I think wps is the same as office in general. in terms of form and function are the same. even when compared to that one famous brand, wps is the best competitor. because it can match in terms of function and friendlier in terms of price. for WPS presentation, it is superior to its competitors. and WPS provide free version for you. I am faster when typing on my mobile, in fact ; i'm 3 times faster on mobile than i am on my PC/laptop keyboard. So, WPS makes it easy for me to type very fast with my thumbs on my mobile phone keyboard. I can confidently say that it has helped me save a lot of time typing. Pros I like the 1GB free cloud storage, the 30 days free trial is a great gesture to show how much they trust users. I also like the fact that they don't locked it out for users who don't pay after the 30 days trial. Its microsoft office compatibility is an added bonus in a way that you can easily open documents from people using microsoft office because majority of people and companies use it, which makes WPS equally universal. To me i think it's more mobile friendly than any other similar software I've ever used on mobile. Cons I worry about the security of my documents and the auto-spell check could do with a little improvement. The app opens faster on my mobile than it does on my laptop. Pros The best thing about WPS Office is that the User Interface is quite simple and the app is easy to use. Another good thing is that it offers a 1 GB cloud storage which is not generally seen in other apps. Also, it is easier to search for documents through the app. And, every document file runs smoothly, be it a word file or a spreadsheet. Usually while loading spreadsheets through Microsoft Excel or other apps, it seems to lag a bit, but while opening spreadsheets in WPS Office, there is no lagging issue. Another good thing is that the alignment of words or the layout of a document never gets distorted when opened through WPS Office. Also, it offers various inbuilt templates for resumes, posters, letters, business cards, etc. Cons One thing I dislike about WPS Office is that they send too many notifications to buy their premium package which I find annoying. Though it doesn't come with a complete set of softwares (like with Microsoft, that has MS Access, Publisher, etc), it is a loghtweight application that provides you the basics of any Office Suite - Writer, Presentation maker, and Spreadsheet. It also has a cool UI, even better than most other alternatives. Despite the few issues it has, I am completely satisfied with WPS Office. Pros When I started using WPS Office, I was a bit skeptical. But the simple interface and amazing UI won me over. My favorite feature is the single-window mode. You no longer have to switch between windows and waste time to take a look at your spreadsheet while working on a presentation. You can switch between single-window mode or multi-window mode according to your needs. I also love the assortment of templates in every category. Be it a resume, a monthly schedule, or a presentation, WPS Office library has all sorts of templates for you. Even if you are a free user, you get access to a decent collection of templates. The appearance is also highly customizable with lot of color and character themes. It is lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of system resources, so that's a bonus. Most of all, it's free, and is offers much in terms of features compared to many other Office Suites. Cons I was disappointed to find that WPS Office cannot be integrated with Grammarly, which was a huge minus point for me. I have to open Grammarly separately to edit my documents. But otherwise, the in-built spellchecker is fine. Sometimes, when I installed the software for all users in my PC, it failed to show up on other user accounts. Pros WPS Office contains a rich editing software called Writer that can create and edit texts, images, custom charts, tables, and other objects to produce amazing documents. It is also a lot cheaper than other products like Microsoft Office. WPS Office has a presentation tool that allows users to create stunning presentations using pre-made templates that are provided by the system. Also WPS is available on all platforms including IOS and Android. Cons This software does not has as many features of other Office programs. It can be a little difficult to navigate and control the environment. The software hasn't been around as long as some competitors and could use more tweaking.
