For the past three years our company had been struggling with misleading programmers and unprofessional designers that wasted our money and most importantly our time, but in the process of this struggle we I personally remained on the look out for the right platform for GoMontanita´s website. Then one day checking my junkmail bin i saw trekksoft and gave it a little read and clicked on its home page link. From there Trekksoft won my heart. I made an appointment online and avery friendly gentlemen by the name of Anthony Rodrick helped me better understand the system and get started. The page looks and works great. In the end Trekksoft is a simple program that could be free to use or paid for depending on your needs. I highly reccomend this system to other travel companies and tour operators. The on going emails and the helpful e-books. Very disappointed in the bookings that we have received via this system during the first year so making it not cost effective. Disappointed in the way that it displays on our website and would like some improvement in this area. At the moment it works with a book now button taking the customer through to a display of the activities that we offer all in one list and the customers have to scroll down the list to find what they are looking for. Would prefer that when the customer is looking at an activity that a book now button against the activity takes you directly to that activity only with the options available for that activity so they don't have to scroll through all the activities so in a nut shell need to be a better customer experience on our website. Would also like to attract more customers to book via all the different avenues. Customer support was fantastic, they went above and beyond to help me understand the software and work with me to see how I could use it for my company, including discussing customizations. Cons The calendar just didn't work for us as I needed some more strict perimeters, so ultimately didn't go with the product in the end as it just wouldn't really work for us as we do a lot of different things. They have a support chat which normally answers you in 24-48 hours - if your lucky. Other services we use have answers in a couple of hours as a worst case scenario. We have been using it for 6 years now and we notice all the changes and the hard work they go through to improve the system. It still has to adjust the accounting aspects in order to respect the laws requested from the different countries and improve some aspects related to martketing but besides from this, the software is great and it provides lots of tools for the Tour Operators. Lots of support, personal one-on-one live web-tutorials and guidebooks on learning how to set up and administrate my website. I chose the one-time payment feature, as I am a small company, and it comes at a very reasonable price. Cons I am not experienced in building a website and the amount of detailed can seem overwhelming. Also, I don't need every feature.
