates are very useful and the staff was kind and willing to help with anything very quickly. Pros All the training videos and support available, even during my 30 day trail. Also the fact that i do not need a lot of different software for our church. Everything is in one place. Nicely done! Cons Nothing! If i must, I'm new the ChurchTrac, and have not utilize all features. I would like to have space to add lyrics to song library not sure how many or if lyric can be uploaded. My choir would be able to pull up lyrics at any time right from the app. I believe they have Chord or something (cause churchTrac is awesome) i just have used that feature as of now. August 23, 2024 5.0 This has been the best product we've found for church management systems. We've used it for several years. It's incredibly efficient, cost and time-saving. Their customer support is amazing and their tech support has been some of the best we've ever experienced. We've recommended this system to numerous sister churches because it's such a great, cost-effective system designed for churches. Pros We love the ease of use and the intuitiveness of this system. It's overall design is perfect for churches - small churches in particular. The integration between giving and accounting is exceptional and has reduced the amount of time needed for accounting entries by our volunteer church treasurer. The communication system is awesome. But, best of all is the price - this is by far the best and most cost-effective product out there in church management systems. Cons Sometimes it can be a little clunky, mostly little inconveniences that are outweighed by the benefits of this system. It does so flawlessly. In my 11 years of using it, I never experienced any downtime related to the program malfunctioning. That's not always the case. Pros I've been using ChurchTrac now for 11 years, primarily as a bookkeeper, keeping track of donations, payroll and accounts payable. I can safely say that the program has never let me down. It is versatile in its reports availability, so specific questions can be easily answered. There are other features to the program that I don't personally use, but exist nonetheless that are useful to a church. What I most enjoy is the quality of the tech support. Over the years, I have had questions/problems arise that I couldn't figure out on my own. Invariably and with a very rapid response, a call to ChurchTrac resolved my issue. Very little down time. It's just a smooth running program. Cons ChurchTrac has the ability to sync itself with our bank online. In theory, I could save myself the considerable time of not having to input all credit card charges from the bank to our files, but rather let these download automatically. " September 3, 2024 5.0 ChurcTrac has an easy to use customer service portals to ask questions when you’re stuck with something. The nice thing is the turnaround response is super fast and you don’t have to wait days for a response back. Typically in minutes if it’s during a standard business hours. Pros The system is easy to use. Has a lot of great functions under one system. I can manage communications, online giving, email and text alerts and use it as an all function. Cons I wish there was a different option and using just Twilio for text message feature. But once you get it set up and jump through all the Twilio’s hoops it’s not that bad. This platform is hands down the better system. I won’t look at any other options. Pros I love the affordability and the ease of use! It is packed with features that make it an incredible value. We are a small church that averages 40-50 in attendance and as the pastor, using ChurchTrac for keeping up with everything from the member roll, attendance, contributions, accounting, text announcements, worship planning, and integrated website option, it’s like having a secretary to help keep up with all the vital church info! Cons I don’t really have a con, honestly. Only thing I would say is a con is that I would like to pull up an attendance report for an individual for the whole year instead of the whole church for the past 26 weeks. ChurchTrac may be able to do it and I just haven’t figured it out yet! Our church was still doing this by hand then I started using an Excell spreadsheet and that left room for so many errors.
