It helps you track all the different disciplines on the project in one place. It really helps on multi discipline projects to not lose track. Pros Having most of all the different tabs in one easy tool. Where I can jump from the costing to the program to plant histograms all in one. The costing and program tracking must also be one of the best features. Cons No undo button :) The integration with other software's is sometimes a problem since not all project consultants use candy programming. It definitely made my job easier and helped me stay on top of measurements and costs. Would recommend to other QS guys on site. Pros Really liked how easy it was to use day to day. It made measuring and keeping track of everything much simpler. The support team was quick to help out when I had questions. Cons Sometimes it lagged a bit when things got busy, especially on the busiest days. A few features took a while to get used to, and I think some tools could be more intuitive. We been able to set it up for our unique business requirements Cons Not everyone uses it, it's not the industry standard yet so you still have to convert programmes to other formats and then you loose some of the functionality. The support team is very knowledgeable and provide industry tailored solutions for the complex scenarios we encounter. Pros RIB Candy is virtually an all-in-one Project Management Software which allows you to manage both costs and schedules in one place. This is especially beneficial for providing accurate forecasts and projections. Cons Most of our clients work in excel, which is not a problem when using Candy. The problem is that, somehow, due to the decimalisation of Candy one commonly gets slight variances between the client's excel sheets and our Candy data.
