My experience overall has been good. Although their IT support responds promptly and is courteous, I did have a difficult time resolving one issue. It took quite some time and went through various people before being resolved. I think there should be a more intimate knowledge of the software for front line IT support personnel. They can answer most things, but if the question isn't specifically addressed in their Knowledge Center, it needs to be elevated.

Pros

Eptura Asset overall is easy to use for populating assets, inventory, etc. and to use and navigate. It's great for organizing work orders and planned maintenance. They promptly responded when I submitted IT questions or help.

Cons

The Asset Module is a little clunky when attaching parts through the Parts Master. If you don't know the item number, you need to go back and look it up before adding. There should be a list of parts to pick from when attaching a part to an asset. The Knowledge Center needs to add more in-depth information about every module. Data can be exported to Excel, but you have to customize the formatting in Excel each time. A more streamlined export feature would be nice.

Overall, I have had a positive experience with Eptura Asset and enjoyed taking the lead in improving asset management at our company. Since fully adopting the system there has been a major shift in our core operational departments repsosnsible for maintenance and repairs. Depsite the learning curve for users we have been able to approach each module and tailor our usage and training in phases. We still have a few modules to uncover and embrace but the positive impact so far has been undeniable.

Pros

I like the ability to centralize asset management and mintenance information for all sorts of assets instead of using the typical fleet management software/platform. The felxbility of Eptura allows us to configure assets, create custom fields and adjust work order processes in a way that suits our operational needs. A customabizable platform provides incredible value for money. One centralized system provides great visibility and moitoring of key business components beyond assets, such as parts usage, inventory monitoring, reprting for various areas, etc. Several different departments can find relevant information with verifiable records. The requests and notfication features also ensures that maintenance issues are properly recorded and acted upon instead of relying upon incoming calls that may go unanswered or forgotten. The requests feature and Operator Companion are also very easy to use. We appreciate the ability to issue accounts with unique passwords to ensure better security and accountability as well.

Cons

I think that Eptura Asset was overwhelming for staff originally due to the vast number of fields and opportunities for use. While this creates incredible value for money, it also makes user adoption difficult. However, the new mobile app allows technicians to enter more details to reduce the burden on adminstrative staff/full users.

My experience with Eptura is good. I don't have many complains, it helps me manage the work and when I need support they always help me.

Pros

It's a simple system, easy to use and manage our stuff. I still think that there should have some more actions that would make the system even easier.

Cons

The Financial Metric on the Invoices KPI. It doesn't give you the basic information about your Invoices.

Overall I think Eptura Asset is a great program and the customer support has always been very helpful when needed. If you have a fleet of units and are looking to use a program to help manage that, I would highly recommend Eptura Asset.

Pros

I have been using Eptura Asset for 6 years now, it has been integral to maintenance operations. I appreciate that you can have an unlimited number of assets and parts in the system, where other products make you pay per asset. The scheduling feature is great and it's ability to predict upcoming intervals is impressive.

Cons

There are a couple of features that I wish were added in, mainly the ability to search parts for a particular asset. Looking back at past work orders for a particular asset is also a little cumbersome.

We have had Eptura for years. This is our renewal year so I looked around at other CMMS programs, and while I found cheaper platforms, they were missing key features that I rely on in Eptura. We have renewed for another three years.

Pros

I like the one stop shop for all the modules under one software umbrella. Assets, Inventory, PM's all tied together in the same setting.

Cons

The new mobile needs some feature work, but Eptura is actively making changes and with each app update, the app is growing stronger.

My overall experience with Eptura Asset has been very positive. I appreciate the platform's ease of use, robust reporting capabilities, and customizable configuration options that allow organizations to tailor the system to their specific needs. The built-in BI dashboards provide valuable visibility into asset performance, maintenance activities, and operational metrics. From my perspective managing multiple client accounts, one area for improvement would be the ability to consolidate reporting and dashboard data across multiple environments. A centralized reporting solution, such as a Power BI integration that can aggregate data from multiple accounts into a single dashboard, would provide greater visibility and make portfolio-level performance analysis significantly more efficient.

