My experience with RealTime-CTMS is that the information is real time and is available to you quickly on a real time basis, very helpful when is dealing with patient care on a day to day basis.

Pros

We like to use RealTime CTMS to view patient records and images for patients interventions and surgical options.

Cons

Sometimes the Images don't load, records are not not readable but over all this is just a small issue. That can be overcome.

Pros

Real Time-CTMS offers a set of features that help clinical trial management. I also love the training program that covers every user's needs, and the customer service deserves a 5-star rating!

Cons

I wish there could be a way to import study visits. It would be such a time saver and minimize the risk of errors during data entry.

Cons

Pros

Virtually everything. The UI is clean and intuitive. Branded options for the site and Pay cards are a nice touch. Accounting functions such as invoicing/payment tracking and the template building services have been game changers. All you need is in one place and it’s easy to understand thanks to the thorough trainings. Also, can’t say enough good things about the staff/customer service. RealTime has truly elevated our clinical trials department and helped us to grow as rapidly as we have!

Cons

Very minor and not truly a dislike: RT app doesn’t have accounting capabilities.

Pros

This software really is quite fully featured, and the things that it does lack are likely in the development pipeline for future releases (as long as you let the support staff know!).

Cons

It is HARD to navigate this software. It is NOT intuitive (and I'm a digital native). The labeling of different sections seems rather obtuse (and I think, for example, it's strange to track user accounts for external providers/visiting Monitors in a completely separate location from user accounts for site staff - shouldn't all user accounts be in one place?).

Pros

We were looking for an electronic software program for our source and regulatory and decided on RealTime after our initial demo and meeting. It is obvious on all levels that the product has been designed by people that have worked in the clinical trial arena! We are just over a year into using RT and it has exceeded our needs. While the eSource side is less mature than the eReg it continues to develop and customer service readily takes suggestions with most ideas already on their roadmap. We continue to learn what it has to offer and have just begun looking into the text options. We also are interested in switching our CTMS in the future. I can not say enough about their support team, 5 stars all the way around!

Cons

The only thing I could mention is the learning curve upfront, but this would be with any new product and its implementation.

I enjoy working with this system. There are some features that go unused or under-utilized, but hopefully my employer will upgrade that in the future.

Pros

This software was easy to learn with informative instructional training videos. If I have a question or suggestion, customer service always responds timely and makes me feel important.

Cons

I'd like the reports to be more personalized. I look forward to that possibility in the future.

RealTime-CTMS is the only clinical trial management system our company utilizes. It is an all-around system that can navigator all aspects of clinical trials from patient visits, electronic data capture, subject stipends, to electronic regulatory document creation and storage.

Pros

I like that we can complete patient visits from start to finish within one system as well as maintain an electronic Investigator Site File. CTMS makes it easier to reduce our company's carbon footprint by functioning well as an electronic system.

Cons

eSource is a wonderful function, however, I believe that are a lot of ways it can improve. With some improvement, eSource can be much more user friendly and decrease the time it takes to create an eSource template to mimic eCRF guidelines.

Pros

I like that everything is integrated in one place and it is easy to toggle between each side. Quality checks are easy to be completed because you can toggle from one place to another. When you load a new consent in eDocs it can automatically show and be tracked in the source and a log is made. I love the new electronic delegation log which prevents us from having to go to each person and get signatures. Once you put a patient into the CTMS you can easily attach that patient to a study and follow the patient throughout the process. You can build the budget and as visits are completed easily see the funds due and send invoices if needed. When we have concerns we have voiced them and the team listens and finds solutions or upgrades to make the system more user friendly.

Cons

If the internet goes out there is a problem. I wish there was a way to work offline when that happens. It doesn't happen often but when it does we have to get creative and use hot spots to continue to work.
