Cons For large systems, BelManage on a stand alone basis provides marginal utility. The basic search functions are primitive. Pros It stores and displays the licence keys of the software , which makes life easier to reconcile the Licenses. Cons Reporting is not that great, if you want have a reconciled report, its not easily available. For the Purchase of licence there is no data entry module , you have to enter it in Excel, You dont have a option to Assign a specific licence to specific Branch or User Computer. The BelAnayltics Module allows you to input purchase records and automatically compare them to you installed software for desktops, laptops and servers. There is custom reporting that you can easily make and bookmark reports whether it be for software or any other purpose. The purchase record importer also allows you to assign the purchase to a specific group or user. Would you like to meet to go over our BelAnayltics Module? I judge a company based on reaction time provided by the helpdesk when an issue does occur. Although Belmanage is not my patching solution as a reference it helps keep my systems in order and looks at other issues not commonly detected by patching solutions. Pros Our company had a requirement for license tracking. Belmanage meets that criteria and performs exactly as needed. Cons Automated reports from belmanage would be more useful. Although this isnt the intended function for belmanage having a better UI when navigating through the menu does not create a "nice feel experience." Pros Belmanage provides a clear, concise, and easy to digest "list" to manage IT assets and licenses. It's output is simple to use and makes everyday management easy. Cons There is a small amount of drain on the CPU of the system using the tool but it is minimal and has no effect when used in off-hours Review Source SB Sheila B.
