The real-time live view makes managing shifts easier. THe alerts for missed certifications and missed clockins also help us keep things from going wrong. Overall, it has improved the effectiveness of the business.

Pros

It is user friendly. Web access makes it easy to manage anywhere.

Cons

Growing rapidly and customer service suffering a little for it.

It makes it easy to manage all ends of my business...clients...customers...finaces etc.

Pros

Easy to use...manages employees, referral sources, and clients. Really solid software that I truly use to the fullest.

Cons

I rack my brain and find it hard to uncover anything negative about the software. If anything...when you are changing caregivers for a shift it automatically reverts back to the default payment price to Caregivers. This creates issues at times if you do not catch it.

When our franchise "Preferred Care at Home" was formed, it was suggested we use clear care as our tracking software. So I really didn't shop around. After just a short time I realized how easy it was to navigate and how easy it was to train others. Their on line tutorials are good, but just as easy to show an employee and they can use the tutorials when a problem occurs. The customer service has always been spot on. Always solved our problem quickly.

Pros

It's ease of use and customer support.

Cons

Sometimes slow.

Pros

ClearCare is very easy to learn. I use this all day, every day. I like the calendar view, being able to use the activity tags and having all of their expiring documents and certifications in one place.

Cons

I think they could add to their reports system. It would be nice to be able to find out the CAREGiver's average weekly hours worked without needing to add up the hours by week for the entire year.

I have been a user for almost 4 years. After researching other software's available my choice was definitely Clear Care. I can honestly say I have not been disappointed. I don't know how our company could have managed everything without it. Clear Care continues to add new features and expand. If you are looking for a way to manage your home care organization nothing out there trumps Clear Care.

ClearCare was a no-brainer for us, with all of the options available on the marketplace today to agency owners, by far the best software on the market. ClearCare gives you the ability to grow your agency rather than be focused on fixing all the headaches that come with archaic software systems or the big named systems that take weeks to implement, train and understand functionality. We needed something that was scalable, front and back end focused and also easy to navigate, train and implement and get world-class support from. With ClearCare, they have mastered the software needed for Non-Medical Homecare agencies to focus on client care. ClearCare was able to support our new division, offer us world class customer service and support, which was actually something that another Homecare owner mentioned they (ClearCare) struggled with. We were happy with our decision to use ClearCare and cannot thank them enough for allowing us to expand our Homecare offerings to the marketplace.

Cost savings in a variety of ways. Scheduling efficiency is the number one cost savings.

Pros

The intuitiveness of the user interface is wonderful. Navigation is super easy as you move around the site. The ability to integrate home care and care management in one system is so valuable.

Cons

It would be nice if the custom report function was able to provide reports in a format other than Excel.

I have been using ClearCare for over a year now and the single greatest quality of the product is the staff behind it. I often call to have them walk me through processes and they are knowledgeable and expeditious. They "get it"!! I would recommend this product to anyone who is in the Home Care Business. Aside from the staff behind the product, the product itself can handle anything I throw at it. It is intuitive and does not have issues that I can say hinder its performance. I love it!!

Overall my experience with this software was OK. I have more pro’s than con’s but the negatives are a pretty big deal.

Pros

Great for scheduling, billing and keeping track of employee and client information. This software has so many features. You can store contact information for everyone and it allows you to communicate via text and email through the portal.

Cons

Somewhat user friendly. The system tends to lag and crash a lot. Making changes to a caregivers schedule can be combursome.

Pros

I love how user-friendly Clear Care is! We looked at a couple different products for online scheduling and the others fell short. From the home screen to the live view, Clear Care is the best! The telephony really sold us on Clear Care because we love the way it tracks our caregivers and their hours. Also, the scheduling function saves us so much time and we are able to contact the caregivers directly from the program. There are always great updates and the customer support always has the right answers for us!

Cons

There isn't really anything I don't like about Clear Care. If there is something that you need the product to do, the customer service team is always open to hearing your ideas and making changes.

Generally positive. Very little in the vein of negativity to say about this software. I definitely recommend it in spite of occasional server down time.

Pros

ClearCare's user interface is incredibly intuitive and easy to navigate. The instructional videos are a blessing, and whenever I ran into an issue, I deferred to them. I only contacted customer service via the phone once but I got an agent within minutes who was extremely knowledgeable. They are also very open to suggestions about improving the platform. My issue was resolved immediately. I highly recommend this software.

Cons

I wish there were an easier way to send electronic messages to all employees at the same time without selecting them one by one. Also, the servers have gone down twice in three months for brief periods that mildly effected our daily operations.

Pros

I love that ClearCare is so user-friendly! It also is very functional and customizable to your needs. It covers just about every aspect of the Home Health Care Field we need. Any time we have a question, the support team gets back to us promptly and are very friendly. They also welcome and implement changes you may need or questions you might have that cater to your company's individual needs. Also, I love the automated messages to the staff about shift reminders and expiration dates for important documents. I love the fact that I can also send mass messages or individual messages directly from ClearCare to the staff's emails or phones. I might add that scheduling and being able to view who is available for coverage has never been easier! You can also organize how you see your client and staff information, whether it be by name, caregiver, email, location etc. ClearCare also allows you to make shift notes, and activity notes, as well as upload important files. It has just about everything we need!

