I believe I answered this on the first page Mining & Metals Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "AiQ - Not Suitable For Projects" January 31, 2025 5.0 I don't feel this program is suitable for Projects in particular, mining companies. It seems to be more for warehouse inventory. Pros It is easy to use if your purchase order is not complicated. Cons It's hard to find things like "paid invoices". I worked with number of system, some bad and some good. This is one of the most cumbersome and very quickly you won't feel like you are getting value for money. Pros I can do accounting on it. Very quickly loosing patience with it and am quite frustrated that I selected it. Cons Well, I had no other option but to downgrade the system due to excessive pricing upon contract renewal, plus the atrocious communication in explaining new pricing is based on number of users. Utter nonsense and completely underhanded. They have you lock in and they do take full advantage of it. E.g. For one of the issues I raised this year with support I was told the system does what it was programmed to do. That's great for them, but for me to get accurate item's last cost information I had to create a work around product code which I called AIQ nonsense out of utter frustration. Cons As of late, AIQ has been running slow which does mean we're less productive but this does only last half an afternoon or so, but this overlooks the pros! The back office processes are more efficient, and the enhanced reporting provides us with deeper and richer insights into our business performance. The price point is also very reasonable for the level of functionality that we now have. Pros Being cloud-based has been a significant factor for us. One of the main other reasons for selecting Accounts IQ was the consolidation functionality which works really well. In terms of fitting in with our business processes, it gives us so much more functionality that it has helped to drive necessary changes in the way that we operate, in a very beneficial way. Cons The only real challenge we found was with our staff getting used to a different software system to do their work. Otherwise it has only improved our processes, controls and reporting. July 10, 2025 4.0 Pros What I liked most about AccountsIQ is its strong multi entity and consolidation features. It handles intercompany transactions and multi currency reporting with ease. Group level reporting is efficient and reduces manual effort during month end. These features made managing multiple entities much more streamlined. Cons What I liked least about AccountsIQ is the outdated and sometimes clunky user interface. Navigating between modules can feel slow and unintuitive at times. Finance Director Used the software for: ### "Fantastic Cloud software which is affordable" April 13, 2016 5.0 When searching for the right Cloud Accounting provider we found that there was a huge trade-off between price and functionality. AccountsIQ is a very functional system whereby you only pay for the functionality you use. The benefits of Cloud working are immense and easily explained. But selecting the right provider is a challenge. The implementation was excellent and we were helped every step of the way. The system has performed above expectations and as we add more companies we simply call our account manager and pay accordingly. We have added seven or eight entities since implementing AccountsIQ and we simply replicate the original model for each new subsidiary. It is a very uncomplicated approach and a time-saving solution for group companies. We've integrated AccountsIQ with other business systems such as electronic document management and a property management system. These integrations save us so much time and reduce the risk of human error. AccountsIQ also synchs batch payments with our online banking, which also reduces duplication of work. AccountsIQ’s customer success team are excellent. They helped us define dashboard reports which provide financial analysis in a very consumable way, allowing us to quickly identify areas in which we need to take action. Pros AccountsIQ saves us a day a week in processing time in data entry from other business systems, reconciliation, and automated invoice processing which allows us to spend more time on strategic tasks such as analysing and presenting information so that the senior management team can make more informed decisions. AccountsIQ simplifies complex consolidation procedures; and has enabled us to integrate information from our property management system Landmark; and provide insightful management reports using dashboards. We like the fact it has helped us streamline processes, it saves us a huge amount of time, it's a scalable system too. The advanced Business Intelligence, reporting and consolidation functionality are very good. We need to produce reports for our investors and it's really easy to get these on demand from AccountsIQ. Essential for the long term viability of the product. Cons The mobile expenses app was initially seen as a significant game changer. However, we have run into a number of bugs within the app and programme that we feel should have been sorted before the product was launched. We continue to have issues.
