Zonar has, overall, been a fantastic tool in my day-to-day work in Dispatch. It helps me plan out ETAs, see what areas do not need to be on route, and assist drivers who need direction in the field.

Pros

Service has been great and reliable for tracking our bus fleet. History tracking is also super awesome to reference for calls or to check accuracy in route planning.

Cons

Sometime the history takes a little while to load up and there is a little bit of mildly annoying lag-time in live data.

Experience is good. always a room for improvement. Zonar need to focus more on mobile LIVE GPS tracking hardware and tablets for Operator vehicles and integrate better with other Routing softwares and vendors.

Pros

GPS tracking, customer support, ease of use, vehicle asset management. Zonar being the leader in the Industry need to focus more on the LIVE GPS tracking, vehicle substitutions and ridership programs

Cons

Better API integration for other routing software like BusPlanner. LIVE GPS and last minute vehicle substitutions/mappings needs improvements through the API.

"The only GPS I'll ever need. The directions have always been spot-on, and the mapping features are incredibly accurate. The live traffic updates save me from congestion daily. It's intuitive and always gets me where I need to go without any fuss. Highly recommended!"

Cons

GPS tends to provide turn-by-turn instructions without providing contextual information about your surroundings, such as local points of interest or scenic routes, causing you to miss out on the local environment.

### "wish it did more"

### "The use of the tablet system."

It has been great so far. Some slight hickups are first, but they were solved quickly. Meeting with my customer success manager has helped. Go \[sensitive content hidden\]!

Pros

I appreciate the utility in the pre-trips. Using the tablet has been a saver on space and time when searching for this paperwork.

Cons

I dislike how much fun I have at these conferences. It makes me not want to go back. I do appreciate the user interface on the admin side of the software.

What I like most is the real-time visibility it provides into our fleet. It makes it easier to monitor vehicle health, track driver performance and stay ahead of maintenance needs. It makes fleet management more efficient for all.

Cons

What I like least about Zonar is that occasionally there are minor connectivity issue. It doesn't happen often but when it does it slows down workflow.

### "Good Tracking Software "

We have been using this system for over 8 years. Very few problems. Overall I prefer this software to other tracking programs.

Pros

I like the system I just wish the delay in updating was shorter. I do use the live system also. I’m just not used to the live.

Cons

The delay in updating. I wish there was no delay. Usually if the system stops tracking it has not been complicated in getting it back on track.

### "Zonar Review"

It has been great and definitely a great add to our location. We can now give parents actual times of when buses are at their stops. It is also great to have when needing to drive a route and pulling the map of the path the bus takes to know where to go.

Pros

Being able to pull up the path traveled and know what time buses stop at each location, also the live map of where buses are.

Cons

When there is an issue and it is not working, the map is down or when the path does not work, this is a very rare occasion.

Overall, Zonar has been a solid transportation tool for us, and the associated emails we get when a vehicle has a check engine have been helpful.

Pros

Zonar is a great product, especially when we have a vehicle that is out on route, and has mechanical issues. We are able to find the vehicle location, and handle the situation accordingly.

Cons

There have been times when driving one of our buses, that Zonar takes us on a different route to get there.

Easy to use and track busses. Especially in cases of emergency. We can get on there and see exactly where the bus is.

Cons

sometimes they stop phoning home for no reason. The Techs can always reset them, or whatever they do.

I like the availability to track a bus in real time. When we have a breakdown or emergency and the driver is unsure of exact location, we are able to find yhe bus using Zonar

Still get glitches in the matrix. Some days satelites have a hard time keeping up with real time location.

Nice to be able to see in real time where the assetts are. Can click on them and see their exact location.

Cons

Can't zoom in all the way or it dissappears, sometimes it goes out of focus and idoesn't follow the assetts accurately.

great product to pin down any mechanical issues and to see where certain expenses are going. Tracking is very important especial in emergency situations.

Pros

The ability to track where the fleet is incase of an emergency and to pull the service records of what needs to be done on fleet.

Cons

Gps losses track and doesn't update for some reason error codes arent shown on some fleet. Cradles break pins way to often.

I have been using this company GPS service for over 10 years now and it has been very beneficial to our operation to have this system in place.

Pros

Ease of use and multiple employees can log in and use it from other divisions. The value for the money to keep track of our service trucks and how long they are on site is very helpful for billing out their time to customer or to check back on repairs from month before.

Cons

The GPS units in our truck will not make contact at time and have to be unplugged and plugged back in to get them to reset .

Pros

I love using Zonar. It's really easy to use and it provides all the services that I need it's really a great website for tracking GPSing and overall a great software program. Thank you Zonar

Cons

No cons, I really don't have any cons about Zonar. I think this website is super great and efficient and I will continue to use it throughout my career in dispatching.

### "Easy to navigate"

The ability to easily access vehicle history and track location on a map is a valuable feature for my department, pretty happy with the service.

Pros

How easy is to use it, also the detailed and comprehensive features are a major benefit for our managing fleets.

Cons

Nothing negative to add at this point. Just one day experienced software issues but we called costumer service and it was resolved.
