It is configurable to meet the special needs of some eye doctors. There are multiple improvements that can be made: For example, ability to continue putting patient data in without an internet connection (which can be more permanently stored once internet connection is achieved), sensorimotor and additional testing seems to be overly complicated to use, and an Apple and mobile phone versions would be helpful. Pros EyeMD is configurable. Able to put "fastplans" in to tailor to specific practice needs. Of course, EyeMD is made for eye doctors so it offers many advantages for eye doctors over many other EMR systems Cons There are too many "mouse clicks" and buttons to press which seem unnecessary or redundant. EyeMD does not have a version for Apple products or a mobile phone version (that I know of). If there is no internet connection, it seems you are out of luck.
