Pros

Integration with other tools such as Google Analytics is a really helpful feature. The interface is easy to use. The translation feature is also useful since some clients are not good with English.

Cons

Stability and minor features such as screen sharing can be improved. But I like that they're constantly improving the tool.

Pros

I like how easy Olark makes chatting with customers. This streamlines most of the assistance procedures we provide to customers. You also can chat multiple customers at a time. The look of the platform is pleasing and very organized.

Cons

What I liked least about the platform was how it was not connected to our emailing platform so it made it tedious to go back and fourth between multiple windows.

The best thing about this software is that you can have live chats with the collaborators of the project. It also includes regular features similarly to other task management software.

I also consider that it is not worth the cost for the difference it offers which could be found in other free software

Pros

Their customer support is pretty stinking great. That's the first thing I'll mention. Their live chat is solid. They have rare interruptions and actually apologize if/when they do (not a "sorry IF we inconvenienced you"—yuck). They have a lot of neat features, like screensharing with the customer, integrations with HelpScout and other helpdesk services, and webhooks to integrate to others.

Cons

The price point is really odd—you buy 1, 4, 8, or 16 users. It would make way more sense to me if I just buy users, and then it's discounted once I reach X users.

We are a small retailer and, although we knew adding a new way to allow customers to reach out to us was important, many solutions in the market require more time and resources to implement than what we were comfortable with. Olark is so easy to use and so cost-effective, we simply had to do it. It is also extremely easy to see the chat stats on Google Analytics, which has given us insight on how important it is having that additional customer connection for conversions. I would recommend Olark to anyone looking for an effective, simple and reliable chat tool for their website.

Generally, it's exactly what one would expect from a chatting program. It's relatively easy (not fully easy) to use and performant. However, I would appreciate a functionality that detect's my availability as an operator automatically. Say when my mouse moves, I am available. And when I walk away from my computer, it shall switch to "offline" automatically after "x" seconds... and then again ON as soon as I move sth.
