Customer chat support statistics can be monitored real-time, which makes management easier. We just found it really helpful that transcripts/messages are searchable, so we can easily refer to these as necessary.

Pros

I love that it's simple to use, and even simpler to integrate with Wordpress. You're basically ready to go in a few minutes, even with no coding knowledge.

Cons

The per agent pricing can be quite steep, but it's only fair given the premium features of this software.

Pros

What I like most about Olark are the customization of the widgets, WordPress and G Chat integration, and customer support. Was also awesome to meet the founders of Olark in person years ago.

Cons

What I like least about this software is the somewhat complicated WordPress integration process. Love that Olark integrated with WordPress and just think the Olark WordPress plugin can be improved. Would be excellent if integration was easier and more features were available within the WP plugin.

Pros

i had an extremely good sales experience. the rep was very helpful and educated me on the benefits of the tool.

Cons

at times we had issues with the plug in breaking. however, support was excellent and helped us resolve the problem soon after we reported the issue.

We integrated Olark with Venntive and our customers as well as we find it incredibly valuable in managing customer questions and impressing new website visitors. Adding chat to your website really makes sense when it's integrated with your CRM and triggers a workflow for prompt follow-up. It's a great complement to our Tickets forms. We save our customers a ton of money over apps like Zendesk, UserVoice, and GetSatisfaction.

Pros

It's super easy to implement and customize in many ways. The folks at Olark are incredibly responsive to questions.

Cons

Hmmm, can't think of anything at the moment.

Pros

This chat software makes bridging that gap between customers and your company easy! I love that I can be assisting guests on the phone, and assisting a guest via chat simultaneously providing better customer service as a whole. I like that it keeps a full history of conversations and contact information for long periods of time. This is great for marketing and follow up.

Cons

I do wish there was a canned response that tells the customer "Agent" is away from her desk, please leave a message and a contact number and she will follow up shortly", as opposed to just saying there are no agents available and leaving customers in the dark.

Pros

Easy to use, nice UI. Good overview of visitors. Good chat review/transcript functionality.

Cons

Olark doesn't offer a mobile version of their app, only via Trillian.

Olark is quite streamlined and dedicated to the service it provides. It's pretty affordable, easy to operate, and has helped us deliver better customer support to our customer base.

Pros

Olark offers several useful features, including the ability to attach screenshots to live chat, as well as chat forwarding, message marking, and automated messages.

Cons

One of the notable dislikes of Olark includes limited features when setting up chatbots and more dedicated automated responses. Also, managing large pools of support requests can get overwhelming.

We've had a fantastic overall experience with Olark. There are a variety of providers out there in this space but I don't think you'll find a single one that is as easy to use, effective, and helpful to existing customers and prospects.

Pros

Olark is easy to setup and extremely easy to integrate and implement. We have a Wordpress site in place and integration with our site, along with customization to accommodate for branding, was super easy and quick.

Cons

Some of our users have complained about not being able to upload screenshots to accompany their support inquiries. This would be a nice feature for Olark to consider for a future release.

Pros

It has some amazing triggers and proactive chats, you need this when have lost visitors who want to make an order or want to know more about a product or service. Shortcuts are very usefull but not over use them, people tend to know their are speaking with someone not a bot.

Cons

It is good for websites, not being added for mobile apps. In responsive mobile view it can eat all your visitors screen for no use.

Pros

It's very useful to use for sales chat. Our customers can contact us right on the site through chat.

Cons

The Google analytics tracking wasn't as useful because it's skewed to track the auto chat greeting as an event. So just be careful what analytics numbers you are looking at.

A very very basic chat platform.

Pros

Olark allows you to quickly set up basic chat functionality on your website, but you lose some necessary features for the low price.

Cons

It's incredibly difficult to use this software as a team. The round robin of lead flow is almost impossible, it cannot funnel leads to contact owners via Salesforce so sales reps are always stepping on each others toes. No chat bot functionality.

Excellent customer support and I have used for multiple different websites in the past few years since discovering them.

Pros

I thought customer service was excellent - when I had technical difficulties setting up they were there and available to chat. They seemed more than happy to assist with overall set up and made sure I was happy with the product.

Cons

Honestly, I don't have anything negative to say about them.

Pros

Olark offers a very user-friendly chat software that companies, business, individuals, etc. can utilize to better reach their clients remotely. In my experience, Olark offers a great way to answer (multiple) visitor questions in an easy way.

Cons

One of the things I like least about this software is its compatibility with smartphones. It would be nice to utilize the program on a smartphone, but in my experience, this isn't possible.

Olark is a good effective live chat to talk to clients in a professional setting in a very professional manner. In addition to this, it includes a wide range of tools, such as real-time reports, automatic messages, transcriptions with search capability, and as if that were not enough, it integrates equipment management tools. where it offers a great integration of software that is the most outstanding of Olark where we can share large amounts of data in the chats. Olark has enough documentation from his page where he shows us everything he can do

Cons

This application is paid and could be expensive to use. should have more integrations like Slack and be more customizable

The reason I rated Olark so high is because I know they're working hard to provide their clients (those offering the customer support to THEIR clients) the best version possible of their product... Thus, offering our business clients an enjoyable interface and avenue of chatting to learn more information about our business. Every 6 mo or so we will receive an update or survey email from OLark, which says to me they ARE interested in their client's opinions and they do value us. Not to mention the interface is sleek and good looking and easy to use.

Yikes. I'm not sure. Maybe how often and loudly it pops up every time you open our page! That might be an option we can change though.

It has provided a clean interface for customer support to team. It has integrated well with the portals of the company.

Pros

The notifications whenever anyone adds something to card are providing a good option to know what the customer is upto. It has a very nice backend interface. We can chat with the customers on website with their one click. We can give members a chance to ask questions while they are browsing the client area. It is very easy to learn this tool for chat.

Cons

The phone support is not there which could have improved the reach of this software. The wait time notification for disconnection should be there at every 2 minutes, we don't like disconnection without notification.

This was our first chat to interact with our customers. It's was very easy to deploy and now it makes a differentiation about how we get in touch with our customers form our website.

Cons

I'd like to have more customization options, even the possibility to create a chatbot based on Olark to have more functions.

We installed Olark pigin live chat on our first website and found it invaluable in assisting customers to choose the correct size of footwear and clothing. The most frequent question asked has been how much for postage? Livechat is useful for getting lazy/unmotivated/ web illiterate online customers quick answers. Despite the increasing popularity of live chat now - Australian web customers are reluctant to chat when the conversation is instigated by the website.

Pros

It works and the vendor does not continuously pester us to upgrade.

Cons

I would like greater flexibility to change its appearance. This Christmas the festive themes were non relevant to Christmas in the Southern Hemisphere

When a prospect is contacted by your team and they visit the website, Olark will let you know who that client is and will give you the option to start a chat with that prospect right from the website.

Pros

Very easy to use, makes it very easy to contact an employee

Sometimes it can't tell you who the prospect is, only where that prospect is located.
