I love how I can customize appearance, questions, etc. I hate how difficult it is for multiple users to use simultaneously. We have confused many a chatter by multiple people responding and asking questions at the same time.

Since the new format was put in place, there are several functions that are no longer available that our company really liked including the co-browing feature and the ability to customize the size of the chat box. I also find the targeted chat rules to be confusing at times and have had to contact Customer Support on several occasions for help. That being said, Customer Support is always helpful and friendly and the chat runs as it should most of the time.

I've used almost every live chat service available and Olark is still the only one the directly integrates with both Salesforce and Pardot. The Salesforce integration isn't near as seamless as I would like but it's getting better.

Pros

Ease of use, automation is 2nd to none

Cons

Salesforce integration is not seamless. I have to actually go to cases and attach them to the appropriate contacts

Pros

Simple and easy to use. Can pull customer data into the interface. Easy to manage chats and view transcripts. The reporting available is phenomenal.

Cons

Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of other business chat providers. Automated features would be nice but it is simple and does simple well.

Pros

Easy to setup and get started. I personally like that I can see what users are currently seeing. Gives me a live idea on what's going on.

Cons

Quickly sets you as away of you don't respond. I would also love to see more customization for how it looks.

It allows us to form much more meaningful relationships with our diverse mix of visitors and dramatically increases our conversion rate for those conversations. It's also good to know they as we grow, Olark and provide us with additional features and tools to make managing incoming conversations easy and cost effective.

Easy to use + set up; great support; looks great on your website to have a live agent or for your customers to 'leave a message' without having to take the extra step of sending an email. However, if you need multiple agents, it can get expensive (for smaller businesses). I wish that Google Analytics could be integrated better so we can get a better sense of who these prospects are or where they came from.

There are many similar chat services. We 'd like a few additional features such as SMS integration. But what makes Olark a better choice for us is the service. We 've been using Olark chat service for about 6 months in association a partner with users that are not technically proficient. The highly responsive and helpful customer service is great and is a great benefit for us.

From my experience Olark is a great product for a top notch team and I would certainly refer this software.

Pros

Olark is a very good tool that makes your conversation with the client easy and effortless. It gives you the ability to support your product via live chat. It is a lightweight widget that we use for customer support on our website. The user interface is very much impressive and simple to use as well.

Cons

Honestly I haven't found any drawback in this brilliant software.

We started using Olark last spring. We did not previously have a chat function on our website and were blown away with the amount of customer interactions we received through the chat. It is easy to use and a great sales tool. And customers seem to really appreciate it when they just have a quick question rather then having to call or send an email.

As an online marketer, one of the best things about Olark is that it integrates well with most anything and is actually trackable. The fact that I can track chat conversions within ad platforms is a huge plus for me.

Cons

There wasn't much that I didn't like about OLark to be honest.

I have only been at this company 4 / 5 Months but Olark is one of my main responsibilities and it is excellent. It is easy to use and access. We were only ever on a free account but I managed to convince my director to move to the payable account and it was a great choice. I speak to so many clients a week and its helpful for our business and customer needs!

We've been using Olark for many months now to provide our prospects and customers a way to reach us quickly and easily and have been very happy with the product and reliability. The chat is easy to setup and use. There have only been a small handful of very brief outages, which were resolved quickly with full post-mortems of the issue and resolution.

Cons

Does not have screen sharing capability hence the solution cannot be applied to support requiring live remote assistance.
