UltraTime while needing a facelift maybe to look more up to date will be an easy tool for employees to use to keep track of payroll.

Pros

Being a user of UltraTime the most obvious pro would be how much less of a hassle logging my hours into the system now is.

Cons

While the software is easy to use on the surface, getting to know how to do more specific tasks can be difficult for first time users.

Overall, UltraTime has taken the stress out of me getting paid. All I do is log my hours as I normally would, but through UltraTime and get paid once pay time comes.

Pros

UltraTime makes payroll easy. No more handwriting my hours then have them being added up leaving room for human error. Simply work your hours, log in, select hours worked and done!

Cons

Some say it takes some getting used to at first, I feel it is pretty simple, while the software can look a little out of date it is pretty logical and easy especially after you have done it once.

I like that you can make UltraTime yours and customize it your specific needs.

Pros

I like that you can run reports based on what I select to run.

Cons

It is clumsy to change an administrator to over 100 staff when the administrator leaves. It needs to be able to change the administrator to 100 staff with one click rather than by each staff member...over 100 times.

Pros

The best part of of Ultratime is the interlocking and live updates employees and managers get when a request for time is made. Ultratime sends an email to the manager they can easily approve. I know when I request time, as soon as I hit "okay" a notification is sent to my manager.

Cons

That said, requesting vacation (for example) isn't intuitive. You have to log in, go to "Request time", select from a long list of code, click the day you want, fill out more information, and then click okay. The user interface took a while to navigate because it simply looks so old. I had to remember that I could hover, for example, and click, on days in order to request them... there are four different tabs for clocking in, requesting time, looking at summaries. And my leftover balance doesn't connect to our institution's "time off" summary, so it's a lengthy process.

Our organization enjoys the simplicity of UltraTime and the user friendly interface. Entering hours worked, sick time, vacation, etc., is an absolute breeze and saves our organization countless hours. Additionally, the approval process couldn't be any easier, it is just a matter of pressing a button! We also enjoy that UltraTime works well with our payroll processing system so checks created are always correct.

Pros

UltraTime is a great product to work in conjunction with our payroll department. We enjoy the easy of access and simplicity of entering hours worked and vacation time. Also, the product communicates with our payroll processing system very well as well.

Cons

At time UltraTime can be a slightly challenging to navigate. For example, approving my employees hours can be difficult as there is no clear way to navigate back to the home page after approving one employees hours.
