Pros

We use this on our website and it has been a great way to communicate with our customers and we have been able to reach out and have them reach out immediately and increase our customer base

Cons

There always has to be a window open in order for us to see it. It would be better to have notifications on the computer, not on a computer window.

It is great for having a user-friendly view as well as setting up as an admin. easily the features, and surveys you wish for users etc.

Pros

It is very cheap per user, it is easy to use and overall great if you are just starting to do live chat -

Cons

No Spellcheck ! We all need and love spellcheck.

Pros

Popular chat tools. Have themes, easy to implement. Also offer free tier, although with some Olark branding, but it's reasonable.

Cons

Use it long time ago, seems doesn't support customer queueing. And also, there are now many chat provider for alternative.

Pros

Olark is so simple and easy to use. The chat interface is easy for customers and for the chatters. I liked being able to make custom responses.

Cons

There were many short outages or features being down. I often had to check the status of the software to see if the problem was being worked on.

Pros

Very easy to integrate with my site. Another best thing integration with Google analytics. Chat interface is customizable to match the look and feel of site interface.

Cons

Effects the page load speed. It slightly slow down the page load speed.

Olark allows you to handle customer questions while they browse. This helps save on emails and support tickets.

Cons

The only thing that makes it not as useful is that someone has to be logged in to the dashboard. I would prefer an app or plugin.

Olark was the perfect solution to our customer needing a simpler and more efficient communication option with their customers.

Pros

We used this software for a client's website where they needed to be able to provide support to customers via live chat. They often got simple requests about their product and it made the user experience so much better for both the company and the customer. I found Olark's customer service to be excellent.

Cons

The biggest drawback for us was the lack of customization options for the branding/look of the software. However, we were able to work around it to integrate it into their brand.

Pros

I love how easy it is to set up and get going with Olark. It took maybe 5 mins to get integrated and going

Cons

the price point is potentially off putting when there are alternatives such as tawk.to that offer a very good free tier

It allowed me to track visitors to my website, to capture questions and grow sales of my software. I could see exactly what pages they viewed, which was helpful in determining our content needs.

Cons

People who visited my website didn't use it as much as I anticipated. We didn't get much traction with it.

Sales conversion

Pros

Like the styling of the chat box and time set auto pop up if required. The connection for multiple users was simple and logging of conversations and tracking feedback and who rated well was easy. Tracking conversations through multiple pages through the site and to checkout and tying this into Google Analytics was a big plus feature.

Cons

Wasn't the cheapest on the market but then i guess what you pay for. Some reports were a little confusing.

Especially in taxes season my costumers needs to be in touch with me with questions regarding their taxes either they can use or add or take away any expensive or income so that way we can work together in real time

Pros

It is a really ease to use app, the chat platform is very friendly and an excellent way to keep in touch with our costumers, they feel that they can reach us any time with any question that they have and they know we will be able to help them in real time

Cons

So far I haven't found them any problem, I try to convince my other clients so they can install in their websites or replace the one that they have

Switched to Olark a while back and never thought of leaving it to go to another provider. If I need to contact support, I get a response straight away to my query and with helpful tips as an added bonus. Awesome, all round!

Auto away if agent hasn't answered chat. Would prefer to have the agent online and the chat passed to someone else.

Cons

It seems to take a lot of space on Wordpress and can become clunky, but I don't mind it, the positives outweigh the negatives.

Web chatting is a brand new endevour for our company. We were looking for another way to provide excellent customer service and being able to reach out to them while they were on our webpages has helped phenomenally. We have received feedback to help us improve our site, fix errors, as well as upswell. A large portion of our business is selling party packages and the average sales were low. Now we can reach out to customers, answer questions, and increase sales of add on items. The program has been incredibly easy to use and requires little training for my team to catch on. I love all of the options for messaging, shortcuts, timing, and appearance. I love the ease of the reports and the information provided. This was an excellent choice and well worth the (not even expensive) cost!

Pros

Ease of use. Reporting. Required little training. Able to modify to fit my needs.

Cons

Can't share images or files (however this is not much of a con with the increased security.)

Pros

This is affordable software--even more so because it has helped us to attract new clients without typing up the phone lines. I really like the holiday decoration options--a fun touch.

Cons

It would be great if the program included an option for an away message of some kind. It's hard to keep people from getting impatient if I leave the computer for a moment, or if I'm busy chatting with another client.