Pros

Eptura Asset is intuitive and easy to use, with a modern web-based interface that makes navigation simple. I particularly appreciate having asset information, documentation, maintenance history, and related data centralized in a single location, which improves efficiency and visibility.

Cons

One area for improvement is the attachment size limit for documents, which can create challenges when storing larger facility-related files. Additionally, having a centralized document library at the facility level, where users can view and access all associated documents in one location, would improve document management and accessibility.

Alternatives considered

[MaintainX](https://www.capterra.com/p/179296/GetMaintainx/)

The work order management side of Asset is easy to use, makes assigning tasks quicker and the status column is helpful.

Cons

Not being able to delete things is frustrating and Asset is centered around Fleet companies making it not user friendly for facilities. There are options to track maintenance around vehicles but not HVAC?

Eptura Asset has become an important part of how our Facilities team manages work, but it took a considerable amount of setup, testing, cleanup, and process development to get it there. It provides a strong foundation for tracking assets, work orders, inspections, preventive maintenance, documentation, and accountability. However, the platform is not as intuitive or automated as it could be, particularly for reporting and ongoing system administration. Overall, it is valuable once it has been carefully configured and supported by strong internal procedures, but the amount of manual management required keeps me from rating it higher, and I still don't feel as if our team has reached the point I would like it to.

Pros

Eptura Asset gives us one centralized place to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, assets, documentation, and follow-up. It has helped our Facilities team create more consistent processes and improve visibility into who owns each item, what is still outstanding, and where additional follow-up is needed. I also appreciate that the system is flexible enough to support different asset types and workflows as our facilities operations continue to grow.

Cons

The system requires a significant amount of administrative oversight to keep the information accurate and useful. Many of the workflows, fields, and reporting options are not very intuitive, so our team has had to create detailed internal processes and workarounds. Reporting is especially more difficult than I would expect from an asset management platform, and it can be challenging to pull complete, usable information without additional cleanup. Some parts of the interface also feel dated, and the different modules do not always feel fully connected.

Reasons for choosing Eptura Asset

it seemed like the better solution, if workplace and asset were able to speak to each other like we were told, but they were never able to so we are right where we started

I'm just now beginning so I don't have a ton of experience yet. What I do know, I'm excited to dig in and start building my CMMS

Pros

Explanation of the different levels. I was a bit delayed logging in so I'm hoping it can be re-played

Cons

The information was very rapid fire. I found myself trying to process what was just said without a whole lot of absorption.

If I had to do this again, I would pick a different CMMS that can work with our industry and specific business needs. Eptura is too surface level, and the developers do not want to cater to customers specific needs.

Pros

a platform that allows us to track assets, workorders and preventative maintenance, etc. Improved how our team manages work orders and assets.

Cons

The platform is not user-friendly or intuitive. It requires extensive training and ongoing attention for users to fully understand and navigate Eptura's functionality. If the few people on our team left today everyone else that follows would be lost. We are not developers, we are facilities. It is not a tech is not typically a strength for most folks in our industry. The system also appears to be designed with a stronger focus on industries like fleet management and logistics, making it less adaptable to the workflows and operational needs of businesses in other industries. Throughout implementation and continuing to the present, we've frequently been told, "The system can't do that," whenever we've asked questions or suggested workflows that better fit our business. This has been especially frustrating because the product was sold to us as being "fully customizable." While certain fields can be customized, the workflows themselves are largely fixed, which significantly limits the platform's flexibility. The Feature Request process is also ineffective. It feels like customers are submitting requests into a black hole with little visibility, communication, or evidence that feedback is being reviewed or acted upon. In addition, we've experienced frequent bugs and user interface issues. It's common to have to refresh pages, log out and back in, or repeat actions just to get the system to function properly, which disrupts productivity and creates unnecessary frustration.

Eptura sold us the moon. We were under the impressions that we could build out the software to meet all of our needs and make changes as needed. That has not been true
