For me, Mendix offers a good balance between speed, flexibility, and the ability to deliver meaningful solutions efficiently. Pros What I liked most about Mendix is the speed at which we can build and deliver applications without losing the flexibility to handle complex requirements. It is very practical for real business use cases, and at the same time it allows deeper technical work through custom widgets, integrations, Java actions, and deployment automation when needed. This balance between fast development and technical extensibility is what I value the most. Cons What I liked least about Mendix is that some advanced or very custom requirements can still require workarounds, especially when the requirement goes beyond standard platform capabilities. It is good for low code people but if the project actually matters why does it need to be low code. Pros It is low code that is for sure. Might not be a good thing though. Why not just create your own web dev app. You own the software and don't need to pay a licensing fee. Cons Too much restrictions, what's the point of taking all this time to learn Mendix when it is not used widely.