Cons

There isn't much I don't like about this product. However, the caregiver login via phone or PC could include the ability to view their payroll breakdown.

Clearcare has excellent customer service that resolves problems or answers questions right away. In an industry that moves at the speed of lighting Clearcare is always there to fix any issues we may be having our to educate us on new features that will help us to work faster and more efficiently. We choose Clearcare because we were having issues with the customer service we were receiving from our previous provider and we have been so pleased with the hands on experience we have had. The on boarding was a breeze and they are always willing to have private webinars for our employees to show us the new features that are always coming out. The telephony clock in systems is so easy to use. Having it work through the clients phone makes it much easier to instruct the caregivers. I am don't have to worry about getting calls that the caregiver is not there or that the caregiver forgot their pin number. We know right away when someone hasn't clock in/out or if the have clocked in/out late. The functionality on my IPhone has improved drastically and now I can pull up the dashboard and specific client or caregiver information anywhere within seconds. This is such a technologically advanced company, I am sure half of the things they offer I don't even know how to use yet but even using just the small portion we are currently using has allowed us to streamline our business and make ourselves more available to clients and marketing rather than being stuck in the back office organizing shifts, etc.

Pros: -user friendly -few mouse clicks to accomplish what you need to -great tech support with emergency after hours for certain types of emergencies -tech support spans usual biz hours in all time zones -"The Family Room", a real game changer -easy to schedule -automatic notifications by program, to cg's of next day shifts -auto notification to cg's of changes to schedule -opportunity for cg's to accept or decline shift -all cg texts to and from, automatically inputted into EE e file on system -all emails inside and outside the system, sent/received to/from family, automatically put into programs e file -built in CRM -built in easy to access, reports -easy export to Quick Books -other features, like "Care Finder" are helpful -does billing, payroll AND scheduling -knowledgeable, USA based tech support who have English as a first language Cons: -no ability to put potential cg's for shifts needing filled, somewhere inside that shift box -wish tech support hours were longer and with some coverage through weekends -no add on software to manage Professional Care Manager documents -no VAC forms or insurance forms, built in -too many notifications of shift changes when large amounts of shifts are adjusted

Pros

Before ClearCare, my office scheduled with paper and a giant eraser. We needed the eraser because the schedule changed by the minute! ClearCare brought us into the 21st century. Suddenly, we became more productive, and our efficiency increased immeasurably. No more scheduling mistakes, unfilled shifts, or caregivers showing up at the wrong time or place. Before ClearCare, it was necessary to call each caregiver with their schedules, information about the clients, and directions to each client's home. Huge room for error! The website for each caregiver is amazing! Talk about a timesaver! I also love the family portal. We have acquired so many clients due to this feature alone! Communication is so important when family is far apart. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to provide that comfort. As for the vendor, they don't come any better than the folks at ClearCare! Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. I'm sure I could say more, but you get the picture!

Cons

Sometimes, the system does go down. Not a lot, but we are so dependent on it to run the business that when it does happen, we try not to panic!

Pros

My company has been using ClearCare for a little more than a year. ClearCare is literally the heart of our operation. We really enjoy all of the feature and functionality of the system and likewise, the fact that it continues to advance and improve all the time. We also like the device-agnostic approach of the system, though would like it to work a little more flawlessly in the tablet environment. It's close, and I'm confident the development team will get it there.

Cons

In general, the development team is very responsive to user feedback and input. However, to prioritize new feature requests, they use a crowdsourcing-like method relying on how many "likes" a particular request receives. Unfortunately, as the guy who's writing the check for an entire company of users and often make requests that could improve our quality, performance, or ROI, I wish they could come up with a better way of prioritizing requests.

I evaluated several software vendors before selecting and deploying ClearCare in our agency. The software allows us to more efficiently schedule and communicate with our caregivers. The software does a very nice job integrating the telephony time tracking and documentation system. The Company continues to innovate and consistently requests the input of users to offer new features and benefits. The Company culture is very helpful and responsive. The onboarding process went smoothly without any setbacks. With this system in place, we are now in a position to manage and track our growth.

Scheduling and payroll management.

Pros

Automated walk through of basic functions, Integrated billing, and cloud backup. The software is accessible from any Pc or Mac computer. Also, the billing portion is itemized and exportable to Microsoft excel.

Cons

Customer service takes up to 24 hours to reply. No smart phone application or integration. Software slows down with multiple users log in.

Easy to schedule, Great layout, we also use their ACH services. We do payroll on the side with ADP. It works out great for the size of our agency. Good resource.

There are concerns that customized reports are not saveable and are unable to be viewed by all parties needing access.
